Brilliante

Let me tell you about my good friend, Brilliante. She's sexy, sweet, powerful and fruity. I scored a good deal on Mercari, but i wasn't sure if i was wasting my money because i didn't see many reviews on this fragrance. I own several fragrances from Vince Camuto, which i love. So i was confident Brilliante would be at least a solid like. 🌼 To my nose, Brilliante opens with a mildly sweet blend of Black Currant, Pear and Jasmine. As i mentioned in my story, the white floral blend in this juice smells like a romantic conception of Thierry Mugler's Alien and Rihanna's Kiss. It's so beautifully done. I can smell a hint of both fragrances in this composition, but it maintains it's own uniqueness. As this settles, there's a hint of orange blossom with a wood accord in the dry down. Brilliante lasted about 6 hours on my skin with 3 feet of projection. Brilliante is a very loveable scent, it's very unique, and is a compliment magnet. I feel this is a perfect first date fragrance. Brilliante is memorable and would make a great first impression on your potential soulmate. Overall, though i paid significantly less than the retail price, after smelling this, i would say Brilliante is well worth $90. If you happen to be shopping at Macy's, i highly encourage you guys to give this a sniff. Scent: 9/10 Packaging: 9/10 Performance: 7.5/10

Not heaven nor earth and deeper than all the waters known to man. This has a white bow choker but the irony is, is that this juice is darkness. It is an abyss that swallows up man whole--never to be seen, heard, and felt again. There is one thing I like more than the deep red color of blood running through the veins--and that is the shade of my lipstick.

A great blind buy! To my nose, this fragrance smells like a brand new car that a cigarette was smoked in--loaded with white flowers. It is so unique, with great projection and longevity. It is suitable for both day and night activities. Definitely, signature scent worthy.

I have had this fragrance for a short time, so I am unsure I can add a good review. I loved the notes listed so I thought I would give it a try. I liked it at first sniff, but it isn’t very powerful. I feel it wears off quickly, but the fragrance is still begging me to sniff myself again and again, if that makes sense.😇 I am not good at picking out individual notes, but I can tell if they are blended nicely to create a beautiful aroma. This fragrance is pleasant to wear. It is a keeper, and I think I will reach for it often, especially when I don’t want to over power people with my scent.

I think this is lovely. Definitely a floral/fruity fragrance with a woody base. You can smell the pear and black currant right off the bat and once it begins to dry, the rich creamy white florals begin to appear. The complete dry down is warm, sweet and woody. Cashmere/Cashmeran is a note that can quickly become headache-inducing to me, but this is not the case with this perfume. It is nicely balanced with the lightness of pear, jasmine and orange blossom. Is it the most unique scent? No, but sometimes you just want a pretty and inoffensive fragrance and this does the trick.

I’m getting no fruit...very little floral, and I can’t pick out specific florals. I’m getting lots of the cedar, and it showed up early in the dry down. I got this as my monthly choice in a perfume subscription. It’s fresh and pleasant enough, but for this flower-loving woman, not full-bottle worthy.

Blind bought and returned. A very mature-leaning woodsy floral in a beautiful bottle. Not bad, but not my thing. I didn't get any fruitiness from it at all; pretty jasmine-cedar-heavy scent profile to my nose. And definitely nothing like Alien lol.

Sweet floral uninteresting smell, not bad just boring generic perfume. Doesn’t make me want to smell my wrist, but not bad that I would have to scrub it off, maybe because I sprayed only wrist, eww it’s getting more and more artificial.

I am not picking up on the fruity notes in this. All I smell is cedar and floral. That combination could dip into air freshener territory, but Brilliante does not. It is a fresh, clean scent.

I love fresh, green, floral cedar but this is creamy, floral cedar and it just smells weird -- both the floral notes and cedar are vying to dominate. Not a safe blind buy for sure. Pretty linear - the dry down is exactly like the opening. Doesn't smell cheap, but like mentioned, on me it's not something I want to keep sniffing and getting high off. Lasted about 5 hours in the gym so longevity is good but sillage is more modest.

$20 blind buy success. I bought this because the perfumer behind my beloved Kayali Vanilla 28 & Juicy Couture Just Moi- Gabriela Chelariu made this and let’s just say I love it . It’s crisp and clean in the opening and there’s a freshness to it as well. The drydown is nice- it would be great for a hot and sunny day because it smells like cleaned and laundered clothing still hot right out from the dryer.

I’ve only ever owned 3 Vince Camuto fragrances but this is my favorite! It’s a nice, light, but not too light, scent. It’s very fresh, like a straight out of the shower, so fresh and so clean smell. Pondering it? Get it! You can also get it fairly cheap, around $30 bucks, at discounter websites.

I tried this in the store today. It reminds me of a cross between Lancôme Poem’e and Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto. Good silage and longevity. Not for me though. I must pass on this fragrance.
