Brume d'Hiver

Brume d'hiver is a perfume in my opinión based on the rose. A bit similar to etoiles d'or but less sweet and balsámic. The opening is Also less citrussy. The rose is dry, powdery and spicy at opening due yo the elemi and the Junípero to become then mire smoky and Woody with the action of the incense and the oud. It is an interesting perfume, subtle for being and oud perfume, with a very nice rose. I would say It is an easy wearing rose/oud fragance. The longevity is good. Nevertheless the sillage is soft. I find It unisex and nice for daytime use. Scent: 7.5 Longevity: 8 Sillage: 6 Quality/price: 5 Versatility: 9 Originality: 8 Global: 8

Fábio Condé said it perfectly - this is a beautiful unisex scent. It lingers perfectly, not masculine nor feminine. My family does not usually comment on my fragrances, as I wear so many and constantly am wearing something new but I was complimented tonight by the shyest person in the house!

I was expecting something different.a sweet powdery oudy rose but honestly there's no rose on my skin at least during first twenty minutes I can smell tones of powder.as if I've buried my nose in a jar of face powder.this chalky powder is what I get mostly during first phase.not a bad smell but I hate to feel like as if I've sprayed powdered chalk on me,so I marked dislike.I agree it's totally unisex,there's also vetiver,something woody that makes this even dryer but I can't detect oud or incense which is a relief After first twenty minutes I can see a pretty floral note shining through dusty scent and coming forward from far far away.as it comes nearer I can see it's a delicate rose blended with musk and soft heliotrope.musky florals are soft and very gorgeous.they give the scent another dimension which makes me to change my opinion to like while I'm thinking perhaps the other time I try it,I would tick love After giving these new notes to arrive and settle down,it's all about a superpretty musky rose and a hint of powder and a touch of vetiver.I see this beautiful,soft and delicately powdery scent as a feminine scent It's the first time I'm trying brume d'hiver and it seems to have lots of layers so I'll edit if I could detect further changes For now it's something between ❤❤ and ❤❤❤ شروع عطر به شدت پودری هست جوری که حس میکنم کلی گچ تخته سیاه پودر کردم و دارم بو می کنم.بوی بدی نداره اما بعنوان عطر اصلا بنظرم جالب نیومد.به جز کلی پودر گچ مانند،یه چیز چوبی هم حس میشه که خشکی عطر رو بیشتر میکنه بیست دقیقه همین روال برقراری تا اینکه یه نت فلورال زیبا از دور دورا و از پشت اون همه گرد و غبار سوسو میزنه.بعد از چند دقیقه یه رز خیلی ظریف و زیبا حس میشه آغشته به مشک تمیز و لطیف.این رزمشکی هرچند خیلی ملایم هست فضای عطر رو عوض میکنه. چیزی که بعد از یک ساعت رو پوست قابل استشمامه همین رز ملایم و لطیف مشکی هست که توسط کلی پودر پن کک مانند و کمی وتیور احاطه شده. این مرحله از عطر برخلاف شروع که فاقد جنسیت بود عملا زنونه ست البته این اولین تستر هست وبتدریج هر تغییراتی متوجه شدم ادیت میکنم.اینبار که هیچ عود یا اینسنسی متوجه نشدم. درآی داون زیبا و تمیز و بسیار پودری داره اما خیلی ضعیف هست و فقط وقتی از نزدیک بادقت بو میکنم میتونم متوجه جزییات عطر بشم

Heavy agarwood and rose combination..luckely the heliothrope softens it a bit.

For some reason, I had to have this. Now I don't know why. Smells like the drydown of a generic male cologne. Woody. Sheer. Ephemeral. Enjoyable, but was it worth it? Don't know about that.

Smell like make up, wax cream for hands and pink baby lotion. Very french style talc. Nice but nothing special. So soft that probably one of the mentioned may have more sillage on you.

Very cosmetic. Very powdery. Very strong heliotrope, followed by rose... This is a miss unless you love old school powdery cosmetic florals, then you will love this!

Indeed like a winter mist, Brume d'Hiver is a cool veil of enchantment that envelops your being ever so gently. With a bright opening, the composition quickly transforms into a soft heliotrope/almond scent with smooth, cool floral accords that trail with a humming static prickle from delicate cloves and elemi. The delicate sweet muskiness of labdanum, musk, incense, violet and vanilla is angelic, pink and rosey. Feminine, clean and charming, Brume d'Hiver is a poetically etheric offering from Volnay.

It was the one appreciated the most from the discovery set. I got my sample out looking for something new/inspiration while going on holidays. It somehow didn’t work out for me. I dint know if it is how it develops on me but it ends up lacking jar money and roundness. The powdery notes didn’t blend well with other notes. The result is a fairly unique yet (to me) not attractive scent. But again, it might just be my skin.

Smells exactly like Johnson's lotion (the pink one).I like it.
