Turkish Delight Shop... Imagine a confectioner's shop in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. As you watch Turkish Delights being made you marvel how the scent fills the shop in a way that reminds you of a bakery. Confectioner's gel of starch and sugar with chopped dates bound by the gel, flavoured with cinnamon, and dusted with powdered sugar. These are not your average Turkish Delights that have travelled thousands of miles in a cargo hold or relative's suitcase to reach you, these are the real deal! Fresh and still warm, their pillowy softness blanketed by powdered sugar that hasn't yet settled. You will never eat Turkish Delights any other way from now on. Reviewers have got it right with the top 5 rated notes imho: cinnamon, dates, amber incense & vanilla. Overall: gorgeous sweet-woody-cinnamon scent. Some find the performance strong but I may have been partially nose-blind to it, although it seemed like my bottle benefited from dark storage after initial sprays to improve performance. Even still, it was love at first scent for me. Enjoy! Contrast to Organza Indécence Givenchy: A reasonable similarity between these two - if you like one you will probably like the other. Suki Essence has an oud note, and is more balsamic with a root-beer lean in the drydown, but the sweet-woody-cinnamon vibe is the same. Update 07/17/24: I wore this a lot last year, but not lately, and I sprayed it two sprays to the back of my hand this morning. The performance continues to improve, and woody aspects from cinnamon & oud have come a lot more forward now, which increases the similarity to Organza Indécence imo. This isn't a beast mode scent and more of a medium sillage with excellent longevity for me (persists even after a shower). It's possible to wear year round although the scent profile leans holidays/cooler weather. I will probably reserve this for cooler months. Still a love.

My friend didn't quite care for this fragrance and gave it to me since she knows I love perfume and have quite the collection. I have a lovely mirrored 5 shelf display my husband made for me which sits within in the wall where I display my best looking bottles. This bright yellow bottle stands out so I feature it on my display unit. When I first tried it on my skin I wasn't too fond of it. Someone said it was similar to Obsession by CK and perhaps a bit. I didn't quite care for obsession either. After having Suki for more than a year just sitting there for display, I decided earlier this week to give it a try again. However, not on my skin but on my linen. I find there are numerous perfumes I like to spray on my sheets and blankets but not on myself. I found this scent absolutely wonderful, soft and delicate and very lasting. I then gave it a try on my clothing and I absolutely love it and it lasts all day. It's cold now and I get the most wonderful whiffs, sort of creamy and balmy. I have never seen it in stores but it's been a long time since I've stepped into a tj maxx which is where my friend bought it. I'll be on the lookout or just order it online.

I cannot believe this fragrance isn’t more popular! I absolutely LOVED it at first sniff! It is sensual and intoxicating! It is warm and sultry. It is sensual and sexy. Very exotic and different than any perfume I own. I feel like this perfume is timeless, it is all at once, vintage, classic and modern. I sprayed it to test, on the back of my hand in my car when I bought it. The scent wafted to my nose all the way home on my 45 minute drive and I couldn’t stop bringing my hand to my nose to inhale deeply. It is 90*F so I hopped in my pool and floated for about an hour and a half, with my hand in the water much of the time and I can still smell it strongly after getting out. I don’t feel like this is just a fall/winter fragrance, although I can’t wait to wear it in the colder months, but it can work for summer too. The notes all blend so perfectly together for a sultry, slightly sweet, creamy scent that will work perfectly for a summer night out.

I adore this, a very good blind buy for me. I've always loved amber scents, and I'd agree with other reviewers that you must be an amber lover to appreciate this one. She's dry yet sweet and resinous with spices and a kick of citrus to open. I don't get much of the smoke/incense but the resins are there representing! Great sillage, especially for the price. Nice and cozy, I enjoy spraying all over my pillows and blanket before bed. This feels summery to me, like August sunshine, so I won't be waiting until winter to spray with abandon. (I think a nice dry amber is great in summertime.) Strongly resembles Halston Woman Amber. I want to try 5th Avenue Royale to see how it compares after seeing it mentioned by another Fragrantican. Update: it's October; the incense note seems more noticeable in the cooler, drier Ohio weather we're having. I love Suki even more now!

The best, most unique cheapie of ALL TIME! It’s very polarizing, either your chemisty makes it bloom, or sour. The date note can be chocolatey/figgy or earwaxy if it doesn’t. But, I find Fragrantica is great to match folks with similar chemistry through their favs to see if their favs might work for you. Medicinal scents like this pull the natural sweetness of my skin out without making it gourmand. But likewise, during hotter months my skin turns gourmands into diabetes 😵💫 Other weirdos you might enjoy if you love this include: Gucci Rush Dior Addict Tocade Feel free to message me with any other fudgey herbals! This fragrance is one of my best blind buys. It caught my eye at TJMaxx for only $12.99 and after seeing it was selling for over $50 on line I decided what do I have to lose. I checked the reviews here that were all positive and I love amber fragrances, especially in the cooler weather. The scent is amazing. The amber is beautifully blended with the cinnamon, vanilla, date, plum and rose.The dry down is a gorgeous incense on me. I love it so much that I'm going back to buy another bottle plus another scent by this company that I saw next to this one since the quality of this scent is crafted so well!

I find myself reaching for this often, preferring it's seductive charms to most of my fancy pants bottles. I get the similarities with Organza Indecence and Mitzah, it really is good enough to be listed along side those gems. Performance is fabulous, both in terms of projection and longevity. It's rich and full bodied yet not too heavy or cloying for the warmer months. Worth blind buying if you happen to stumble upon a bottle, you won't be disappointed!

This is an amazing cheapie that I bought for $17 on eBay a few months ago. The sunshine colored bottle, the heavy glass, the dry, soft, vanillic spicy juice - all of this is feels like solid quality and is definitely worth more! I think the market has corrected itself since I can't find it under $50 anymore. I hope it has not been discontinued. Highly recommended to the oriental lovers who are looking for an everyday cold weather fragrance.

Upon the first spray, I was sure I wasn’t going to like this but after a few minutes the fragrance really developed into a gorgeous warm, spicy, vanilla (my favorite type of perfumes). If you’re like me, oud is something that I rarely like except in the form of TF oud wood. However, this is a perfect amount of oud for me! Not barn yard at all! This sits fairly close to the skin and lasted around 7 hours on my skin.

I absolutely love this fragrance, to my nose it's very similar to Ambre Sultan, if you like oriental resinous sweet and mysterious scent, go for it, i blind bought it and this is one of my best blind buy ever. Longevity and sillage are average but it's not a problem for me i love to reapply it. It would be wonderful on a man <3

This is an amazing cheapie that I didn't expect to like as much as I do. It's warm, a little powdery and very comforting. It smells a bit like the scented erasers we used to collect as kids or bubble gum, but without being too artificial. Dry down is spicy and a little incensy. Look forward to wearing it in the colder months.

Suki is a tie between old and new.. a fruity plum opening into a candied rose with incense. Unique fun wear for winter. Top notes: Bergamot – Plum – Date Heart notes: Candied rose – Cinnamon – Incense Bottom notes: Amber – Cistus – Oud – Vetiver – Vanilla Lasts a long time and moderate sillage. Warm, modern and cozy.

OK, I wouldn't say it is a dupe for Black Cashmere, but I would say that if you love B.C., I believe you will like this or even love it. It's rich smelling, sexy, and it projects. You'd have to love incense too, which I do! I'm quite impressed with this. And at this price point, you may want to give it a try.

Plum, dates, cinnamon, incense, and one jelly bean - oh my. I smell like I'm eating fruitcake in a humidor. A successful blind buy! (so I am 1 for 10 now). No oud for me here; To my nose it is a deep clove-like oriental scent - not sure why it is classified as a floral woody musk.

Words cannot describe how wonderful this fragrance is. It's my signature fragrance and absolute easiest reach, I have 4 back up bottles already. Unisex. Moderate sillage with a moderate intensity from 3 to 4 sprays all over, under clothing. 12h+ longevity.

Prices on the Weil Essence line have shot WAY up. Get them while you can still afford them, I guess. Try Halston Woman Amber if you like Suki. To me they smell almost identical and the Halston is still around $20.

I really like this one. It is incensy in the right way and not very sweet. When I am in that mood sometimes I layer it with sweet perfumes like dalal for example to add more spice.

Just too good! I keep buying backup bottles. Suki is warm sunshine, a desert breeze, fresh-baked baklava, a honeybee. I can't get enough of the dry sweet smell!

Suki Essence by Weil is a very interesting little number. Not one that I would gravitate towards because of the cinnamon note nonetheless I am glad I purchased it. The opening of Suki smacks your senses with a blast of citrus then dry fruits followed by cinnamon. Suki starts quite zingy but the spices soon follow and I must admit that this part is my least favourite because at this point on my skin the fragrance turns really dry, dusty and a little salty. Thank goodness this stage does not last very long only about an hour or so. After the hour mark the incense comes on line and things get better from then on. The rose,incense, cinnamon and amber really come together very nicely and I feel like an Arabian Princess somewhere in Persia on a beautiful warm evening. I agree that Suki does have the Ambre Sultane vibe but I feel that Suki is easier to wear because it is less intense and more subtle when it comes to the spices. Sillage is soft but longevity is rather good 8 hours or so. In the dry down sweetness from the cinnamon and the dates come through but it not sugary. The final outcome is a skin scent of soft amber with a hint of smoky incense and sweet vanilla. I am sure Suki is not going to be everybody's cup of tea but for lovers of amber and balsamic perfumes it is definitely worth a try.

Weil, Weil weil, this doesn't smell cheap, plum,Oud and incense and candied rose are notes in this in its bright yellow bottle. I sense that Oud is in it but I can't make it out,nor candies,but as I've mentioned before I smell only a few notes not all. It does seem to be Nag champas second cousin as it's definitely relateable. (My nag champas seems lighter) myself (ageless) and stepdaughter (18) tried it and smells similar on both of us. We're sharing this one and planning to try it on her father too. It's not as long lasting as I thought it would be, and it's nice to try on a grey May day, despite it being a seemingly winter scent. I wouldn't wear it on hot days. But we liked it, and s/d is happy to smell like her step mum, and vice versa.

Agree with review below...a interesting take on both modern and classic style fragrance. In the beginning I get plum/date-ness...while underneath the balsamic vibe,then for some reason I get a touch of herbal-aromatic-ness too.Sweet vanilla/amber opposed to woody/balsamic/labdanum type vanilla/amber.The sweetness rises but is subdued by the other interacting notes. IMO,this is a "different" type scent ...I cannot think of anything to compare it to...???...The drydown is actually quite magical......This is one you have to let evolve with your chemistry before final judgement.I think this was a great blind-buy for me....so far..so good... Edit: This has the vibe of Givenchy Ange Noir....same family/type/vibe..and not a dupe/clone of.

Wow this is strong. An initial string blast of bergamot quickly turns into sweet, warm, spicy cinnamon and incense. As it dries it becomes sweeter, and a touch of oud and vanilla start to come through. The oud doesn’t last long, and the dry down is just delicious sweetness with a warm spicy feel. So far this is amazing for the price, quite an unusual combination of notes and a complexity that I didn’t expect. Worth getting to try if you want to try a sweet incense and oud scent. Unisex. Edit: lasts 24 hrs as a skin scent.

oooh yummm yummm...it's been a while since my golden days of amber fetish but now I'm like...what happened to me? Suki essence is borderline gourmand, it starts off with smoky dates floating in caramellised amber, drizzled with madagascar vanilla and cinnamon. Bit later on, the shavings of lime peel save it from trodding into the treacherous territory of cloy-land. Subliminally sensual, it's plush and it purrs. Beyond the hour mark I get the plum notes too... very very interesting. headed to TKMaxx now, adios friends!

This is such a good cheapie blind buy. I think I paid 12.99 for this at TJ Maxx. Warm smashed spicy ambered dates. The cinnamon is prominent but not in a harsh or edgy way. Reminiscent of a sweeter Obsession or Must de Cartier. What's nice about this one is that even though it's warm and spicy it's not *huge* like some spicy scents, this is one I would feel comfortable wearing to the office. So it's not beast mode for sure but sometimes that's what you want. Super cozy and not overly sweet. I really like it.

Yes it has an incense smell to it. But it's so dry, like an old incense stick. What I thought was interesting was the juxtaposition of the design which is so bright and minimalist with the type of scent it is. On me it stays on the wrist and that's it. It has no wave. And I like these types of scent but this is a no go for me. But at the price of 15usd, it's a good deal if you want to take the gamble. Scent on!

This is heavy, and I've come across a lot of people who've reeeaaally disliked it when I've been wearing it 😂 I've also had a lot of compliments! It lasts all day, and after a few hours it's a very perfumed, deep fruit incense but it's not smokey, so it's description is very accurate to what you get! Would be suffocating in summer but this is a good autumn, winter, and maybe rainy drab spring day scent.

Wow. Just blind bought this in tkmaxx. What a find. 17£ - everywhere I see it it's at least 50. It's like Ambre Sultan / Mitzah to me, super rich amber / balsamics. I'm in love with this! This is the kind of blind buy I wish for everyone. Though the listing of notes on the back bottle did help as I'm a huge amber / date / Incence / vetiver fan. :)

this one starts with a lot of bergamot/dates and incense/labdanum. it's smoky, slightly sour and powdery from the amber. i don't get much sweetness, just a dry smoky incense with hints of fruits. very nice for cold weather.

I swear I smell a hint of citrus in the top notes of this. I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance, since I don't usually go for spiced scents. This one is soft (but not weak) and very pleasant.

I loved it two years ago. It reminded me of incense and seduction. Yes, quite decadent. Now I feel like cinnamon is the most dominant. Did the recipe change? Is it just a batch?

Not close to the vintage Organza Indecence, imo, maybe the new formulation but that I wouldn't know. This is quite dry, the amber is my favorite note, but I also get a hint of ylang ylang or banana flavored candies especially in the opening, which makes it feel warm but I'm not sure I like how it's trying to blend with the dry resins, cinnamon, and amber. The sweet note sort of floats above lost and confused. Perhaps it's the oud that I don't like? The drydown Reminds me of Tom Fords Amber Oud. I get a little incense it's quite beautiful. But the overall composition feels dry but sweet, incensy but fruity, for me the notes do not love each other. I want more smokiness and vanilla, where are the dates? Less oud and banana candies please. But perhaps this could be someone's perfect "cup of tea"!

When I got a sample from my friend who has introduced me to this fragrance I fell in love with the plum in it. It had that mysterious and sweet but not overpowering smell. So I got the bottle. It was extremely cheap - 100ml for around 10 pounds and I am very disappointed. It smells nothing like the sample I've had. It's watered like Coke in McDonald's and within 30 minutes I can't smell it anymore. Not sure if it's a new formula or a bad batch but it's a wasted potential.

Changing my review from 2 weeks ago. Now I love this. Not cloying. Definitely warm, sweet, sexy. The myrrh/frankincense is nice and fairly unisex. Not strong sillage in case you wear it by day. Like a more subtle Opium.

Amber powdery complex unique. I can only wear it sometimes in the right mood. It’s a specific scent.

don't get the hype about it, it's really good if you want to smell like a pure incense, wolud definitely recommend Elizabeth Arden- 5th Avenue Royale over this, its much more complex, has incense note ,it's smokey and leathery ...lovee that one, price is the same, at least in my country. In Suki l cannot smell anything besides incense, last fairly long but I don't like it as much, not a safe blind buy in my opinion.

A light, ethereal amber-woody-vanilla-oud. Purchased today @ TJ Maxx for $12.99 with a sister fragrance, 'Greedy Essence', by Weil. Blind bought after checking reviews on Fragrantica before grabbing one to go home with. As I type this review, its bugging me which of my perfumes this one reminds me of, it smells so familiar. It is, to me, virtually linear and doesn't change much from the initial spray. The first few minutes just get fainter, and fade softly into a skin scent. That said, it is still a lovely scent. Unobtrusive, even shy about stating the fact that it is still there, hovering, just barely detectable. Ok, I think I know now what this frag reminds me of: Memoire Liquide's 'Encens Liquide', but with remarkably less depth and less of the resinous goodness that Encens has. It also reminds me of an incense I have by HEM, "Church Incense", which has frankincense and myrrh in it. Perfect for Christmas-time, or anytime. Overall, a nice, safe scent. Would I purchase again? Yes, if I find at the same price. One of my best blind buys.

I am so dissapointed with this one, I don't love it and I don't hate it. It is not really working for me....I was so intrigued when I blind bought this because I love, love vanilla, amber, incence, wood and overall it looked in theory a very good choice. I am not saying it it smells bad but there is no chemestry with my skin...i don't get any top notes...and on my skin it stays and dies on the middle notes, fading fully buy the time it should reach the notes I most enjoy and bought it for. I can only get the tiniest bit of incence and something sweet but not in a gourmand way but rather cloying and sickening...like eating raw sugar with a spoon, I think might be the candy or jelly beans or whatever they supposed to be. I get a incence stick vibe (i love incence sticks) but one I don't quite enjoy. On my skin lasts 30 minutes...i would say definetely needs to be reapplied during the day. Super cheap however. Very sleek nice bottle, a pop of color. I think I will use it as a home fragrance, just to spray it around. Won't buy it again.

A gourmand Amber...cinnamon, dates, rose, the rich oriental spices of an exotic bazar, and a hint of incense...a dreamy enveloping scent that will conquer any amber lover! Suki Essence is quite unique, however it can be compared to Organza Indecence: if you like one you will probably like the other. Suki is more balsamic and has a faint oud note, but the sweet-woody-cinnamon vibe is the same. The Oud in this one reminds me of Raghba, and I can also catch some resemblance with Youth Dew by Estée Lauder and with Lutens Ambre Sultane. This is definitely a scent profile that calls to mind the Middle East and its beautiful rich opulent delights! Smelling it brings to mind the thousand and one night legends and makes me almost feel like I’m flying on a magical carpet... Projection and lasting power are great. I’m reaching for this one a lot...I definitely recommend it if you can still find it for a decent price (under 20$)

Suki Essence Weil was a blind buy, in my search for a "perfect incense scent".For me, perfect includes LOW PRICE...(at least on blind buys).In 2023, its easy to find this online for $20 & less. So price was not a problem. I do not recognize many of the listed notes: cinnamon ,rose, plum, or date. Unfortunately I DO recognize that SUKI smells very similar to a cologne my father wore some 40+ years ago!! (he passed away at 81, in 1996,) so that scent memory is not really allowing me to desire to WEAR this myself. That being said, after the first 10 min.,the scent softens a bit. It is smokey & pleasant, and now and again I get a whiff of a softer powdery incense, but it's fleeting. While I don't find Suki offensive, there is too much of a familiar mens cologne vibe here, to ever warrant a second purchase. Recommend for an inexpensive, non-offensive, boys/mens cologne.

I reviewed this about a year ago, see below. My bottle continues to mature. Today I experienced it as a powerhouse bordering on hypnotic. Not that it's so rich, rather it's transporting. There are many nuances to inspire the senses and imagination. The dry down is pleasant resiny incense, not complicated, and the molecules are permanent until washed off. Price for this particular scent has tripled, as noted by swedishmilk15. I checked today and the two other Essences are still cheapie priced online in Europe but this fetches up to and over 100 Euro. 2/24 Edit - well, a year later and it's back to 25 Euro. Good times!

I just recieved this beauty from Amazon. Was very lucky because it is starting to get hard to fine. Im a collector of fragrances and the notes really intrigued me. WOW.. Its beautiful. Warm and spicy but not to spicy. Though new back in 2016. It seems it going to be a timeless scent. So blended. I feel it has enough sweetness for younger age abd spicy to ground you for mature stage. Slightly rich in Incense for even a Gentlemen to wear. Unisex yes for sure. This is very unique. And right form bottle its amazing. No maceration needed. But if it does get richer in time " what a gem it is going to be more".

Un commentaire disait que cela rappelait l'encens nag champa avec une touche d'anis, c'est tellement vrai, après d'une peau à l'autre cela peut jouer différemment mais sur moi c'est exactement cela durant un certain moment, ensuite ca reste encens mais très agréable ca me rappelle joop femme que j'apprécie aussi, donc c'est un gagnant pour moi la bouteille est belle mais je déteste la couleur criarde lol .

Something about the opening of this i find rather nauseating. If I wait about an 30 mins to an hour, I don't mind the dry down. Smells like a nag champa inscense stick or a hippy shop. I am not getting any chai tea like others have mentioned. I wish I did. Not a smell I want to have radiating off of me on the regular. Not sure if I will bother holding on to this one for that reason. I don't know I will give it one more shot. Not a bad scent for a rainy or cold day curled up on the couch with a book, if you can stand the opening.

Modern update of a 60s, 70s head shop aroma. Suki is not musty, stale or moist. I like the dryness - which allows it to smell clean the way fruits and spices and resins smell wholesome in a souk in a hot sunny town. It has an aromatic side in the first half hour. In my opinion it's very evocative of desert cultures, real and imaginary, without any skankiness or anything too sophisticated or voluptuous or just too much. Despite being an oriental, Suki is sunny and upbeat. I prefer the top and mid to the dry down.

Where to start? It’s not Mitzah. I get that it could fall in the same category but it is not the same. This has a cinnamon I can feel on my tongue. Literally. It’s very strong. This is warm and lovely, equally wearable by a man or a woman. It has a feel of Prinknash incense, the one with storax, only with a big big Amber and some dried fruits added. It also reminds me somewhat of C’est la Vie Patchouli by Lacroix, if you enjoy that, there’s a good chance you would enjoy this.

A wonderful cross between old and new tastes. Vintage essence with modern sensuality. This is classic - Not for lovers of sweet fruity or aquatic flavours. I love it. Warm sexy Ambery Cinnamon Oud mix. A combination that makes the Jasmine and Rose take subtle centre stage in the drydown. Close sillage and good for all seasons. Will be more of a stand out in cooler weather. Amazing that it avoids being cloying. I actually smelt dates! Bravo Weil xx

Worth the tiny spend for the dreamy, creamy, balsamic dry-down. If you’re missing the last gasps of Organza Indecence on your skin or C’est la Fête Patchouli this may help you get your fix. Yes, it’s weak. Yes, it hasn’t got much projection. Yes, it’s not a groundbreaking scent. But it is a really lovely warm amber scent. Balsamic, cinnamon with a light touch of incense.
