This is the perfect amber. Extremely resinous and incense-forward, lightly sweet with citrus and cypress really shining through the opening and middle segments, which helps to dissipate any initial heaviness. Even a little sparkling at moments. However the frankincense is what sold me. It’s deep, somewhat sweet, and very omnipresent in the dry down, so you really must like Frankincense to enjoy this fragrance. It's smoky, but not like wispy smoke rings—more like the heavy resins present in a dark, dank black hash. Kind of the difference between smelling smoke and walking into a room filled with it. It has the texture of smoke. It renders a cloak of darkness and seriousness and calm. It’s also got some vanilla and I smell some chocolate notes as well but I could be off. Rose is faint. Total love for me I'm confused why this is so under the radar in the fragrantica community and also why no articles or reviews have been given for the line from fragrantica editors. Amazing! Also, lasts all day and until you shower but it's not overbearing in any way. I wear this so much it's in my top five rotation at the moment. Highly recommend

This smells amazing! This is a summer amber scent for me but it can be worn year round

Beautiful scent, how come nobody is talking about it?

I bought this at a bargain price of £35 from TK Maxx for myself. It’s a wonderful fragrance, rich, deep and sensual. The amber is prominent. This is a perfectly unisex scent. When I first sprayed it, my wife loved it. It smells better on her so now it’s her bottle and she is gutted that it’s discontinued and will likely only have this bottle. Works well in all seasons but I would say it suits cooler weather and summer evenings better. Projects really well, lasts 10 hours on skin and longer on clothing and fills a room when sprayed. It is in the same ballpark as Grand Soir but a little more complex.

This is a straightforward ambery resinous scent. Is in the same ballpark as MFK Grand soir : ambery, resinous scent with some powderyness from the vanilla and some hints of leatheryness in the back. Quality is decent. If you like Grand Soir give this a try. Unisex for sure, also a cold weather and everning scent.
