Akoya

Unisexy! The definition of Unisex. Citrusy, floral, sweet, but grounded. My wife loves to wear jt.

Akoya surprised me. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into this one, but this is a really nice scent. It opens up bright, citrusy, and fresh with a little spice in the background, but as it settles down, that amber starts to come through and gives it some warmth and depth. What I like about Akoya is that it smells clean and fresh without being boring or smelling like every other blue fragrance out there. There’s a slight floral touch in there, but nothing that makes it lean feminine to my nose. It just helps smooth everything out and gives the fragrance a little more character. This is definitely something I could see myself reaching for in the warmer weather when I want to smell fresh, clean, and put together, but still want people to notice me. The longevity is great, the performance is great, and the sillage is definitely there. This one performs and leaves a nice scent trail without being obnoxious about it. Easy to wear, versatile, and smells more expensive than I expected. Overall, Akoya is a solid fragrance and one I think more people should check out. Definitely a pleasant surprise for me. I give Akoya a solid 4 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My second sampling of Vivamor Parfums is Akoya, a fresh grapefruit-led, citrus-heavy freshie with an appropriate spread of spices and woods to round it out. Lemon, ginger, pink pepper, incense, and amber round this out. It’s dense, reasonable fresh but not overly bright or fleeting, seemingly a very robust-performing freshie that should handle the heat and cold well alike. There’s nothing not to like; it’s highly agreeable. However, I do not regard it as a standout fragrance that should be paid attention to. Still, the value is reasonable enough, $155 for 100ml, sold both via the house and now boutiques like Perfumology. I think it’s only natural to make comparisons to perfumes in the sister company Navitus Parfums’ catalogue, and the most obvious comparisons can be made (by no coincidence) to the other fragrances with blue bottles, Elation and Soleil Matin, both of which I’d argue are a bit brighter than Akoya, with Soleil Matin being the more accessible and superior of the two, though I still like Elation. I think Akoya fits in with both of these, though, and is comparable in terms of quality, overall. 7 out of 10

I really really like this and I do not enjoy citrus fragrances in fact I own none. This is fresh yet smooth, not your air freshener, toilet cleaner kind. On my skin it's warm, creamy, a little spicy from the ginger & pink pepper and fresh fragrance and I'm enjoying it. Very unisex and guys, its POTENT! 1-2 sprays max and it fills the room even after my sister left, the scent was still present and radiating. Urgghhh I need a bottle of this!

I get designer freshie citrus bright with a mint edge a touch of lavender maybe the grapefruit is sharp sour not juicy it's ok not wow but I like it

This smells like a men’s perfume that I’ve smelled before, but can’t put a name to it. I really can’t make out any of the notes listed. What I get is a warm, spicy, manly smell. Being an extrait, it doesn’t project well, or rather I don’t get nice aromatic whiffs of myself. I have to smell the area that I sprayed in order to really smell it. I also seem to go nose blind fairly easy to it and have to take breaks from sniffing. Overall, it’s nice, I think a man would do very well to wear this as a casual perfume, but it’s not for me, as I like my perfume to be more “pretty” and feminine.

I don't like freshies and I didn't like this one. Also, it smells more masculine to me.
