VOYAGE, DOWN TO THE DEPTH OF YOUR SOUL _______________________________________________________ As I read the first line of the description to: 'AJ ARABIA III', I knew it was more than true. I had today the pleasure of smelling this little jem for the first time and ever since I tried to put in words how I felt about it... and now I know. AJ ARABIA III takes you on a journey down to the coils of each human being. The human soul has it's dark and light notes, it's good and bad moments, and AJ ARABIA gives you a glimpse of it all from afar. The fragrance is fresh and sweet (mint/vanilla & Patchouli), luminous and dark (bergamot/oud), soft and rough (sandalwood & leather/wood) - all compressed into a larger picture and AJ ARABIA III lets you have a look at this picture. Longetivity: - 8/10 Sillage: - 7/10 All in all: 10 out of 10 points -> just like beauty, the most interesting part of this picture lies within the eye of the beholder and, by all means, it's worth the look!

This is the perfect summer Sandalwood infused with lime hints of mint. Its a perfect balance of soft Sueded leather enhanced with the most beautiful Sandalwood note. I can't complain about any aspect of the fragrance. Longevity is 9 hrs projects beastly and leaves a silage trail a mile long.

Creamy Sandalwood very well blended. I don't feel the Oud note in this unless they have used it in a minimalistic way to give that feathery smokey vibe this fragrance have. Sillage and projection are not beast but this is obviously a scent for an elegant gentleman. Thumbs up!

Black III is fresh and sensual at the same time with its notes of bergamot, vanilla and sandal. The dry wood heart notes reminds me of my childhood. This fragrance transports you back in time and attracts all your senses!

This is a superb fragrance, woody, minty fresh all at the same time. The leathery drydown is out of this world. I kept getting whiffs of the drydown 8 hours later. Leans more masculine, all around 5 star rating from me.

It is pleasant and at the same time, very peculiar, the cold mint mixed with patchouli, earthy and cold? I have not decided what my thoughts are, I am experiencing a dissonance. At the same time, this would smell lovely in the air on another person, luxurious, expensive smelling. I would rock it at a specifc occasion in the spring at daytime, I conceptualize a walk in the park when the sun has just hit the cold air. This is a fresh breeze. One thing to note, the leather in this supports the mint-note by expanding this coldyness, also very peculiar.

An interesting but ultimately unsatisfying Oriental fougere. The scent opens with notes of mint and bergamot. The brief heart is a leathery cedar and the perfume soon settles into a bed of oakmoss, vanilla, Sandalwood, patchouli and slight Hindi Oud. Masculine and somewhat muted the scent has moderate projection and good longevity. A somewhat in between scent and not hugely exciting but worth trying for men who like discrete Orientals. Enjoy!

This is green and woody scent, it leans towards masculine scents. All I get is a combo of mint, woody notes, smooth sandalwood and patchouli. Super-smooth blend with good longevity and above the average projection. It has zero sweetness and zero oud. Quite versatile and totally safe.

Reminds me exacly about ”Lacoste Cool Play” from 2006. But on steroids ofc. It’s an ok scent, but i think its one of them that has to grow a bit on you before like it.

The first few minutes I loved the scent, then I’m not sure what happened....within 30 minutes everything went south. Once the top notes burned off, I either disliked the drydown or I developed nasal fatigue. There’s something in the mix that smells like synthetic motor oil. This probably wears better on a man’s skin. On paper, the notes looked promising: I’m a sandalwood fan, enjoy mint, citrus and vanilla, and like woody accords. Leather can go either way with me, and that note is what I’m ultimately having trouble wearing in this composition.

Again another poor performance from the widian black line almost no projection and lasts 2 hours on me.

Not sure why there is so much dislike for this scent --- it is perfectly acceptable. While it didn't blow my mind in a way other fragrances do it is a really nice daily wear. I loved the pop of fresh citrusy mint at the top. Dry down becomes a more leathery affair. It is pulling up to the circular driveway at the club. The valet opens your door and smiles acknowledging your sillage as you alight from the car. You walk through the lobby, your scent trail follows as you enter the brightly lit restaurant. The hostess directs you to your table. You meet your friends who seem a little brighter as you join the party for a 3 hour cocktail lunch. Just another lovely day in a beautiful life.

Amazing masculine opening, smooth and unique, instant home bringer but it's not a classic. Different Mint than the fresh bright Granada Mint, more of a Mint Noir type situation, irresistible with solid calm to it, surely not conceived to be obsessively used. Serious, important, ellegance galore, the most non broad appealing from the Black line, initially, year later understanding the perfection of it more and more. Sophisticated, got layers to it, drydown is something else on this. Personally kept III and IV like for the later purchase, on a *save the best for later* tip? Worth the waitness trough the roof.

Surprisingly harsh, this reminds me more of a Nu_Be scent than anything from the Lattafa line. There’s a chemical called Isobutyl Quinoline that’s often used to get a leather effect, and it’s way abused in this perfume. A totally unbalanced leather/cardamom/rubber effect — I can’t imagine anybody would want to smell like this. By far the roughest that I’ve tried from this line, and certainly not one for the timid. It belies both the blingy bottle as well as the faux-Arabic chic aesthetic.

Each time different actify that Aj Arabia Black III Widian, did the 50 people petite live event venue, stays masculine but get the almost Plum Jam cake gourmand, dark Plum with perfect amount sweetness this time, ceiling-high complexity with the 'night out' feel to it always. And paired with 2 full puffs of the du Bois beast mode PM, adding the potency, the realest Leather to it, the extra class, trying to see how it fits the overall ocassion. It's a movie.

Bergamot, mint, incense, bitter, dewy green notes, earthy patchouli and lemon scented cleaning supplies. Something very recognizable that I really can't pinpoint in here. This is way better on paper for once and doesn't play along on my skin all that well unfortunately.
