My Fair Lady

Absolutely beautiful. I am entranced. On my skin it plays as a celestial shower of exquisite pink petaled damascas roses framed by a riot of delicious juicy mandarin oranges. An armful of bold violets appear, blooming freshly on a well-mannered, but regally seductive amber that secures them all in a warmly sensual embrace. This is a tender, warm, dreamy, distinctly English garden on a lazy summer afternoon. I detect no detergent like odors, no musty cloyingness or overly sweet rotting, candied fruit. This fragrance strikes me as being for a genteel woman of the 19th century. It brings to mind Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolitle in the movie musical “My Fair Lady”. It’s just Loverley!

My Fair Lady starts as a citrusy/rose/violet fragrance. It's a very light scent and pretty much smells like this throughout the fragrance. I liked it but the scent faded very quickly. Too bad Washington Tremlett doesn't have this in an EDP strength. I didn't smell any of the amber in this, must have been very faint.

what can I say about my fair lady? It's exactly how its name suggests; classic, in its best way. Indeed it's my favorite violet perfume. It starts with a sweet candy like violet scent. Almost paradise! Even though violet never completely fade away, after a while rose and powdery notes become more dominant. At this time, it gets more classic. Still it is very innocent and feminine. It reminds me of lots of a very classy young lady in an elegant dress in a light-pastel color walking in flower shops in a spring day. It's somehow light, but as the same time can not be ignored. I like the way it is almost there, but not screaming for attention. highly recommendable for all fair ladies.

I tested this perfume this morning, as I am looking for a rich floral to fall in love with. It smelled lovely in the shop. I thought I'd see how it behaved on my skin during the day before giving it a definite grade. Well... by the time I parked my car in front of my house, it was gone. A sad but definite fail. The fragrance lasted less than an hour on my skin.

nella piramide manca, secondo me la peonia!! infatti questa meravigliosa e ben equilibrata fragranza fiorito-speziata mi ricorda stella mcCartney...il fondo però qui risulta meno ambrato e con un tocco di violetta ,che lo rende più talcato e romantico. Un vero profumo da graziosa signora...
