Bear

the magnus opus of a daddy bear. this fragrance is definitely the best move you can make if you love the bear aesthetic. this honey fragrance is exactly how i imagine it would feel to be under a friendly brown bear. because yes, on me and at least on my husband, it’s not aggressive-brutal at all. it’s rough, but it’s like a gentle giant. the honey is raw, sweet but in a masculine way. the propolis feels a bit weird, but not ugly, and by the dry down, when it mixes with sweaty, hairy skin, the iris, woods, and everything else become fatally seductive. when i smelled it on my husband, i had to control myself from staying on his chest the whole time. it gives off an attractive, almost sticky but dominant vibe. 10/10, ship to chile please!!

Bear from Wolf Brothers is a warm and cozy scent reminiscent of thick fur, bearcave and honey. It has a lovely spicy hint that makes me think of Christmas, and something intimate and warming - and «brown» - that smells of both safety and strength. 🤎🍂 This is a great fall scent. Perfect for those lazy days when you want to be like a bear, and go to sleep for several months, and not wake up until spring. 🛌💤 Find your softest blanket, add an extra spoon of honey to your tea, spray on a little Bear, and you are there - in your very own, cozy bearcave. 😁🐻✨ Longevity is around 8-10 hours on my skin. Sillage is medium and fades to a detectable skin scent within a couple of hours.

TLDR : incense, honey, chocolate and... Cola? I purchased this sample mostly because of my own bearish curiosity, this opens smoky and intense, lots of myrrh and cinnamon, drying down sweet with mellified vanilla, the smoky myrrh persists as a note but dies down to match, becoming chocolatey as opposed to astringent, the vanilla notes blend with the ginger and cinnamon and produce something I can only explain as a fancy high end cola, together the tail end experience of bear is deeply comforting, sweet and resinous, However, my friend thinks it smells like lynx dark temptation so there's that 7/10, a bottle of this will do nicely

This is lovely. Warm and spiced, woody and musky, but natural smelling, somehow this becomes a part of me when I put it on. Very much a warm hug of a fragrance. Somehow not overly sweet despite the honey notes, which I appreciate. Someone reviewed it as smelling "brown" and I totally get what they mean. It goes perfectly with my favourite brown woolly jumper for autumnal coziness. This is my second "love" from Wolf Brothers, the other being Wisent. I'm excited to try them all now!

I can smell the forest. Very woody. And very animalic, probably the propolis and labdanum. I'm sure the propolis and honey were there to represent the bear's favorite dessert but the animalic furry impression is impressive. I am picturing a shaggy bear ambling along a forest pathway in beams of sunshine. I think it might be even better in the winter. I will try to save my sample until cold weather arrives and try it again then.

Worm cozy hut in the wild.. It's a scene.. cedar, propolis, wood, bark, cedar, & honey with a touch of cinnamon powder. I don't recall the top spray feeling, but the cooldown is a scene of a cozy hut in the wild as you can feel the worm hug all around you when you wear this... Beautiful.

Propolis, honey, fur, herbs and orris root. Perfect! ❤️ Great longevity, good sillage.

Reminds me of jazz club but more with honey

First thought and also somewhat of a memory: A campfire burning in a russian forest. Someone is preparing a meal before they move on. You can smell the forest and wild berries around you. Someone is lurking behind a tree, patiently waiting for any leftovers ;). This is a much feistier version of Enchanted Forest by The Vagabond prince. I don't have a lot of strong berry perfumes to compare to. A perfect cold weather fragrance to get lost in.

This perfume reminds me alot of mied (honey alcoholic drink). I feel spices. Alot of spices. Mostly cinnamon and clove. Also honey and pollen are definitely present. It's not in the scent profile, but somehow I feel vine. This scent isn't as eternal as Goat by WB. It's more modest I'd say. Overall impression - I do like it, but it's not my favourite.

Bear is one of those fragrances where you'd wish there'd be a stop button for the dry down. In the beginning, you get an awesome, animalic, furry, masculine spicy scent with a touch of sweetness. As it dries down, it dials far back. Yes, leathery, woody, spicy and animalic, but no where near the start. Really too bad. Dries down into the ho-hums; nothing I'd want to buy a FB of. Longevity for me was quite good; got about 10 hours out of it. But it quickly dries down into a moderate projection and then a comfortable, close scent bubble - essentially a skin scent that lasts.

delicious! and then... not so much :( it turns out i am just really really bad with anything that even vaguely smells like leather. idk if there even was leather in this, but the dry down just gave me this subtle, hot-leather musk, and brother i cannot STAND that smell. it's repulsed me since i was like three, or whenever was the first time i got into a new and/or hot car. people who like that new car smell and i are natural enemies. this is something i'd say of most of the wolf brothers perfumes, with wolf and goat being notable exceptions, which is particularly disappointing to me in the case of bear. bear starts off DELICIOUS, with this spicy, almost caramel-y (i guess that was the honey?) scent, with just the right amount of musk. i couldn't stop sniffing it. idk if it was quite gourmand, but i did want to eat it. that of course, dries down into the leathery scent i mentioned before. still slightly musky, but less sweet and more leathery. bummer for me 3

Sweet mint, chocolate, patchouli, hint of cinnamon and a growing tobacco ashiness as well as incense and cypriol. Has an Amouage DNA to it. Pleasant smokey but sweet fragrance, very good for fall and winter.

It’s a sweeter take on the classic masculine fragrance body. Nothing too special, but I really enjoy the propolis and honey warmth to it.
