More is More

First of all, don't be deceived by the name. This is in no way an over the top fragrance. The top notes are French clary sage, Indian davana, Chinese osmanthus. Heart is Bulgarian rosewater, Italian broom flower and black leather. Base is ambrette from Martinique, Haitian vetiver and patchouli from Singapore. This fragrance opens up with a strong floral vibe, this floral seems like a mixture of white florals and florals with a sweet touch (like osmanthus). In this phase it is very feminine and elegant. When it develops on the skin is becomes more of a soapy and clean/fresh scent with delicate soft spices. At this point, we are past the floral part and it becomes more unisex. Still leaning more femine however with a flirty fougere aspect. Eventhough all the perfumes from Wilgermain are suppose to be unisex, this I would definitely recommend women. As such, the perfect occasion would be a formal gala in New York or Paris, while wearing a white long dress. High class!

This fragrance opens up fruity and floral and dries down to a nice floral, fruity, clean musky scent with a greenish twist in the back. Nothing unique nor groundbraking, quality is decent, the perfume leans absolutely feminine in my opinion.

So i remember smelling this Broom blossom once and thought - just imagine someone would make a perfume it would be so good. It smelled pineapple. Now it’s one to smell this in the nature and completely another straight from the bottle. Because it smells like slightly off pineapple that also covered in mildew . And here I have More and more with a full blast of it , plus mixed with lots of rose and patchouli. You get this awful sticky jamarlade that is leaning bit vintage, but not in a sense of perfume vintage, but the flowers expire soon. Similar is the latest Amouage “guidance” that also projects some sour flower , but I guess develops into something nicer maybe later , maybe never 🤓 ... so it’s a trend. I don’t say these perfumes are same , but somehow it reminds each other.

More is More, by Wilgermain, smells like rosses, patchouli, sage, a fecal scent and leather. I noticed that many Wilgermain fragrances posses the same fecal note, in some of them it is more noticeable, in other not so much. This is one of those where the fecal smells is stronger.
