I thought since it being a woody gourmand fragrance that it would be similar to Billie Eilish #2 & I was right. It has this clean woody smell like the cardamom & patchouli is dominating & it reminds me of a freshly washed cable knit sweater after a warm clean shower. However, it lacks the vanilla & ebony that would make it a yummy gourmand. Overall, I love it because it’s very reminiscent to Eilish #2 & the dissonance that fragrance brings.

Wow, a lot of hate on this fragrance! Fragrance preference is subjective but I absolutely love this scent. I get in moods where I want to smell like a tree and this is the exact scent I'm going for. I usually hate patchouli but it blends so well with the sandalwood and cedar. If you like fruity or florals it may not be your jam but if you go for more woodsy and natural scents, you may dig it!

No idea why everyone is saying it smells like pickles. I'm obsessed with the woodiness and the fig and cardamom notes. I am definitely ordering a backup bottle. If you hate le labo santal - AVOID THIS.

great blend of notes! settles into a gentle fruity woody mix. the patchouli isn't overpowering but adds a great green note. on me this performs as a great "my skin but better" perfume.

Just got this in yesterday with another fragrance and i will say this perfume starts off for the first 40 mins this is very strong and spicy probably the fig or cedar but once that dies down it gets into powdery and creamy scent followed by the coconut water, throughout the day i would get waffs of sweetness reminded me of the -target- dupe jungle santal as if there was some type of tea in the fragrance Going to play around with this one somemore in the future for a better review i will say the opening is tuff but you guys can handle it i know it sucks waiting 20+mins for ur fragrance to truly shine but this one isnt one to avoid just because of reviews 8+hrs on skin for me and still on my shirt strongly 8/10 for me would buy again

Instantly gave me Santal 33 vibes, which I love. Woodsy and clean from the sandalwood and cedar. Mineral, light creaminess from the fig and coconut water. The cardamom is there, giving it a little green feel. I wasn’t impressed at first but after wearing a sample a couple times it grew on me and I ordered a full size bottle. Modern and sexy IMO. Very unisex. My fiancée liked it on me and he usually likes when I wear sweeter, more feminine scents. This might be a pass if you only like tutti fruity sugary and super floral dominant scents, but who knows. I find myself reaching for this everyday.

I sprayed this on myself and immediately said “ew” because I had no idea what I was about to smell and didn’t expect such a woodsy scent. After letting it settle for a few minutes, I came back to it and decided it was actually very well done if you’re looking for a woody frag. The creamy fig balances out the harshness of the woods. It’s certainly unisex— lovely and masculine at the same time. Worth checking out for sure if any of that sounds up your alley.

This is a great unisex sandalwood forward fragrance that would be easy to go from day to night. Not too overpowering that it assaults the senses, and could easily be layered with other fragrances if you wanted to lean more fem or more masc. The packaging is cool, will look great on display, and a really nice addition to any collection especially for the price. If you like Le Labo santal 33, this is a safe buy for you.

I think this is a very unisex fragrance. I pick up a creamy green fig most at first, and a nice easy to wear sandalwood after dry down. I don’t get any coconut myself and the patchouli is light to my nose, because I don’t like patchouli bombs. Still way too warm to wear this out where I live, but I wasn’t going anywhere today so pulled it out. Will be perfect for fall

I’ve seen the travel size and full size of this in TJMaxx. I own Santal 33 and can say this is similar. I don’t get the fig at all, definitely more sandalwood and cedar. I’m not sure of the longevity or projection. If I hadn’t owned Santal 33 already I would have considered the travel at 12.99. Perfectly ‘ok’ dupe if you don’t want to shell out for bucks for Le Labo.

This should have been called Philosantal lol This is Philosykos with sandalwood to my nose. I definitely get fig leaf rather than fig (I grew up with a fig tree in my backyard). Nice woody unisex fragrance with a dry greenness.

Goes from nasty stink bug woods to a beautiful summer hike on a southern california trail. Try not to judge this fragrance until the dry down. It smells similar to kkw Nude Soleil if it was even more concentrated.

Clean green slight fruit patch is coming through thought it would lean to fem but is right in the middle

I sampled this when I was at Ulta, and my first reaction was that is was dry, woody pencil shavings. However, a few hours later, I was smelling this AMAZING smell and realized it was 001. It smelled like driftwood. I can't tell you why I thought pencil shavings were mediocre but driftwood is heavenly, but it became softer and less sharp. I checked the notes and was surprised to see fig, as normally that's a note I can't stand, but I loved this scent. When I saw that the bottle was on sale, I quickly bought it and the first two times I wore it, it smelled amazing. Then the weather went from 95 degrees to about 80 and now all I smell is a cloying fig against a woody background. I'm putting it away until next summer, and hopefully I'll like it again. But if you love figs, you could probably wear it almost all year round

Interesting choice to be the first scent. Fig and woods. Along the lines of philosykos' fig w soft cedar woods- Def unisex. Not memorable and not for everyone. What was I talking about?

Conceptually, it isn't clear that this is trying to be between the fragrance itself, the name, and the bottle, and even the sellers website is not helpful. There is an unsettling herbal aspect to the scent, probably dirty patchouli. While I don't hate it, this is something I would never wear.

Unfortunately, this smells like artificial pickle to me. Especially when you first spray it, and it's strong. You literally can't smell anything else until wayyy after it dries down, and even then, it isn't great. It's like a woody cologne, but the pickle is still there. I brought a sample to several of my friends because I was just bewildered by how bad it was and most of them got pickle from it, too. None of them liked it. We all agreed that it kinda gives some lumberjack in a red flannel vibes. The type of dude to walk around eating a plain pickle lmao. Maybe some people would be into that

This was the worst perfume I have ever smelled. My daughter put it on and started coughing and I thought she was being dramatic. She was not. She ended up going into the bathroom and scrubbing it off. The lady who worked there said they'd all tried it when it came in because they loved the bottle. They all couldn't understand how anyone would enjoy it and said it was horrible.

My boyfriend is obsessed with this, it says it smells just like the workshop and wood shavings. He's threatened many times that he's going to steal it for himself because he's so addicted to it lol Edit: loved this on my wrists but sprayed it for the first time on my neck last night and it damn near almost killed me. Very strong. Headache inducing. Beware.

It’s fitting that the bottle looks like concrete, because this smells like an old dirty basement. I guess they’re trying to be edgy but they missed the mark because this is disgusting.
