Chanel exists to please everyone; Widian exists to dominate. This is my second purchase from this house, and it’s crystal clear now: they don’t just make perfumes, they create wearable art. The ingredient quality is brutal. The scent opens so naturally and richly that you instantly realize why this is a top-tier perfume house. There’s none of that cheap synthetic harshness; everything here is polished to perfection. It’s layered, deep, and incredibly luxurious. When you put it on, you feel like the most powerful person in the room, and the best part is that people notice. The compliments are non-stop, and everyone asks the same thing.What really blew me away is the heart; it smells like a luxurious bouquet of rose and lavender, but with an unexpected twist of caramel and patchouli that makes everything creamy and deep. On my skin, the dry-down is the best part—smoky tobacco, warm ambergris, and a hint of vanilla. It’s not overbearing, yet it lasts for hours and leaves that sophisticated trail that everyone notices As for longevity, I don't even need to waste words—this fragrance knows no limits. I have been wearing this fragance yesterday and i had very different feelings during the whole day about this perfume. The opening is amazing... I thought "oh my good!" I have found MY PERFUME! But the the time gone by ant It went into the first dry down and It was more like... Ok...It is nice but...does It really worth the price? Because It turned a lot more generic for me...similar to lot if perfumes... I think the main image in my head was rose prick by Tom Ford, although that one is a bit less Green & creamy and much sweeter! Meybe It could be rose prick mixed with herod by parfums de marly...The time continued and some hours later It was only a skin scent...a very nice and good skin scent but with no projection and without leaving any trail... So... I dont know... The scent is great, a caramelized rose, sweet, creamy, very pleasant... But what i am not sure about is if It is really necessary to spend 5€/ml for this perfume... It would be great for half price but i dont know if It gets my quality border for a fragance with this price... The fragance is floral an sweet so good for night and not too Hot weather although It could be worn at daytime because It is not intrusive at all. Unisex... I received a sample of this in a swap (thank you Rachel!!!) and this is the perfume I always needed, but would have never known about / encountered otherwise! My thoughts echo other reviews prior to mine, the aromatic rose /juniper/almost gin-like opening is so alluring, and the dry down is cozy and contains that warm/fuzzy feeling that a PERFECTLY synthesized scent will give you. I only get hints of rose (a la Tom Ford style rose- deep dark and delicious) , but so well blended that it falls still into the unisex category. The dry down is effervescent and almost champagne like, the high end modern trend of fragrance meets a dash of something powdery from another time. The price feels only semi justified for the juice, I do believe the performance is up there with The GreatsTM️- but this is not so unique in composition where if you have Tom Ford rose prick, Parfums de Marly Delina, and Chanel chance EDP pre reformulation- you’ve worn this fragrance in several parts already

Hinting not overpowering, the rose is faint and mixed in very Nice, it all blends together to form a sweet core not overly sweet The Base is sweet vetiver, ambroxan, the ambroxan and The lavender make this learning masculine and The rose and soft sweetnes gives it a unisex vibe, the vetiver used in new york and London are very much present in the entier lifespan off The scent Its strong and projekts like a monster, funny playfull mix off naturals and chemicals to create a vibrant homage to The city off new York

Most refined scent I've smelled! To begin with I'll say you should let this fragrance macerate in order to fully see how good it actually is. I've had it now for over a month and I'll say it matured so much. Opening I smell a laid back rose with some amber and light spices. If you smell it directly on skin you will smell alot more of the rose. But in the sillage you will fully smell this masterpiece. It changes from this rose dominance to a caramel with sweet citruses and slightly musky. I cant say too much about it since you really have to smell this. Its super unique and works for both men and women. It projects really good for 4-5 hours and afterwards sits on your skin the whole day. 10/10 fragrance!

This is the first truly daily wear fragrance i've owned in a while. Not to say that I don't own anything versatile at the moment, but this is the first one that feels perfect for that work/school atmosphere. It's very pleasantly masculine, projects just the right amount to get a compliment but not fumigate the entire room, and gives you about 6 hours of really good performance. I suspect I will love this more and more as it cools down and I can really start to appreciate the scent profile more as I find that aromatics in this range do better with heavy jackets and cutting winds than anything else. Great pickup and easy to recommend to anyone wanting to start moving beyond the traditional designer DNA.

This is my 2nd Widian, the first being Banyas was not one I liked particularly, but my Ex took it gladly. This on the other hand has changed my view on Widian completely; this is such a smooth, versatile creamy floral musk, that reminds me just comfort. It sits there creating a gorgeous aura around you, it doesnt feel like it's projecting a lot, but it sure as hell is, and I do not know how it creates this strong aura yet not overpowering, it's just perfect. I've fallen in love with so much that I wand to grab WIdian Black I and Granada. I will update more after a few days wearing.....

This was a successful blind buy. I found a deal for under $200 and bought it soley based on reviews, and the entire time i was waiting for the fragrance i was having regrets and doubts, but when i first sprayed it, i was so relieved. I’m looking forward to wearing this fragrance more often and updating my review later. This is signature scent worthy; very likeable, versatile, and interesting. Strong too! Reminds me of Abraj by the Spirit of Dubai, they don’t smell alike but would probably be worn in similar instances, nice “western appealing” middle eastern fragrance

This smells like a very niche smelling designer fragrance. It’s mass appealing, has an ambery, woody ambroxen base to it. It opens up aromatic with a Juniper like a gin and tonic freshness and dries down into an oriental with the sweetness and resins. This is a very good fragrance and one of the best from Widian, just because it isn’t a one dimensional fragrance, it has many different stages of development. It helps that it smells great too.

Update a few weeks in: it is so good that it is hard for me not to wear it at least once a day. So hypnotic and gorgeous! Another stunning scent from Widia. So complementary yet different from London. Deep, complex, gorgeous from the get go. The dry down is extremely rich but not cloying or nauseating.

The review that said this is a more refined version of Arabians Tonka really stuck with me... ...you can really smell it in the dry down... ...New York is 1,000% better though and smells natural where Arabians tonka smells like a chemical explosion 😂

This fragrance is realy good and addictive. Widian New York is like walking in to a sweet bakery shop, but not to sweet. Even my wife stole it from me the other day. :-)

New York by WIDIAN sits in the same general olfactory family as fragrances like Erba Pura, Amber Oud Gold Edition, or God of Fire. All of them share that bright, fruity character. The difference is that New York handles the fruit much more gently. The fruity note here is soft and controlled, not loud or overwhelming. With the others I mentioned, the sweetness can sometimes become very intense, almost a blast of ripe fruit that, to my nose, leans a bit too heavy and occasionally even a little feminine. New York feels much more balanced. The sweetness is toned down and the fragrance sits comfortably in a unisex space. The best way I can describe it is the Goldilocks comparison: not too sweet, not too sharp, just right. If you enjoy this fruity style but want something more refined and less overpowering, New York is definitely worth trying. Still, I would recommend sampling first before committing to a full bottle. Scent: 8/10 | Longevity: 8/10 | Projection: 7/10 | Overall: 8/10

A very metrosexual, cosmopolitan, complex, and modern fragrance. There is a lot going on here which might be off-putting for some people but keeps my interest going. The blending is not as crisp as London and Liwa. It starts off with a fresh fruitiness coupled with a slight spiciness. I get the juniper berry from start to finish, (think MFK's Gentle fluidity silver). The geranium, lavender, and rose start to appear shortly afterwards and there is a sweetness to it from the amber and caramel which may make it a little too cloying for some people. I did not get much jasmine or ambergris from this. Longevity is about 8 hours on my skin and it projects very well. I think this will be liked by women more, but a confident, modern man can pull this off. I find it very versatile and wearable in all seasons and all occasions. 7/10

What? There's no oud in this?! I actually get hints of Oud on my skin but not on clothes. So strange. Anyway, beautiful scent! It opens up very crisp and airy. As it dries down you definitely get more of the sweet woody notes starting to come through. It's well blended as I can't really detect any singular note. The opening is leaning more on the masculine side. However, once it dries down it becomes completely unisex. Can be worn year round but tread with caution during summer. Still debating on whether it's full bottle worthy. If I can find it for almost 50% off then, yes it's full bottle worthy. 😉

Sometimes I read reviews and I'm wondering are we talking about the same perfume...? This is a ROSE dominant fragrance, all the way through. If you like rose you will probably like this. My grandmother had these vials of pure Bulgarian rose oils and I used to smell them from time to time when I was a kid. So once the dominant note I detect in a perfume is rose, I immediately put this in the women's old school fragrance category. My mom who is now 70 loves this so I bought it for her.
