Dracula

Have had Dracula for a while now and it's absolutely stunning. Can't associate this frag with the dark legend that is Vlad the Impaler, though this is no less potent or ferocious. By an imaginative stretch, perhaps we can assume this is what Romanian Royalty use to bathe with. Opens with bursts of fresh citruses mixed with aromatic herbs (rosemary). An invigorating zingy lemony elixir but not the usual modern day citrus edt either. No vetiver or patchouli or amber to be found here. This one packs a wallop! It evolves from the fresh herbal aromatic opening to a decidedly masculine vibe of smooth freshly cleansed skin. Must be the cedar. Disagree with the reviewer saying it smells like lemongrass soap but there is a slight soapy undercurrent (but again not the typical soap element you'd smell on a present day iteration of a Paloma Picasso or a herbal lemon verbena soap, No. This is honestly impressive with good longevity and not just because of the super affordable price but also because out of 400+ plus frags in my collection of niche and designer, there is none other like it. Had it been sold by a niche house could be expensive. Highly recommend On another note - 'The conqueror' from this brand, smells identical to Arabian Oud Resala so if Resala is too heavy on your wallet, get this instead.

(1st Review): An unapologetic, lingering (dare I say haunting 👅?) fragrance. It's neither delicate nor skinlike. But even so, the notes it's comprised of aren't synthetic or chemical-y to my nose. The citruses are nice, but take a seat rather quickly for the rosemary, floral notes, green notes and cedar to come in. Like walking through a Wallachian conifer forest as the sun sets. I can agree with the other reviews that it does have moments where it smells like Old English or another furniture polish. It's the cedar for sure, but something in the perfume blend (at least on my skin/clothes) keeps it from getting too bitter or astringent. The longevity is soooo good. I experimentally sprayed it on some pillows and it lasted through the night and I could still smell it the next morning. On the skin, it lasted through a shower (not scrubbing like crazy) and in both instances the lovely warm cedar is what my nose picks up on. Price wise, really great value.

This was on a sale table at the chemist when I first saw it. I thought, “I hate to think what Dracula REALLY smelled like!” and then had to spray it. I wandered off and spent the rest of the day sniffing my wrist and my clothes. I had a couple of people ask what my lovely perfume was, and of course had to buy it. I live in a hot climate and avoid “cloying/sticky” fragrances, preferring light, fresh citrus or minty scents so this one is only a slight diversion for me. This fragrance evokes the feeling of light sneaking in through a heavily-canopied forest on a cool, fresh morning. It’s green and clean, but the earthy woods are subtly present and grounding like bare feet on a mossy carpet. The sillage is moderate... I feel it is unobtrusive but gently noticeable. I would wear this year round, but I don’t need different fragrances for summer or winter. Let’s describe this as “temperate.”

I'm visiting Australia and came across this fragrance in a Chemist Warehouse. Strangely, it was in the women's fragrance section, even though it's unisex and, in my opinion, leans masculine. I'm familiar with the brand, having previously purchased The Conqueror, so I blind bought Dracula based on the notes. I like it a lot more than I thought I would, given the negative reviews. It has an herbal-orange scent profile, which I liken to Creed Viking, but quieter, more tempered with its spiciness and leaning more into the barbershop genre. It's inoffensive and appealing. For now, with this new bottle, projection and sillage are moderate; longevity is above average. For around $20-$30, it's a steal and worth buying.

There is a contrast between the name of this fragrance and the actual scent. Upon hearing "Dracula", I would imagine a cold, dark and brooding fragrance. Really, it's the opposite. In truth, I get a very pleasant, uplifting citrus that angles towards a lemon desert type scent. It's enjoyable and simple overall. The only negative thing I can say is that it doesn't last long, unless I've just been going nose blind. Consider that I got this for a whopping $30 AUD though and suddenly it's nothing short of a fantastic value proposition. Give it a try.

I agree with the person that said smells like Eau Sauvage! Spot on. Possibly a clone. It's got that heavy citrus with a nice blend of green and aromatic notes in there. Much stronger projection and longevity compared to Eau Sauvage as well. 5-6 hours longevity. Smells like it's got a lot of naturals in it. Very fresh, summer. Get it if you like Eau Sauvage but much stronger for third of the price. Found at Chemist warehouse in Australia for $50 ($35 U.S).

I initially bought this because I have Emperor from the same brand and love it. Got it as a summer scent because of the citrus lemony opening which is delicious but unfortunately not long lasting. The dry down is woody, sweet and mysterious. Still works great on hot summer nights but I'll definitely wear it in autumn and spring as well. And makes more sense with the title. People are seriously sleeping on this fragrance line.

This perfume could not be less like I expected from the name. Instead it is a soft, never jarring unisex woodsy scent, perfect for summer, or whenever I want to smell pretty but not flowery or sweet, and without being obstructive. It's always an easy reach for me, and amazing value.

Well....the name of this fragrance, Dracula, does not fit the juice in the bottle...IMO. However...I really liked this a lot at first sniff. Lemony/mandarin with "sweet rosemary", not savory, IMHO. Cedar tones and florals/touches of green-ish aromatics....and it does have some semi-sweetness coming thru. My only negative, is that I can see some people sensing a "furniture polish" vibe.....???....but it somehow works for me. I can't stop sniffing it ! Unique, I would say. Performance seemed pretty good too. I can kinda see the vibes of Dior Eau Savage and Florida Water....yeah.... As this is drying down...that crazy furniture polish-ish vibe slowly tones down. EDIT: Oh....this is getting "greener" in the dry down....but aromatic green...not mossy green. I am loving this ! Citrus/herbal still shining. The scent does project rather well.

Skin tested today, a very aromatic smell, with a slight menthol edge of some kind. I'd say this one is leaning more masculine to me, but certainly if you have a more tested nose you could roll with it. Really full on for the first few hours I dont think as a femme I could spray this all over and feel great. Could be a nice mixer I you get it for your guy though? The citruses really come out in the end, this lasts ages though. I see citruses listed with aromatics, I'd say it's more aromatic, greens, some wood and citrusses come out later. This isn't a freshie I say at all. Gotbthis minty aromatic thing happening in a dark kinda way

Back in the 80's I inherited a small bottle of O de Lancome Pour Le Sport from my favourite aunt. The cap was a solid sunny yellow coloured plastic with the famous O de Lancome imprinted on the lid. I loved that cologne and would have liked it again but it is nearly impossible to find. Dracula definitely reminds me of it, and I wouldn't mind a bottle at all. If there's anyone out there who remembers the vintage O de Lancome Pour Le Sport, see if you can find Dracula napping somewhere.

Hi. @ployolfaction I'd have to disagree with your comments re longevity. This fragrance is bombastic. Tested it three times in different weather. I find it also a bit more multifaceted as well, but I understand fragrances vary so much on some people. This scent has some serious sillage and hangs around for ages - I find all four of this line do so. I don't looove the scents but my gosh they're excellent value for what you get: sillage, scent longevity, size of bottle. Cheers

Blind buy this perfume just because it was sold for IDR 288k (USD 18,40) on my local perfume store. Love the citrusy opening -reminds me a bit of a lemon-mint candy; before turning to a lovely rosemary-cedarwood scent. On the dry down, it smells like expensive soap on my skin. The lasting power is amazing.

Dracula! My boyfriend and I both like this on him. It is too masculine for me, but it has a nice drydown. The rosemary makes it different. Very pleasant. When the perfume arrived, I noticed a sticker on one side of the packaging that covered up the Dracula picture, and since I really wanted the box to display, I spent some time removing the sticker that was, i suppose, censoring the graphic and words beneath. Interesting.

I think I like it. I would like it a lot on a man, a manly man to be specific. I’m surprised by the unisex label. It’s not easy to imagine a more or less traditional woman saying coquettishly: ‘I’m wearing Dracula’. But it’s not just the name, it’s the scent itself. Perhaps an Amazonian warrior queen could pull it off because it’s that tough.

I wanted so much to like this and the initial spritz was pleasant enough but the sillage alone had me regretting buying this niche wannabe fragrance let alone the horrible longevity. It really is the first thing you notice, how bad the sillage is. You really have to ram your nose into your skin to smell it after 20-30 minutes and that's with a generous 6-7 spritzes. And this is meant to be an eu de parfum intense? No. I don't think so. It's completely gone within the hour. As for fragrance, it is pleasant, mostly lemony. I found no mandarin which is one of my favorite notes but I found it wasn't evolving to the middle or bass notes at all, although I did get a hit of Rosemary and a hint of greens from the beginning. I didn't get any flower or cedar notes at any time but after a while I could swear there was a cinnamon note. The change I noticed was it goes from fresh, citrus and mildly green to powdery, weak aromatic. Even though powdery is not listed as an accord it definitely lands there. As for the aesthetics, nice bottle, good marketing. Also when I think Dracula's perfume I think Lalique Encre Noire but it is nothing like that masterpiece.

Blind bought this, could not be more disappointed. It smells 1:1 like Rochas Moustache edt from 1949. Dated, powdery lemon urinal cake. With a name like Dracula you'd expect some edge, mystery, depth; nothing like that here. Just smells really dated, nothing more say really.

Smells like something you should put on a chicken. The rosemary is overwhelming.

I'm constantly on the fence on wanting to buy this fragrance, I've sprayed it multiple times in store and keep coming back to smell my arm for hours (it lasts forever) but it's also very masculine leaning, of course a woman could wear it, but I'm not sure if it's something I would regularly reach for at home. Despite the 'Dracula' connotations, this is not a dark or 'gothic' fragrance. It's citrus, rosemary and cedar but leaning closer to a woodsy fresh pine. It's like sitting in an old leather chair in your large home library with citrus scented wood polish on a large cedar desk in front of you, and rosemary growing out the open window. It's oddly addictive, and it lingers on my mind long after spraying it. I may one day commit and grab this bottle, just so I can keep coming back to it.

This is fairly high quality for a $40 fragrance. First hour it’s all rosemary and citrus and then musc rosemary and woods throughout. Not a loud fragrance but stays on the skin for 6+ hours . This is definitely unisex and suitable for the spring and summer. It’s a really dark fragrance and can’t help but think if they added a soil note this would of reminded of the zombies in Tombs of the Blind Dead either way the fragrance as it is reminds me goths at the beach. If you are after a dark summer time fragrance this is it. It’s worthy of a blind buy at this price point.

I really like this one. It is definitely strong and projects. You get a rosemary note but it’s not herbally. It’s a cedar rosemary and i also get a patchouli vibe but it’s not listed.
