Rose Arabia Ginger

As a big fan of the Le Gemme - Tygar DNA, I am, of course, familiar with all the alternatives that the market has to offer today. However, with some of these variants, something just never quite fit for me: With Rosso Pompei, it was the strict woody undertone; with Vibrato, it was the overly synthetic and completely overpowering floral notes that gave me headaches in the heat; with Aqua de Dora, it was the developing dryness in the drydown; and with Le Gemme - Tygar, it was the longevity and simply the completely unjustified price. It seems that this new fragrance combines only the best components from all these variants. For me, it’s an incredibly rounded, fruity-fresh, almost tangy and invigorating olfactory experience that accompanies me and those around me all day without being intrusive. It embodies good mood and positivity in a bottle, which can be worn by absolutely anyone, is liked by everyone, and still brings a distinctive uniqueness. Compared to the mentioned alternatives, this fragrance offers an incredibly worthwhile price-performance ratio, which easily catapults it to the top spot among fragrances of this DNA. A very strong release from WIDIAN! This will be my summer signature for the upcoming summer. I already can’t get enough!

This is a lovely ginger spice perfume--amber, warm and rounded, but with a tart, bergamot presence. I already own Ingenious Ginger by Goldfield & Banks--that one reminds me more of a whiskey cocktail called a Federal Stamp--elements of vanilla at the base. Widian's ginger perfume is more citrus-leaning, but I really enjoy it. Not sure I could justify owning both.

A great option for summers. Less intense than Vibrato and Tygar. Amazing scent profile. However, for the bottle that I have, 45mins of performance on skin and a mild scent for 4 hours on clothes. Will let it macerate; hope it improves, else will have to be an expensive option for a gym scent. Shukran Habibi!

One of the nicest citrus perfumes it doesn’t scream like Vibrato or Tygar The florals here gave it a more sweet beautiful touch. I’m gonna use this all year round, everyone around me loves it.

Love this so much! The opening is like a really good ginger ale, not too sweet. Dries down into something floral and equally lovely.

It smells very close to Tygar, but is superior in the longevity. Tygar has that excellent first whiff and then the scent start losing potency and becomes skin scent. Lets not even talk about Tygar price. The quality in Widian perfumes is excellent, ingredients are high quality. I wished the bottle was prettier like London or New York. Unisex leaning masculine.

I was hoping for a different take on ginger compared to Ingenious ginger from Goldfield &banks, but it is unfortunately pretty much identical. Maybe this is slightly fresher and less sweet and cloying than IG. The scent itself is ok, but the performance is nothing to write home about. Skin scent within an hour. Batch W24K54. Seriously overhyped imo. Edit: After wearing it for a couple of days now in the scorching sun, I'm getting a better feel for this scent. It is indeed much fresher and lighter than IG and I find it very easy and joyable to wear. A great summer freshie! Longevity and projection are much better now.

Ginger and citrus, which feels more grapefruit than lemon or bergamot. Cool and dry with no sweetness. I do not detect any of the floral notes listed.

First off, I enjoy reading these entertaining reviews. I just received a 5ml of this and I think it's great. I've tried Tygar, Kajal III, G&B ingenious ginger, and ended up buying Vibrato. I love Vibrato, but after owning it for some time, it's almost too strong. I'm starting to go nose blind within 2-3 hours, and the powdery aspect has become much more pronounced as my bottle has matured. This (Widian Ginger) is what I wanted from this DNA all along. Not too floral or powdery, sweet enough, and with moderate to above-average performance. It doesn't announce you, but it's present on skin for 6-7hours and all day on clothing. It’s the smoothest blend of them all without being unbalanced or underperforming (kajal III). I'm considering selling my Italian bottle of Vibrato (everyone says their beast mode and the French bottles are subpar) and buying this. I would 100% endorse sampling if you want to try the best of this DNA because it's truly fantastic for a great price. Edit: I oversprayed this on a hot day because I enjoyed it so much, and it was interesting. Some reviews say it has a sweet, almost honeyed feel to it, and when I oversprayed, I got that. It wasn't cloying, but it changed the scent profile for me. Not for the worse, but it showed me a different side of the fragrance. Even with overspray, it performs moderately, although the longevity increased significantly. Overall, I still prefer it over the others, except for the Hedonist extract. Would I pay $400 for the Ex Nihilo, or could I take Ginger discounted for about $150? I'd take the Ginger all day. 8.75/10 for me. Edit 2: I ran through a 5ml in record time. A full bottle worthy, for sure. Hot take: I like it more than Vibrato. It's like Tygar with a honeyed sweetness that's almost amber-like, no powder, and it holds that airy, ethereal ginger top until the dry down. Excellent stuff here. Final: Massively disappointed! I got a bottle from Maxaroma after my 5ml from scent split, and they were very different. Now I can see why some say this has poor performance. The bottle I brought projected for 45 minutes and stuck around for 4-5 hours, but tapered off (skin scent) after hour 2. I decided that I'd pass and move on to another scent.

Tygar..? Id say 40% perhaps. The ginger notes gives this a bit more aromatic vibe then the soft woodiness of tygar. While tygar is based around ambroxan this is around floral woody notes. It’s more unisex defined then the masculine screaming tygar ( well let’s say yelling since it’s quite weak these days) Back to the scent on itself: opens with that ginger lemon kinda blast but more fresh imo or cold fresh for a ginger. Then after a few minutes the ice parts go away and the ginger plays its role with the woody notes.. slowly turns more floral which could come across like a bit oriental or a deeper understanding of the name itself ( rose )... in the deep drydown which is 6-8 hours later you still get whafts here and there which smells like aromatised flowers. I do like it, I’m not a huge fan anymore of this profile since I’ve had them all I think. It really is beautiful for the first few minutes to smell this profile but after a while it gets quite boring and even annoying. The hedonist extrait is the only one which didn’t give me that feeling though. Not saying it’s not a good scent it’s a great scent specially for that price! I’d rank these profiles like this: The hedonist extrait Rose Arabia ginger Tygar L’immensite Afternoon swim Aqua de dora pana dora Sospiro vibrato The hedonist The rest and specially the clones I’d let out since my nose could not handle the amount of artificial chemicals or quality of them.

Redundant. The first two hours it is just an amalgamation of every fragrance with the Tygar dna. While it is really good, this brings nothing new. After those two hours, it changes character a bit and becomes more floral forward, and smells pretty good too. Don’t really understand what purpose this serves for an otherwise fantastic house, but this neither the cheapest or best Tygar dna fragrance, so I don’t really get it

Literally ZERO point of owning more than one of these Tygar DNA fragrances. Sure they all have slight minute differences, but in the air, nobody is going to tell the difference. Not even you. I guarantee you, if you smelled this and one of the other Tygar DNAs on someone else, you won't be able to tell which is which. Get one, any of the ones you like, but just one.

I was still deciding between Ginger, Ingenious Ginger, Vibrato and Aqua de Dora. This one from Widian is the most syrupy smelling on my skin. Almost honeyed? It is beautiful, but something in this scent bothers me. After a few wears it clicked. It’s the violet (violet can be a tricky note for me). The sillage is great, but I prefer the others.

Pink grapefruit & ginger blast upfront, losing its extreme fizzyness by the minute and heading towards a sweeter, spicier and slightly more floral direction. In the realm of cinnamon, rum, tonka with a splash of hedione and heliotrope on my skin. Dumbreach for summertime. Not too unlike something like Roja's Burlington.

Smells closer to Limmensite than tygar.

This fragrance is really good.
