Dear God, this is good! I only have a partial extrait bottle because it is so hard to find and very pricey when you do. But good lord. For me, this is what vintage fragrance dreams are made of. It is hard to find a fragrance that is on par with vintage Shalimar in terms of depth and utter gorgeousness, but this one just might be. It's just the deepest, smoothest, lush rose bolstered by a spicy resinous base that is so rich it's almost like leather. The musk and civet are so lush. Most of the top notes I think are gone from my bottle, but I am getting the ghost of the citrus and lavender wrapped up in that same powdery, cherry almond-like sweetness in Zibeline and Secret de Venus. It's not too sweet. Now I know why it's so rare.

Stick a fork in it THIS IS PURE DIVINITY in a bottle in the oil form! PERFECTION in my humble opinion! I own nearing 3K frags nowadays & 90% of my collection being vintages, I can/will NEVER HAVE ENUF of Weil Cassandra .... again .... OIL FORM most preferred! I've aqcuired a couple of the Vintage column flacons of the pure parfum and thos quite expensive and yes, lovely NOTHING COMPARES to THIS frag in OIL form. B4 any perfumista [ especially those whom appreciate DEEP, boozy, resinous, ambery, vanilla, bourbon, rich, heady, skanky scents] leaves the Earth, Weil Cassandra MUST be experienced! I have never b4 shared this, my deeoest frag secret. Bcuz I admit to being selfish in not wanting to attract competition for the rare offerring that comes along anymore :( But, w/COVID a reality & my awareness of my own mortality, I am beginning to understand MY OWN FAULTS that may damn me to hell, LOL. So alas, I am now sharing this, my deepest, most hidden fragrance secret in the hopes of spreading the Love in the BEST WAY I KNOW HOW to the world of even strangers. EVERYBODY needs a lil Love , right? So, if you ever have the opportunity? Do YOURSELF A FAVOR & LOVE YOURSELF & secure at least a sample to experience Heaven on Earth Ur welcome fellow fragheads, LOL

I have a tiny bottle of this scent, no telling how old it is, but it's certainly many decades since this was sold. Strangely, it's labeled as lotion, but there's no mistaking it for anything but eau de cologne. The perfume may have turned, but it's still quite nice - aldehydes, a bit of spice and maybe some florals are what's left. Makes me wonder what Cassandra was like when in its prime.

This one is a lush floral rose. Moves from sweet to spicy, over a smoldering incense base- a very romantic perfume with a forceful presence.
