First Snow

Definitely peppery on the opening, but in a pleasant way. (If you're into spicy scents, you'd appreciate it!) The ambery Bushman's candle is quite prominent all throughout the life of the fragrance. I also got a faint "citronella" scent upon first spray, but then the vanilla and guaiacwood/birch settle in. In a small way, it vaguely reminded me of mosquito sticks at first - big patio incense you can burn in the summer to keep mosquitos away. Like I said, this is a faint, familiar smell to me, but it doesn't make me dislike this perfume at all - I actually quite like it! The woods in here give it kind of a smokey vibe on me, which I dig. (Think like the Wood Wick brand candle/wax melts called "Wood Smoke" - very similar to my nose.) That being said, the sillage is poor and so is the longevity, at least in winter weather. However, it's an affordable EDP, so go ahead and be heavy-handed with it! I definitely think this perfume is unique enough to add to one's collection. :)

I really enjoyed this. I thought it was kind of a typical spicy-wintery frag, but actually there is something a little more unique and interesting about it. I think for me, these kinds of fragrances belong in the heat, it just absolutely glows and I found myself constantly catching a whiff of it throughout the day. Longevity is medium, about 4-5 hours. I 100% buying a full bottle. I think it's fantastic for the price. 8/10

An unusual minimalist fragrance that trends masculine, FS takes a while to reveal its charms. There's a lot of juniper in the opening mixed with some citrus and whatever a bushman's candle is. The black pepper note is there but it's not overwhelming, and vanilla pulls the whole composition together. Sillage is very moderate, lasting power is quite good. This one's a skin scent, perfectly worksafe and unisex, too. Imagine a peaceful forest in winter, snow crunching as you make your way past junipers laden with beautiful aromatic berries. Pick up a berry and smell it - that's first snow, as pure and simple as it gets.

Yeah, this fragrance is wonderful. It opens up an a clean peppery note, and then it expands into a wonderful juniper/forest fragrance. If you want to smell like the sound of a leaf crunching on the floor of a peaceful winter forest, then this frag is for you. It doesn’t last very long on me, but for a fragrance this price, that’s okay. I think this is a unisex scent. I highly encourage people to buy the whole collection—all of them are very evocative of specific memories. They are all worth a smell.

This is very nice. I got the gift set with the EDP and Body Spray. The first 5-10 mins is straight up black pepper. When that mellows out its a nicely blended spicy vanilla and woods. It’s not sweet nor gourmand. Can easily be worn by both sexes. Can safely be worn in close quarters because the sillage and longevity is puny. Start with the EDP and top off every hour with the body spray. It’s the only way you’ll smell it.

This is a lovely blend...sexy even. I get a pleasant peppery vanilla (a cold, creamy vanilla if that makes sense!) with an incense/smokey scent from the Bushman's candle. I do not get any obvious citrus, but that's not a bad thing here. Definitely unique, and definitely a great mix.

Bought this because from the description it sounded a lot like the discontinued unisex perfume from Good Chemistry "north sky," which I sadly only have half a roller ball left of. It's actually a pretty close match- a bit more of a vanilla undertone rather than tobacco like North sky. It almost is like the slightly more feminine version. Not a twin, but a sister at least. My only complaint is it doesn't last very long. Edit: I think I spoke too soon. This doesn't last at all. I thought I was just too light handed but no. I tried layering it with lotion to see if that helped it stick around... still no. Pretty disappointing, since I was really excited I'd found a potential replacement for north sky.

Wow, you know what, it really does smell like winter. Great job on this one and super affordable!

Grim Reaper of Death is what I'd call it. Smells intensely of stale cigarette ashes, with an overpowering mix of black pepper, that strikes you with the worst headache possible. Even my husband said the same thing. I thought maybe it was a hoax. It went into the garbage immediately. I like the other Wild Spirit fragrances so I don't get this one. Stay far away from it like the Plague.

I got a fresh bottle a few weeks ago from Macys and I love it! I actually think it lasts a good while so maybe it’s reformulated or has aged a bit? It’s definitely a pepper forward woody vanilla. I like to wear it to the gym or after a shower

Starts with a thin-smelling "fresh" citrus, then turns into black pepper. I have never smelled more singular pepper than in this fragrance. After the pepper fades after the first 15 minutes, there's little scent left.

Very light, slightly spicy. Vanilla smoky. Definitely unisex. This does smell like something I’ve had before, but can’t put my finger on it. Great for a cheap fragrance.
