Rose Arabia Taifi

It was blindbuy becouse I love taif rose😘very much. Well maded, beautifule rose scent with dry vanilla and shaffron. Very long lasting (for me 12+) and good sillage. Not a common rose scent, I feel the arabian area in it. IMO it works good in colder weather so it is very pleasant from fall until spring. I feel a good woman with it but I can imagine in a man too becouse of the spiceiness of shaffron and It has some softness too...hmmm....I love it, wort the price. And beautifule bottle of course. Try if you like rose!

Wow! Such a beautiful scent. I received a sample from Jovoyparis.co.uk and absolutely love it. Good silage and longevity. One can tell that it is a high quality perfume and definitely worth checking out. Am surprised that nobody is raving about it online. This perfume deserves to be talked about! 😍

Reminds me of roja dove fragrances. With that taifi rose, oud, ambergris, saffron and that signature slightly sweet "cotton candy"...

At first it starts out like every other rose/saffron/oud medicinal combo out there, but the beauty is in the dry down. It has that spicy, sweet Tai'f rose which is so hard to get in perfume today. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to get there and I'm not sure it's worth the cost. When I wear it I remember why I don't use often bc of the saffron, but then it gets down to the rose, and I remember traveling in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey as a teen, smelling this rose was truly a joy. There is none other like it, it's stunning - at least to me. This is unisex, very much so, but it leans a bit feminine. Quality is phenomenal, imo.

I really wanted to like this one because it’s pretty. I really enjoy the rose and saffron in this. I was hoping to find a prettier version of Ormonde Jayne Ta’if and I did. They don’t smell the same but are in a similar vein. I just can’t get over the dry cereal note. That ruins it for me. I didn’t know I disliked gourmands until exploring the world of perfume. On paper I should love these types of fragrances but my nose doesn’t prefer them radiating from my skin. Despite my dislikes, this would be great for a female first trying out ouds. It’s a pretty fragrance that would be easy on the nose.

New to my world, I saw this advertised on LuckyScent, and thought I'd get a sample with my order. Well, it smells precisely like Galop by Hermes, crossed with Aramis Calligraphy Rose. Leather, rose, rose syrup. It's very nice, but as I already have both Galop and Calligraphy Rose, I don't need this, nor do I particularly need the combination of rose/leather/syruped rose. It's cool though, nicely done.

I don't know where I would feel comfortable stepping out in this fragrance. I agree with the past few reviewers; there is a strong synthetic note that is rather jarring. So, not my favorite rose scent.

To me this is very synthetic, cheap, and cloying smelling fragrance. I usually enjoy rose in perfumery, but this is a no.

Blind buy and another successful one. I’d describe Rose Arabia Taifi as a very well executed fragrance on the ever popular rose and oud theme. But here oud is discreet and hidden in the background while rose shines on the centre stage. This rose is fragrant, rich, cheerful and very, very pleasant. The opening reminded me a bit Ella K Lattre de Pushkar, but with less intensity and spaceciness. Comparing them side by side, Lattre is stronger, spicier, and Rose Arabie is gentler, softer. I like both. Staying power is good 4-5 hours and then RA becomes a soft skin scent.

It’s weak compared to all other Arabian perfumes I’ve tried. But it’s very lovely. I agree with the person below who said it has a distinct clean, cereal note (like the cream of wheat cooked porridge like cereal for babies)...with a dash of spice. I mean that in a good way. I can’t tell which actual note is causing it. Maybe it’s a variation of Oud I’m unfamiliar with. It’s THE most office friendly perfume with Oud I’ve found. The only thing stopping me from upgrading my sample to a full bottle is the weak sillage and low longevity.

Smells like any cheap synthetic woody rose you can buy for less. Very dry, to woody. The rose is subdued here not celebrated. There's also like a dry synthetic sweetness in this fragrance that is not pleasing at all. Such an expensive brand the smells extremely cheap. Getting this powdery caramel dust smell. Not at all what I'm expecting from such an expensive brand. Very disappointing there are better Rose fragrances out there for less.

This is really pretty. IMO it's a more refreshing take on this DNA. Yes it's like Roses Vanille and Intense Cafe, but without those harsh and astringent accords that tend to come from Montale. There's something very comforting, yet regal about this. I've tried all of the Rose Arabia line (minus the 2 new ones).. and Taifi is by far my favorite. I might need to get a bottle!

Even though it makes me think of Wheetobix that's been coated in Rose sugar, I find it to be a very delicious but light Rose Oud fragrance. It's sweet, Rosey, and Wheaty somehow. I guess the Oud is dry but clean, and gives a breakfast Cereal sensation. It's very enjoyable, and will be very welcome in my collection.

The first few seconds of application is beautiful. Instant thoughts of buying this. Then the oud emerges and everything is ruined. Dark, acrid bitterness envelops the bright and fruity opening notes. If I could only capture the first moments of its development, I would absolutely be sold.

Repetitive but very pretty. It is similar to Mancera Rose Vanille but the rose is prettier here, the gourmand note is also very nice. I like it very much, but I don't need it. I am glad I have a sample, I might get a full bottle in the future if I ran out of my Mancera scents.

Buttery almonds, pink jammy rose and warm saffron with an airy body. Semi-gourmand, cedarwoody base with vanilla and incense but without feeling too heavy. My favorite of the Rose Arabia-line.
