Inule K’Iris Royal

I just want to thank the brand for this spectacular piece of art, which literally intrigued me in the opening though (the first 5 seconds) about what they were aiming to do, but on the other hand it carrired me away right after 3 minutes to its honey-like, thorny-sandy heavenly ravishment. A new kind of olfactive worshipping urge envelopped me into this inspiring milk dewed silk cocoon, while encouraging me to put my hands on scorched desert sand at the same time, as if these hot sand partickles were made of piercing inule flowers in this perfume, and what I felt in my nose, is, as if you were passing your hands carefully on shattered pieces of glass, you can feel their pointed edges, still they don't sank in your skin. I don't know it's very hard to describe it by words, I've never smelled anything this polarized before, no matter how hard I thought it is, to bring up some equivelants to compare this one, to make you imagine how it would smell, it's so unique that I can't find a propper analogy. I mean, do you get this sort of negative+positive feedback from other people who tried inule kiris too. I wonder, wether it is intentionally made on that dialectic manner, or is it happened to turn out just randomly this way. I cannot help admitting, that It's so well-crafted, but I also admit that one part of me still feels challenged by its pungeant opening for the first 5-10 seconds, however what keeps happening in following minutes and hours (which I have to call as "frobidden sacred heaven") also keeps me wondering, what will happen next with that brand Woudacieux, I mean , with that power of olfactive impositon, one could hypnotize masses, cause I'm truely fallen in love with this one at the end.

1. Honestly I bought the sample set because the perfume pyramids in the website of the brand got me so curious, especially for this one: Inule Kiris Royal, I am so impressed by the uniqueness of the ingredients: Inule Visceuse (I looked up and it's a herbaceous flower called 'false yellow head' in english) also other compounds got my full attention, such as silver berry, chardonnay grape, fresh cistus leaves (not the labdanum resin obtained from the mid of the flower, but the green leaves), and the heart notes awake even a greater curiousity in me, dried mulberry, chamomile and oleander, the basenotes are equally authentic with lace flower, marjoram, cypress and oak leaves, deepened and bound to each other elegabtly by the serene orris root . It has a mild and pleasant herbaceous opening coming from Inule (I guess), balanced out with sweet silver berry flowers, chardonney grape and dried mulberry, this fruity-fougere contrast is quite new to my nose, haven't smelled it anywhere before, and the well blended cypress and oak leaves made me feel, as if I was enjoying the the cool sea breeze swirling around my cheeks on a mediterranean beach , where I inhale the intoxicating smell of drying fruits and local rural bushes evaporating their aether under the scorching midday sun, there is something sandy there too (not earth but beach sand), but I couldn't figure out from which rare component it might be originated from. I simply adored the composition and so happy to find my new summer fragrance for hot weather.

"Jeez what's that" I told my self as I first sniffed on the vial spray of Inule Kiris in the discovery kit that I bought (btw don't sniff it on the spray heads of the vials, the other perfume in the tester kit "Lilachypre Encens" is so contegious that it's spread on other tester vials spray heads too, just spray the one you wonder on a paper stripe or on your skin) anyway, as I first sprayed it on my skin, I told myself "No it,s so herbaceous that it's a clear No Go for me" but barely 4 or 5 seconds later, it's caught and slowed down by sweet and powdery silver berry flowers and juicy-boozy chardonnay grape that I got the urge to wait a little bit more before washing off my whrist. Luckily I didn't. And it wasn't even a minute that I am surrounded by this marvelous dried mulberry and white lace flowers as if I was at a picnic lying on the grass in the champs looking down to the crowd of the rushing city center from peaceful suburbian hills. It gets you right at the moment that you'd expect the least and as the woody parts took over with its heady oak and cypress leaves, I was in heaven. I have to admit, that I've never smelled a perfume before, whose first couple of seconds impressions and 15 minutes after differed that much in my perception, absolutely polarized piece of work, as if it's making fun of our noses, but definitely an addictive master piece when you get used to it, I already regret that I am about the finish my tester vial of Inule Kiris.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that I'm absolutely in love with Inule Kiris. It's so delicate with oleander, silver berry blossom and lace flower petals (so rarely used in perfumery btw) , yet this latter powdery, heady and creamy floral side lies in such a stunning and reviving contrast with the herbal inule, cool soicy marjoram and crispy homey smell of oak leaves. I think this contrast makes this beautoful perfume to a shadow play in mind, like the contrast of light and shadow, I always bring it with me when I go out for the night because it really makes me feel confident & safe and rejuvenated. Until I met Inule, I always wanted a perfume which is fougere and floral at the same time, but having none of the latter both too predominantly, I absolutely appreciate this balance between greeny herbaceous fougere and rural flowers guarded by fruity yet dusty dried mulberry, mild and calming chamomile, and fresh and invigorating cypress leaves. On top of all, it lasts all day without feeling too heavy. I am totally hooked on this stuff! Three sprays in the morning is all you need to smell good all day long, no matter how many times you wash your hands and face, or sweat from your pores, it lasts and disperses until evening. Looking forward that the company launches it as full bottle, otherwise I am gonna end up buying these discovery kits over and over just to be able to keep on using my precious Inule Kiris.

I just received this perfume in a discovery kit and as I sprayed it, oh my gosh, it smells mischievously good! I've never smelt anything like this fougere, this beachy and this realistic before. It actually made me feel as if I was vacuumed from my present being and beamed into a picnic on a grass , where I am sipping on my chardonnay, while grabbing my nose on the prairie that I am lying on . It's very sourly sweet with oleander but spicy fresh with rural reeds like herbal inule (false yellow head flowers), then cooled down with dusty aura of lace flowers and fruity tea-like comfort of dried mulberries (I remember from our summer house in my childhood, that the ripe mulberries fell down from trees and left dried on the ground for months, their stain never get away from may until the heavy pooring rains in september) If you love taimed sweetish perfumes contrasted with bitter sour dried petals, with sandy plants and sedges of country side, so aromatic that makes you feel as if you are plunging into the mediterranean sea , where the salty summer breeze blows behind the dunes to dry up your hair and cheeks as you pop up your head above the sea, already warmed up by the hot wind of the reeds and bushes under the cruel high summer sun, Inule kiris the right choice for you!

As I bought the sample kit, I never thought this one, Inule Kiris, could impress me that much to be honest. The opening with Silver berry and chardonnay grape are hypnotically sweet, fruity and boozy at the same time, instantly balanced out with lace flowers, which smell like you were lying on a prairie sniffing on wildflowers you pick, dried mulberry and narcotic oleanders melted with cypress and oak leaves take me to a day dream as if I was fallen asleep beside the bucolic sedges, and the inule smells to my noose like a spicy breeze blowing through the reeds on a stream, freshly crashed green cistus leaves beams you beside the bushes behind mediteranean beach dunes under july sun, each time I sniff on this perfume it makes me create another image in my head, another peaceful place, very relaxing, noble and luxurious. I definitely need a full bottle of this one.

I am so happy that I stumbled across Inule Kiris in the discovery kit that my husband bought me, It smells exactly like the name describes: rural, beachy, sunny, which all make you happy right from first spray on. It opens up with herbal floral Inule ('yellow false head' flower) glazured up with sweet Silver berry petals and sourish heady but still sweet oleander, then shifts the balance towards boozy-fruity with dried mulberries and chardonnay grape, and after half an hour it grows sandy and beachy with marjoram, oak and cypress leaves. You feel instantly tran'scent to a mediterranean beach, Some tend to say it leans towards feminine side, but I think it's quitw unisex.I definitely recommend that everyone try it out!

A brand new start up, focused on high quality niche fragrance. I consider the scent is basically designed in simplicity in complexity. My first impression is that probably the scent and the brand would serve my niche expectations... well done guyz! I will be sincerely supporting your journey!

Three comments below 3 days apart start with "I just". You just fake reviews as a brand it seems. Pity, would be better if house focused on improving their fragrances as they all smell foul and offensive. No sane fragrance lover will consider these a composition with pyramids of development. It is chemical soup and nothing more. Can someone please bring Fragrantica moderators in these review sections so they can finally remove this brand from the library @elena_knezevic

The whole brand is more or less a disaster! Do yourself a favour and check the guard of hoax profiles that claim otherwise. See the date of their reviews, also their reviews of other scents, so they can appear credible. Or just check "People who like this also like". An upvoting campaign done badly, but more importantly it's also quite telling of the brands ethics!

Uncut norlimbanol with a whisper—and I mean a whisper—of abstracted powdery iris that just adds to the desiccated texture. Absolutely repellant 1/10 This has been another edition of "LittleDinkums Reductive Reviews."

Any review from this brand is probably bought.. every single bite I've seen on Instagram have been gifted bottles. What a joke of a company!
