L'Amour Absolu Extrait de Parfum

After the first spraying, I thought for sure that there should be cranberry in the top notes, but no, the « taste » of sour fruits is given by the plum and spices. The unripe plum is beautifully wrapped in a silky vanilla cashmere duvet. Almost immediately to the cozy softness is added a slight boozyness with smoky notes of incense, which is actually not in the pyramid, but I can feel it anyway. The base of the perfume is definitely woody with a slight camphorous scent, cherry tonka bean and the warmth of vanilla amber. It's overall beautiflly boozy and ambery, but not sweet. Total unisex without deviating in any direction. Even if I feel something that is not in the pyramid, it is absolute love. Definitely stylish and work-friendly. Will go very well with total black outfits.

This immediately reminds me of Bouquet Ideale. I actually prefer this. For some reasons, BI is more woodier and smells a bit dusty, may be due to tobacco blossom? L'Amour Absolu is definitely boozier, cleaner, and brighter, but still has depth to it. The cinnamon is slightly heavier to my nose. Maybe that's why Angel's Share was mentioned in the "Remind me of" column.
