La Valse

Got a sample set to check out the house and this one caught my eye first. After a full wear, I find it reminds me of a richer version of Oud Satin Mood. It's powdery in an almost sugary way. It's really enjoyable. The rose is a deeper slightly more syrupy rose. It's everything I love about OSM amp'd up. I got around 11 hours on skin and it pushed about an arms length out for about 5 hours. I wore this two days back to back because I couldn't help it. I planned to try another scent from the house but couldn't pull myself away. They definitely have a gem on their hands with this one

This scent is so beautiful. Its PERFECT for fall. Its sweet, resinous, and so well blended! Also, I love that its 100% natural. How she manages to make these amazing scents using natural materials is still beyond me. This along with Jasmine Bae Sarane, and Honeysuckle Halcyon are my favorites...so far! LOVE

Dry down is a slightly sweet and dusty rose. Punchy and addictive opening. Vanillin is perfect and not overpowering. Patchouli isn’t too green. Very powdery and elegant. Amazing projection for 2-3 hours. Definitely a mature fragrance. Unisex leaning feminine.

Nice but smells so similar to my bottle of Nina Ricci L'extase rose Absolu that why would I spend more to buy this? Plus, the Nina Ricci is sweeter and much more feminine which I prefer and costs less.. This would be a nice masculine companion fragrance for your boyfriend/husband. I would love this on my husband when I wear L'extase rose Abslou but I'm going to test it on myself some more. After the patchouli settles (about 5 mins) this becomes even more pleasant. The opening is a bit dirty patchouli (I prefer a clean patchouli) This becomes a nice woody, earthy, slightly jammy and vanillic rose. It's funny I don't notice the pepper in the opening, I just get smacked in the face w/ that dirty, earthy patchouli. I like this better and better the more I test it. The best perfumes in this line (I haven't tested them all) are this one, Rosa L.A, and Violetear. I may have to test some of their other offerings. But some of them are a bit rough, medicinal, and aromatherapy like. This line is rough around the edges and needs more development. As if maybe the perfumer needed a bit more training or time to perfect her formulations.

The top notes smell like the aroma of a Swedish glugg distilled with rose, raisins, vanilla, and spices—delicious. Soon, the rose becomes more prominent, jammy, with some piquancy, reminding me of one of my own composition ideas from some time ago when I combined black pepper with a damascone-heavy rose together. I get to revisit that concept here, fully realized, wonderfully rendered, and I am happy that it was achieved by a passionate perfumer.
