This review is for the original version with blue cap as pictured above, not the new, allegedly terrible, gold-capped version. My vintage (mini-bottle) version definitely falls within my wheelhouse of favorite 80s fougère offerings (One Man Show, Paco Rabanne, Red, VIP Special Reserve, Quorum, KrizIa Uomo, Tsar, Davidoff, etc.). That said, I get a slight "smokey" note at the beginning about which I'm not personally fond, but that note fades and blends nicely. It's a nice powerhouse from my favorite cologne history period. Still trying to decide if it's full-bottle worthy given the other similar ones already in my collection. UPDATE: Just scored a 50 ml bottle of the "Cologne Concentrate" which I believe is the original release. It's marvelous. Recommend.

Incredibly fresh, soapy fragrance. A little goes a very long way. Old school.

Worth Pour Homme Haute Concentration - Gold-Capped 50ML Splash Bottle - Made in England Austere, bone-dry fragrance. Very conservative scent, more truncated and less sultry than Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, Second Edition . . . which Worth Pour Homme Haute Concentration - Gold-Capped will not be replacing for me. A closer comparison might be to Cerruti Men 1881. Longevity does extend to nine hours with moderate sillage.

Immediate headache with this barbershop, old-school frag with what I am guessing are poor quality ingredients. My bottle is Made in England, not France, which may explain it... :-(

WTH? This stuff smells like vinegar. At least the bottle that I have does. It says it's made in Britain on the bottle.

I have a bottle of the original formulation. It is basically of the 8o's fougere powerhouse pedigree. I should think that the scent pyramid listed on top is not complete. Check out the thread for Worth Pour Homme. You'll find the ingredients and the reviews of enrico and lanier on the other thread more edifying and complete.
