Dubai Chocolate Perfume

There’s definitely pistachio here — the top notes open with a true, rich pistachio note. The dry down becomes slightly powdery, and that’s when the chocolate really starts to come through. It’s basically everything I wanted 33 to be. Compared to that one, this is stronger, more realistic, and has much more depth. I actually sold my Kayali because my nose only ever picked up powder from it — this one is far superior for me.

This is a beast. Probably the best Dubai chocolate style perfume ever! Do not miss it. It’s a masterpiece and it doesn’t resemble Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato in any shape or form. It’s quite unisex, not so overly sweet and it lasts forever on skin. Pretty realistic still wearable Dubai chocolate fragrance. Very well done! 5/5

I don't get anything soapy from this. It is a beast mode Dubai chocolate gourmand. Pretty straight forward

I got this when it released ($75 w/ the coupon), and it arrived very quickly. I was excited to try this bc I like Sidonie Lancesseur, but tbh, this was a little mid. Vivamor's Dubai Chocolate is basically just Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato mixed with a chocolate/cocoa base. On first spray, the scent comes out quite balanced and nice. As it dries down, it quickly becomes more Yum Pistachio Gelato than chocolate as the YPG DNA amps up while the chocolate fades more into the background. After about 20 minutes, I can't really detect the chocolate in there at all anymore. It just feels like 95% YPG that is slightly warmer. Overall, this perfume is likeable, but for me, it was a little disappointing. It wasn't the chocolately, nutty, decadent scent I was hoping for. If you told me this was a Kayali flanker, I would have believed you (but then, people would definitely be upset that the flanker was too close to the OG). If you have a YPG or any of its dupes/clones, try layering it with a chocolate scent and see how you like it. Personally, I feel like if you have an iteration of YPG already, you don't need this. I might return my bottle bc it's quite redundant in my collection, and I'm running out of space. Luckily, it came with a carded sample so my full bottle is still sealed.

The drydown had a prominent soapy pistachio. I hardly got any chocolate notes on my skin

This is surprisingly soapy, making it more similar to the Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato than I think it should be. It's Yum Pistachio Gelato with a bit of cocoa powder. If you told me this was a YPG flaker, I would believe you. I don't know what note(s) listed above is giving soap. This is NOT a rich, nutty, chocolate fragrance to my nose. I was expecting Nautivus's Baklava Royale with dark chocolate. It's sadly underwhelming and I could see myself decluttering this at the end of the winter season. Today I purchased ALT Fragrances' Dubai Chocolate (not currently in the Fragrantica database). The notes are different from this (TOP: pistachio, almond, cherry, orange, and bergamot; HEART: chocolate, crème, golden caramel, lavender, coconut; BASE: vanilla, guaiac wood, amber, sandalwood). Hope to have better luck with the ALT scent.

I got a decant/sample because I don't want to pay the full price for this because my husband hates the smell lol. I personally love it. The bergamot note was unexpected at first, but it quickly gives way to the sweetness of the pistachio and richness of the chocolate. This is bold, beautiful, complex, and sophisticated. Often chocolate notes tend to smell like a melted Ken doll leg to me. This does not have any plastic vibe to it. Love and adore it.

I I acquired a sample of this fragrance. It knocked me back as far as who realistic, beautiful, deep, and chocolate smelling this scent is. This is a gem. Only thing about it is that it is not holding up against the cold weather. Doesn't mean that it won't hit in summer.

The previous review is 100% right. This is almost EXACTLY kayali pistachio gelato with like.. a drop of chocolate. Wish it was more chocolately! Smells good, but if you have the kayali you do not need this.

I ordered my bottle can’t wait to get it and see what it’s all about. This will be my first Dubai Chocolate fragrance.
