Not sure if I love or hate it, it’s not for the faint hearted that’s for sure. First hit of this fragrance blew me away a little. It’s noticeable and very alluring. I made the mistake of also spraying Wall Street afterwards and my nose is completely overwhelmed in what might perhaps be too much of a good thing, whoah. It’s spicy, leathery, smoky but also soft, inviting, seducing. I think this may be too much for me! This could very easily be oversprayed for sure. Just one tiny pull on the trigger is enough.

A delicate soapy rose scent with a deep, spicy undertone. This is the 2nd fragrance I have from Who Is Elijah. This is for one of those girly days when you just need good old fashioned feminine vibes. Definately not masculine. It's addictive. I keep wanting to sniff myself when wearing this. It's a complete 180 to my usual choices in rose fragrances, but I love this. A sort of modern twist of an old fashioned scent profile. Beautiful ❤️

Underrated fragrance. Bang for buck this is great value if you’re looking for a genuine unisex rose scent. Just the right balance between the notes to keep interest and the dry down has the hint of masculine woodiness to keep us menfolk engaged. Quickly becoming my go to for chilling days when I want to be subtle. If I want to project more I layer with Wall Street for that anamalic shout. Give it a go!

Rebel Rose is the gentler younger sister to Portrait of a Lady. A rosy turkish delight, saffron, pepper and incense combine to gorgeous effect. Whereas in autumn and winter Portrait of a Lady has the fire to keep me warm, in the spring and summer I change to Rebel Rose to get a softer but similar thrill. Wear this with a red dress and you'll feel like a latin beauty on heat.

A really good rose there, feels like a black tea+black pepper+a little patchouli hint and huuuge heavy rose. the rose here is not watery, I could not say it is dusty like D&G Mysterious Night One but somewhat close. This fragrance has similar DNA to Masque Russian tea. Unisex, great for men, any casual evening/date

This perfume is amazing, I absolutely love it. My daughter wore it today and all day I got gorgeous wiffs of it over my own perfume which I don't normally smell anyones perfume over my own (I'm at oversprayer) I'm silently hoping she goes off the scent so I can add it to my collection 🤞🏼

Really nice complex spicy rose, perfect for colder autumn days. I don’t like it that much when it’s above 20°C, but it shines when the temperature drops. Average lasting power.

I'll be working my way through the "Who is Elijah" range, after picking up the discovery set. First up, this one was heavy on the patchouli on the test strip, On the skin however, this thing jumped heavily into rose territory. Feminine leaning but still unisex, an intriguing fragrance. Rebel Rose starts strong, 6 hours later I'm still getting traces of musk and vanilla but it has definitely faded. Overall not a bad scent.

idk what yall are talking about but this is a more tame rose wood fragrance to me it wants to be edgy so bad but it’s a very basic cleaner version of leather tobacco patchouli rose. like it dries down to be a very light woody rose doesn’t empress me it’s like a watered down version of bulls blood

This is a really nice scent. The beginning is quite strong and a bit heavy on the oud/rose which reminded me of Oud Satin Mood. After a few hours of wear the rose is still quite strong, but the musk and violet notes come through and give it a lighter, different accord. I really enjoy this scent.

as a lifelong rose hater, this is one of the most tolerable rose forward fragrance and tbh the first rose that i’ve smelled in my 2-3 years of collection that i actually liked, this and MP odeon are actually the top rose frags out there

I like this one! This is a lovely, soft, powdery rose with a hint of patchouli. Reminds me of baby powder, Turkish Delight and incense all in one! That's not a bad thing imo.

This isn’t the kind of fragrance I usually wear it all, but surprisingly, this one is my favorite out of the ones I have tried from these people.

Warm, woody, sweet...but not too sweet. Perfect date night scent.

Pretty: Powdery rose, soapy, vanilla, musk. Monster: amber, smokey hotdogs. So they seem to use the exact same cheap hotdog/chemical smoke accord that Maison Margiella loads up in By the Fireplace ect? Nothing like real incense, more like burning tires or chemical treated wood. Gives me a splitting headache and severe nausea. A pretty scent turned into a nightmare.

A strong incense smell, sweet and woody but still a strong smell. This one and nomad are the best from the discovery set, but would not re-purchase even if it was less than $10.

A nice, fresh, spicy rose. However, it’s a bit too soft to have much of an impact. And by soft, I mean it disappeared on me within 45 minutes.

Unless the revolution begins at the bingo hall this is all rose no rebel. I can hardly pick up the spicy notes at all, it's just powdery old lady rose to my nose. It's a shame because spicy rose is one of very few ways I usually enjoy a rose note :/

I wanted to like it, the notes said i probably would, but there's something nasty hanging around like a Cool Water undertone that i can't get past. Fingers crossed that that evaporates but it's still going real strong an hour in.

Initially loved it at the store then got home and realised I actually hate the entire Who Is Elijah range that I sold all of my perfumes from them. They’re all just SO synthetic! Yes they’re strong which is what I initially loved (so that’s a plus) but I can’t get over how disgustingly synthetic they ALL smell. Even my boyfriend hated them all.

I am not a fan of rose. But if you ARE, and want the vibe of traveling with an old floral carpet bag on a train, This is your jam.

After testing the entirety of the Who is Elijah discovery set, it is somewhat ironic that the fragrance I left until last was my absolute favourite. Rebel Rose is a gorgeous peppery rose fragrance with a sweet musky and vanillic drydown. The rose accord in this composition is slightly sugary and super feminine, and is surprisingly quite musky but not in a way that is unpleasant or overwhelming. Rose fragrances are a bit of an acquired taste, and you only have to read the previous reviews to get a sense that this perfume isn't for everyone. I love that Rebel Rose smells of antique roses and has a slightly more modern twist with added sweetness, pepper, oud and musk. For me this is a near perfect rose fragrance. I am assuming that is a dupe of Mancera's Aoud Exclusif, (a scent I am still yet to smell). If Rebel Rose is anything to go by, Aoud Exclusif is a fragrance I need in my life. Several reviewers have suggested layering Rebel Rose with Wall Street, also by Who is Elijah. I can imagine that blending the two fragrances together would further amplify the rose accord across both compositions and deepen the oud note. Rebel Rose has decent projection and great longevity on my skin. Despite some initial intensity during the first spray, it very quickly settles on the skin and has a pleasant sillage cloud that I would consider inoffensive. I would most likely wear Rebel Rose during Autumn and Winter as it does have a warm aroma, especially with the pepper and oud. I do look forward to exploring this fragrance's layering capacity and wearing it more over the coming months.

I had to come here to review Rebel Rose after receiving quite a few compliments on it. (Disappointingly this rarely happens to me, (despite my rather extensive collection of designer and niche perfumes, most of which are a good few times more expensive than this one.) But there you go, it seems this fragrance was made for me! I've been told it's attention grabbing and alluring. I love my rose scents, so no problem there, but if you do not I would probably not recommend. I adore the spicy, dark, dirtiness of the other notes, which complement the almost old-fashioned Rose so well. I feel strong, powerful and sexy in this scent. Only have a 10ml at this stage but I will be purchasing a full size at some point. Side note, this goes so well with Wall Street too, for more of a masculine edge.

- Soft, slightly powdery or musky sweet rose with a pinch of spice and leather. The leather is more like suede, very supple and fuzzy; it’s not sharp, strong or overpowering. I think this is a beautiful fragrance and it’s my favorite in my collection of rose perfumes. This is worn by a women who, in her teen and college years, was the drummer in a Guns and Roses coverband but now just made partner at her law firm. She’s no-nonsense and a bulldog in the courtroom but on the weekend she tends to her garden and loves to go antique-shopping at thrift stores.

This is the one that stood out for me in the discovery set. Haze is gorgeous, but doesn't last. This one is still going hours later. Rose is a tricky one for me. I'm not a fan of fruity roses and I'd love a lipstick rose, but I'm yet to find one that doesn't go unbearably musky. This is reminds me of Calligraphy Rose, but much softer and less oud dominant. CR was beast mode, this one isn't, but it still has presence. Edit: okay, this one does lose its potency after a few hours. I'm glad I only bought a 10ml.

VERY spicy rose and leather opening, has a bit of a kick and may some turn people away. All of the bite leaves as it dries down and incidentally so does most of the rose, and you're left with the labdanum and amber imparting a resinous incensey sort of fragrance. Not bad but performance on me is not good at all.

As a rose lover this is fantastic! The rose in this is stunning, it's slightly spiced, but it's not too much which I love. I dont know the fragrances it's compared to so i can't comment on similarities but if you like rose this is hands down one of the strongest rose scents I've used

This is a classic patch-rose with prominent leather and wood. I enjoy it. It’s not a new profile, by any means. Unisex. Overall, classic and enjoyable. I love the opening spice, veers smoky.

Sample here, I like it, to my nose smells like Fahrenheit Dior! I need to try it again,I just feel is very light but I will try it again soon,but as a smell it's lovely:-)

This perfume smells to me just like the incense Nag Champa. Kind of sweet, very smoky. This leans feminine to me.

No. No. No. this is the worst perfume I have ever smelt. Strong toilet cleaner ... made me feel sick!

Very nice feminine scent. It smells like strong rose tea with wildflower honey to me.
