I have Irish family and I knew this was the one I wanted to try the most. It opens with a definite coldness, I like the description of an Ice rink and it has that cool, metallic element with snow covered fir needles, it lasted so long on my skin whilst keeping the cool note throughout. A really unusual and clever scent.

Unfortunately, this fragrance was a disappointment for me. On a blotter it really does smell like cool, frosty freshness, like a spring morning in the forest, when the sun starts to melt the ice that formed overnight, everything turns damp, and the scent of pine becomes piercing. On my skin, though, there’s no winter fairy tale at all. A dull juniper with metallic nuances reminds me of something from household cleaning products, like a strong antibacterial spray. I really missed some oakmoss and bite here

This sounds like the rebirth of the idea behind Aspen by Coty. (and i mean that in the best way...even with all the fancy crap i have, i still love my vintage Aspen.) The whole cold forest or mountain air concept and whatnot. This sounds interesting for sure
