Sweet Sin

My last sampling of the latest quintet from Vivamor Parfums is Sweet Sin, a sweet blend rich with peach and apricot, first and foremost, with a background of rum, resins, and tonka. I think it’s an obvious winner for fans of peach and apricot, but as I’ve found these notes to be a bit more challenging (and perhaps I’m just not a fan of them, generally), it does not immediately suit my tastes, but it’s still pretty smoothly blended, a borderline boozy nectary, syrupy, mostly-gourmand concoction that I could see many people liking. Even though it’s my least-favorite of the latest five, overall, I’m really pleased with these latest five releases. Sweet Sin, like the rest of the newest set of five, is priced at $125 for 100ml, still in extrait concentration, notably a lower price point than the standard price point of $145 for 100ml for the line, and the whole line is sold both via the house website as well as via great boutiques like Perfumology. 7 out of 10

I like this and it does not equal Bitter Peach at all. This one is very prominent in the peach/apricot, booze and patchouli notes. If you asked me I would stick to Miel Extase by Navitus Parfums or something like Dulce Diablo (Narcotica) if you are into powerful fruity boozy gourmands. Those two are perfectly executed. Just one is more honey prominent than the other. This price point is great for what you are getting. Longevity was a bit poor on my skin with a moderate/wide sillage. Unisex, but a bit feminine leaning. It’s definitely a like but not a love for me.

I bought this thinking it would resemble Miel Extase or Dulce Diablo, both of which I own and love. However, I find the peach is the most prominent note and I can hardly detect the apricot. This is fruity and a bit boozy. I can’t yet assess the longevity, I am going to give time to this baby to macerate. So far I like it but prefer miel extase and Dulce diablo both of which I find more mature and refined.

I heard comparisons to Dulce Diablo and looking at the notes I thought that Sweet Sin might be a less sweet/cloying version of DD. Firstly the openings are very different, DD is the most realistic, delectable chocolate apricot- whereas SS has quite a synthetic almost medicinal opening. As they dry down, they become more similar in the air. But on the skin the difference in the quality continues, DD is a better blend of better ingredients. But I do think SS at 1/3 the cost, is a decent substitute if DD’s price is out of range. This one is not for me though, as I find them both to be too sweet.

Similar to Dulce Diablo by Narcotica, but like the lighter version or something. Similar type of scent profile. I adore Dulce Diablo, but it's a bit heavy at times, so I think I could definitely see myself adding this one at some point, but at the same time, not sure if they're gonna be to similar or not yet. Just my first impression :)

I love this so much! It smells like an overly ripe peach ring. How can candy smell overtly ripe? No idea. But this is exactly that. The rum and patchouli do elevate this one to make it feel more grown, but it is def giving gummy candy (but in a good way).

F***ing horrid synthetic overly sweet borderline rotten fruit with just a hint of Carmex. Just gross!! I got the Vivamor discovery sets for Christmas. So far I like Caramel Pop and Choco Exclusif. Vanilla Vice has a beautiful dry smokey vanilla opening, but it turns to Khamrah after 30 minutes. But this is just DISGUSTING!!!

Just absolutely gross. It stinks, bad. I can’t even say what it smells like. Patchouli, chocolate, something that is awful.

Peach rings and dried apricots on a bed of chocolatey patchouli. I don’t really get any booze. If you enjoy fragrances such as Navitus’ Miel Extase or even Narcotica’s Dulce Diablo, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy this one too as they're quite similar.

Omg how does this NOT have dates in it?!?!?. Smells soo much like Navitus XO Brandy with added peach lol. I'm a male and i much prefer xo brandy but I feel this one is a slightly feminine take on xo🤗

I agree with the review below, I’ve had Dulce Diablo before and it has the same Tootsie Roll accord. To me, this is very boozy at first and the dry down is soft and chocolatey

A dense sweet & syrupy fruit (peach/apricot) scent. Great for people who like Miel Extase and Dolce Diablo.
