Magnetic 70

Wooow... this is a really successful piece. Fresh and woody, smoky gothic, dark forest scent. Earthy vetiver, dark woody notes, resin and balsam, but never sweet! That's the beautiful part. This might be the most atmospheric and best piece I've tried from this house. I'm also getting an ozonic feel here, but for some reason it doesn't match up with the notes at all. There's a feel like rain falling on smoky wood. Stone walls, an abandoned cathedral, sorrow... and plenty of sad trees. Superb! Heads up: the frankincense in the drydown is pretty heavy. Loved it at first sniff, as I was immediately greeted with something similar to French Lover, but with a smokier twist. But after further wearings, I began noticing more cedar and more incense. So much, that it started reminding me of Bois Marocain. Though, the incense is overall gentle and smooth, it may be a bit overwhelming for some. As once the French Lover vibe dissipates, you are left with mostly incense, cedar, cade oil, and vetiver. Iris and Elemi soften out the edges beautifully, but neither overwhelm. A gorgeous delicate scent that sits somewhere in-between the aforementioned fragrances.

This is a woody, metallic scent that commands control and decisiveness. This is my “I want to feel powerful” scent, my “I want to ace this work presentation” scent. It’s also perfect paired back with a classic pair of denim jeans, canvas sneakers, a white t shirt and a blazer. Definitely get your nose on this, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. (For reference: I’m a mid 30s woman, I love wearing this and feel it can be unisex)

Oh from this brand - this one stands out. Fresh cut grass.... Spring... it's beautiful but weak, so make sure to reapply. Also you will be asked about what you are "wearing" It is nice and fresh, but not out of a box, so please make sure you let this one "AIR OUT" It becomes very nice throughout the day.... subtle and fresh. I want to say I love it, but I think I just like it. It is very nice.

Reminded me immediately of Ebene Fume, a tad more feminine and more frankincense. This one is an easier one among the 6 vyrao scents.

Beautiful scent (spicy, woody, smoky) that's ruined by absolutely atrocious performance. 20 mins in and it's barely perceptible. Unacceptable given the price point.

Blind bought this after sleeping on it for a really long time. I was over the moon at first but quickly turned extremely disappointed the moment it touched my skin. Something in the dry down turns terribly sour on my skin - I have the same problem with other scents by Lyn Harris - it must be from some base ingredients she likes to build upon. A quick fix would be to spray it on my garments but honestly the scent itself feels overly done which doesn’t excite me much. A hard pass

When I first got the Vyrao discovery set, I’m not going to lie, I was not impressed. I found most of the scents fleeting, flat and uninspiring. The ones that intrigued me from the start were Witchy Woo and Georgette. I could feel the same vegetal DNA in all of the scents, something was bothering my nose. It was all too hippy for my personal style when I go out. I do consider myself a spiritual person though and Magnetic 70 felt like a spiritual experience to me. It was actually a scent that grew from hate to love. The first time I tested it, it almost felt skanky. It felt bold, dark and mysterious but I didn’t enjoy it. Something made me test it again after a few days and although it wasn’t the kind of scent profile I was usually going for, I weirdly felt very protected wearing this. I felt strong and brave and like I had a shield around me. What came to my mind, in an almost instinctual way, was “Women Who Run With The Wolves” and the Wild Woman. Magnetic 70 felt almost primal, raw, empowering, bewildering, nourishing, protective and of course...magnetic. This matches amazingly with Eau Duelle by Diptyque a cult classic that feels very magical and special to me.

This is the scent of being on a rural beach at sunset walking on the sand dunes about to enter the woods. There’s dry beachgrass surrounding you, the sand still warm from the hot day. There’s a subtle dewiness and aquatic quality from the salt air. This is a comforting dry woody smell. It’s like the scent of a sauna. Very unique and definitely a cool artistic person type of smell. Fashion editor, or stylist. Androgynous. Longevity is pretty good. 6-8 hour wear. Sillage is moderate, my friend could smell it strongly on me for the first few hours, without it being overpowering. If you like the scents in Aesop, this is the scent for you.

This is absolutely my favorite of the 5 Vyrao perfumes I tried. It’s alluring and mystical, somehow spiritual, like being in the forest. This is the one I would full size if I felt like the price justified it. I am a sensitive person with certain perfumes, but I still like a little more tenacity to my perfume and Vyrao goes a touch too gentle for me personally. I love all the notes in this one and feel it does evoke attraction and protection and I think I could probably recreate this with a spritz of Fog by Henry Rose with a few rolls of The Herbalist roll on by Heretic.

This definitely smells like a Lynn Harris fragrance. Even if I didn’t know she created it I would have said this bares a strong resemblance to Perfumer H fragrances Ink and Frankincense. Really nice, but the latter have a bit more power to them. Smoke and balm in dusty green tones.

When I tried this I loved it. I wish I owned this so I could wear it right now. Maybe my favorite from Vyrao
