Midnight Mischief

My second try from the latest quartet of releases from Vivamor Parfums is Midnight Mischief, designed as a seductive multifaceted date night-type scent, it has a unisex flair with a varied note list of orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood, rose, and amber, mostly—fresh, sweet, floral, woody, a little creamy. The sweet pairing of orange blossom and vanilla stands out to me here, as it often does, due its connection to beloved orange creamsicle ice treats, but this mix is rendered more sophisticated and less gourmand-focused with the addition of rose, sandalwood, and amber. It largely achieves its submission—it’s a not-overly-heavy, semi-nighttime fragrance that is still pretty versatile in terms of season, occasion, and wearer. It’s probably not something I would deliberately wear to the gym or the beach but its fresh-but-dense utility is high quite, and I quite love it, as it’s something I could personally wear a lot of the time and wouldn’t be opposed to overspraying it. Comparison-wise, it reminds me a little of Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo and Meringa in terms of the orange blossom + vanilla pairing, but the rose in particular moves it in different direction. Priced (like the rest of the recent releases) at $125 for 100ml in extrait concentration, and it performs well, so a very good deal in the current market and yet another winner from this house that continues to impress since its initial releases in late 2022. Currently it’s only sold at the house website but I expect other points of sale (boutiques like Perfumology) will carry it soon enough. There’s also a discovery set that includes the most recent 4 releases. 8 out of 10

This is so good!!! Especially that drydown, got my eyes rolling to the back 😮💨😮💨🤤🤤. Obsessed..! Opens up fresh like orange tea sweetened by a heavy dose of honey and rose petals, but that dry down tho ouuuuuh SEXY! Edit: Super sexy & feminine, The perfect honey & rose combo for me and im obsessed! Truly, after Tom Ford Vanille Fatale (2017), this is an absolute love!

Okay! So my review isn’t going to be totally accurate because I just sprayed it on me for the first time. Opening: Sharp initially with first sniff. Citrus and a oudy rose. Dry down: week old, cut rose buds with dried crispy edges on top of a charred log still warm to the touch. I know that smoke isn’t listed in the notes but something in this is giving charred vibes. I think this is 100% split on unisex. But the woman needs to want to feel strong and sexy! I’m an over sprayer and I accidentally did 3 chest sprays because I was trying to take myself out ☠️ This is a shoulder, shoulder, stomach! Not 3 to the chest!! It reminds me of Atelier Des Ors Rose Omyyade And Lancome L’Autre Oud. They are all 3 about 90% similar to each other. 8/10 only because the smokiness is giving cigarette ash as well

This to me is a slightly more masculine leaning Jardins de Misfah. Maybe its the type of rose used or something but to me its really got a similar vibe without the sweetness of the dates. Its got that same slightly musty quality. A Summer evening fragrance, natural smelling, conjuring up dark green hedged gardens and Mediterranean terraces, a Moroccan Spa, walking under starry indigo skies on sultry nights. Super long lasting. I won't be purchasing this as I prefer Jardins de Misfah - if you have that I don't think you need this one.

This one is my favorite out of all of them and I own a full bottle of it!! It’s very unique. Reminds me of Sketch by Maison Violet but without the Anise/liqorice smelling note. Some may say it leans masculine but it’s perfectly unisex to me! It’s definitely not blind buy worthy so please get a sample first!! Longevity is amazing and for the price point, you can’t go wrong with this!!

Midnight Mischief is a surprisingly animalic and masculine leaning fragrance that opens with some harshness. With the passage of time it does mellow out and the sharp edginess does manage to dissipate. I perceive no sweetness or warm resinous notes which is disappointing. Blame it on chemistry, this well crafted fragrance is definitely a no thank you for me!

Very sexy, masculine leaning orange blossom and rose and oudy type of fragrance!!! It does lean into the Jardins de Misfah territory with the sticky sweet oudy rose. As a woman I wear this and love it. I keep almost selling it then I go to smell it and put it right back! It's so good. Deep.. seductive, sweet.

Leans more masculine. If you like clean non-medicinal oud scents then you might like this. Reminds me a lot of Halfeti and Armani prive Cuir Noir. Gave it to my husband. Not my kind of scent, although it gets a lot of hype online. I got the Vivamor 2024 sample set, so I didn't lose much money.
