Electric Soul

Finally. A perfume that hits at full voltage. I was coming out of that post-flu anosmic blackout, everything smelling like damp air over wet cardboard. Then this thing showed up and kicked the door in. No gentle fade-in. Just a defibrillator with attitude. Like, get up. So yeah, I bought a full bottle immediately. And a travel spray. When something drags you out of sensory death like that, you don’t play hard to get. You give yourself away. Found it by accident, which already feels right. A random vial from an advent calendar by Who Is Elijah. Barely any noise about them on Fragrantica. Suspicious. Either people haven’t caught up yet, or they’re gatekeeping it. Or it’s on some parallel Australian timeline. Also, no one seems to know who Elijah really is. But I have a theory. The branding just gets it. Minimal. Charged. No try-hard poetry passing for depth. Nothing but tension. And the juice is purple. The color of royalty, insanity, and the kind who’ve been called “too much” and turned it up two notches anyway. That tracks. First spray zaps. That quick, electric snap. Pink pepper, pear, raspberry, but not in any sweet, edible way. Fruit under current. Sharp, fizzy, borderline rude. Like catching an insult you weren’t meant to understand. You don’t just smell it, you flinch. It snaps your posture into place. Makes you want to move. Do something irresponsible. The name’s annoyingly accurate. I hate when marketing is right. Then it shifts closer. The peach comes in, bright, fleshy, indecent, right on top of that salty, skin-like musk. You get the florals, jasmine and rose, but they’re not performing. No manners. No soft-focus. They stay underneath while the fruit and that almost-sweaty musk take over. This isn’t pretty. It presses warm against your skin. Slightly sticky. And here’s the best part. This is where it turns. Because I’ve always had this thing: how do you stay mysterious when you just won’t shut the fuck up? The answer is you wear something that makes people forget what you were saying in the first place. You’re talking, laughing, letting it run, and they’re looking at you like they’ve lost signal. You become both overstimulating and oddly difficult to pin down. Loud and still somehow out of reach. A contradiction. With projection. The performance is just as unhinged, in the best way. It stays. Evolves. Clings. All day, easily. And then it’s still there the morning after, quieter but not gone. And yes, @matt1605 is right. This would be a problem on a man. But not the clean, polished type. Not the one with a routine. I’m talking restless. Wired. Slightly feral. The kind that moves too much, stands too close, disappears, then comes back. And every time he does, you catch it again, and suddenly your brain’s in overdrive. Put this on and you could revive a dying situationship out of sheer biochemical confusion. No guarantees it lasts. But it’ll definitely move something. This is spring. Probably summer too. Possibly my new baseline. Doesn’t really matter. It’s just there. Doing what it does. Detonating rooms. Same. 5/5. ⚡

Opens with vibrant, sweet, fresh juicy fruits (pear and raspberry) and a spicy, pink pepper rose with delicious dreamy and sensual amber, a little pinch of salty musk and a hint of powder. I am absolutely in love! As it settles into the heart it becomes a fuzzy peachy, woody vanilla scent, a trace of floral, with the salty musk and amber still there but less apparent. As it dries down further the sweetness dissipates and the amber really warms on the skin and there’s flickers of dry, slightly spicy woody rose and salty musky fruits and a delicate puff of powder. There’s a very faint whiff of a burnt metal and rubber in the dry down, like the smell of hot brakes and an angry clutch.. and I love it! It’s sensual, intriguing and intoxicating without being obnoxious I really like this perfume. The opening is absolutely beautiful and it dries down into a lovely sensual and intriguing perfume. My only pause for thought is that it leaves my nose craving a little bit of the juicy fruits in the dry down. Will defo test drive again on a date night.

I remember trying this while waiting for my flight, and blind-tested this specific one purely because it was purple lol Initially on my skin it was light and sweet. Didn’t think of it much so i walked around the terminal to pass the time... but then I sniffed my wrist again and was (very pleasantly) surprised to be hit with a spicy-sweet, somewhat woody accord. It’s a little powdery but not in a harsh or obnoxious way either. Will likely save up and buy a proper bottle later

Oh I LOVE this. The name electric soul is cool but the scent itself it’s actually quite dainty to me. It’s got great longevity and smells “pretty”. It’s a beautiful floral with hints of juicy fruit throughout. I definitely get the pear and raspberry notes. It’s the type of scent that no matter what time of year, day or night, I can always reach for it.

This fragrance has been a very pleasant experience. I received this fragrance from an online sample subscription, and I too was drawn in by the purple liquid, but I can't say I was disappointed. This fragrance has a wonderful scent, giving a nice fruity opening but drying to be an elegant floral scent. i give this fragrance a 8.5/10.
