I imagine the brand of Wesker's creative process in creating this perfume possibly went a little like this, "Let's make a perfume that smells like what we would ideally imagine royalty to smell like". Not exactly how they would have smelled as they probably smelled like B.O., drugs, taint, stale piss and powders. But instead hypothetically how you'd think they'd smell based on the fact that they were "Imperial", royals, high-class individuals who you expect might've had better values than you or I in hygiene habits . This fragrance is an artistic journey and remarkably unique, things you begin to value after smelling so many fragrances as a hobby. It is for lovers of the powdery, soapy, and overall 'clean' fragrance category but this one smells realistically clean. There is no doubt that you will most likely get "dryer sheets" from this fragrance as that is exactly what it smells like in my opinion, but instead it is the whole Laundromat and it is so well-done, photorealistic and addicting. I love the smell of freshly done laundry and the warmth that is always customary of clothes removed from the drier, and this smell that I enjoy so much can now be worn while people comment "You smell so clean today" Thanks 🙏 😊 . It is a cherry scented 'dryer sheet' possessing a waxy cherry sweetness at the top. That cheeky paper accord!! I can tell something does smell a tad like pulpy paper through the power of suggestion. Like the waxy, fatty, sometimes carrot-y, white smells evident in natural violets or orris oil. There is almost the smell of an overheating handheld power tool. A slightly sharp metallic smokiness that smells smoothly blended and not scratchy - as some unintentional metallic facets can become. Wesker's Imperial begins to obtain a buzzy or hazy texture that feels energetic, pulpy and artificial in an alluring and purposeful way. In my opinion, If it smells industrial, it is supposed to. If it smells synthetic, it is supposed to. Almost in the same conceptual idea as the Molecule line. The brief describes that the smell of iron from the structure of a beauty's fortress should be present, as well as the scent of a perfume from a precious bottle in her chamber. Imperial matches this artistic concept very well. But it is understandable if this becomes off-putting or too bold for some. I love how unapologetically industrial this smells. My best description would be avant-garde but balanced. A truly artistic fragrance and it is all intentional. In my opinion it is a calming profile because of the laundry-room starchiness it has. Industrial facets are understated, smoothed out and muted within the formula. 9.5/10 During a return home for thanksgiving the mom stole my sample. I had to ask for it back.

A confident attack leaves no doubt as to how extraordinary it is, the clover flower assimilated into the green laughs as it melts into the jam-like mass of linden honey, biting jasmine tears dissolve in the sunshine, almost sticky, but only until the yellowish-purple, increasingly purple odortitans appear, the mimosa pretending to be calm and the violet basking in its innocence, which pulls bitterly into the ground but triumphs in delight, while losing its innocence in this dramatic composition, as the dreamy intro is devoured by an iron furnace, and the scent of cobalt green cannons pours down on us, there is no other solution than passive resistance, which scrapes the ground, flowing like lava, sucking in the crisp parchment, all impregnated, stiffened canvas, the surface rustles, shuffles, whispers and gasps, drowned in green, burning bitterly, burnt flower petals lie beneath our feet. We are dealing with a richly sultry and extremely heavy composition, saturated with hot sweat, lights bursting through the soapy sky bounce off our burning skin (naturally, screams rise up) while our epidermis breaks off in greasy layers, cherry-blood-soaked, glass-frozen flowers and dark-forged cream stripes lift the dark folds...

Imperial IS one of the BEST and more intense Violet perfumes I have ever tried. Although violets with its floral and powdery character are the protagonist here, imperial has also a very noticeable fruity side with tasty and very pleasant cherries in the opening (It is like a Big sister of Lost cherry). The drydown is powdery and creamy with lovely almonds. Something interesting is that all along the performance It has a very metallic marked character The performance of this fragrance is just great, as all the Wesker collection fragrances, lasting more than 13 hours on my Skin with a noticeable projection the first 5-6 hours. If you’re looking for a “laundry scent” that is so much more than a typical laundry scent, Imperial is it. I love the composition here–It is elegant and comforting, with many gentle nuances that make it more interesting than I expected. I feel warm, connected, and profoundly pleasant when wearing it. I can tell it’s going to be an easy one to reach for. If you're in the market for this kind of scent, it's definitely worth sampling, at least!

cotton clean... i am stunned of how beautiful this blend is! although i am an animalic lover, but this blend here is just overwhemingly beautiful! it has a very balanced notes, beautifully mixed... It has cotton, violets, linden, clover, almonds, suede, and ironically hot irol! It's very airy, and very cottony clean.. Beautiful.

It's a not too heavy or sweet cherry scent to me. Starts with a bit sour cherry and mellows down to a smooth powdery almond. As if you just opened a box of iced almond milk into the glass. I am not sure if it's good for summer, but I like it and I can use it for most seasons.

Even though I prefer this over Angel’s Dust by FB, they smell kinda the same.

The baby opens with a delicious chocolatey cherry. It fades after 15 minutes, and then you get the laundy aroma that to mee, smells too much of chocolate. Smells of dry cleaners with you eat milk chocolate. This has a crazy projection, it fills an entire room. It leans feminine since it's quite sweet, the flowery smell comes down to fabric softener with floral aroma, it does smell like cotton. Very interesting aroma, I like it. Just not sure if I like it enough to buy a full bottle since I'm not a clean laundry scent girl. I tried Musk Therapy, and didn't like it because of the laundry aroma. I like this one better

Light, airy, clean and metallic. Its reminiscent of fresh laundry. Occasionally I get a whiff of something fruity like cherry. Its a safe scent but its not impressing me.

Strong spicy incense. It may be just slightly on the masculine side. It has some complexities and the individual notes are hard to pick out.

A definite violet with initial bright notes that I mistook for blackcurrant on opening. There is a certain quality here that reminds me of the gaseous, jammy adjacent character of No Way To Say Goodbye from Lush. Maybe it’s the litsea cubeba and bezoin? Violet is usually not for me, and such is the case here. I am also clearly allergic to this one.

Watery cherry juice, sweet honeyed mimosa, atop a bed of an indiscernible medley of florals. I enjoy the almond-cherry opening, but the rest of the journey is a little too vintage soap for my personal taste. Interesting, but not particularly memorable.

As much as i really wanted to like this, it really just smells like powdery violet. Lowkey reminds me of raid spray

It didn't convince me. On me it is very heavy metal the first 4 hours with lime, sour honeysuckle, sour cherry, with pleasant whiffs of mimosa, lily of the valley and dark wet violets that become more bitter with time. All about heavy wet cotton and laundry moss with a vintage, feminine and mature touch that whispers for the next few hours. On my skin the drydown is long, bitter and rustic. I can't pulverize it.

All I smell is sour cherry and some soapy floral. It smells like the pink soap you'd find in a stuffy old lady's bathroom, which is decorated entirely in pink (including fuzzy toilet seat cover and pink toilet paper) and of course she has a bowl of potpourri somewhere. I generally like "clean" scents but I find this one really aggressive.

This is just lovely and not what I imagined. It opens with a brief hit of cherry which is gone almost immediately. Then follows a melange of cotton and powdery flowers. After a while it settles into a very honeyed mimosa and what smells like freshly ironed cotton. It is an unusual combination. Occasionally I get a whiff of hot iron, like walking past a busy laundry. Then it reverts to the mimosa cotton combo. In the drydown, the linden blossom becomes more prominent. The fragrance is nothing like laundry dryer sheets to me because there are no aldehydes or musk. It is sweet, powdery and cottony- full stop. There is not much variation over time. It is lovely for spring or summer. It is a clean, comfortable fragrance which leans feminine due to its sweetness. Sillage moderate and longevity very big 8+ hours.

This perfume reminds me to La Petite Robe Noire- Guerlain but in a better way. Not sexy , not sensual , it is sophisticated and elegant. When I perceive this perfume , I get lavender and violet colors with white silk floral patterns, between Victorian and Versailles styles blooming in my mind. This is the perfect choice , If you want a perfume in order to achieve a clean-floral-mild sweet accord with delicate powdery undertones. This perfume is romantic , like a very special and intimate gift for yourself or for someone that you have met for years and you know that person deserves confidence, true friendship and treasures that can’t be acquired by any price.

Dainty, soft, a bit musky, and just BEAUTIFUL to sniff at. The wattle/mimosa play off each other, and the cherry, whilst minute, pops up here and there and really makes this scent work. It does remind me of one of the Amouage Opuses (Opera?) as well as Skymning, and a few other scents here and there, but by and large, this is quite a beautiful, well-done scent. I probs won't be taking this any further (because I have something quite similar already), but I definitely recommend it...
