Lilachypre Encens

I've tested and smelled perhaps more than couple of hundred different perfumes in my time, but I can tell you this: Lilachypre Encens is one of the most captivating fragrances that I have stumbled on. It lterally captures you at first sniff. I tried it on my skin and after meeting the person from the company he immediately asked what I was wearing, and what drew me into this rich and dazzling concoction, is this delicate smokey and rich earthy delicious gourmand with subtle lilac and fabulous hyacinth notes.A couple of months back, I saw some reviews of this perfume by chance on social media and as I checked on the site of the brand, I was mesmerized by the perfume pyramid even before having the chance to try it. I am not normally one for floral centered perfumes, which is why I hesitated to try it at the beginning, but then I was seduced by the lovely design of this bottle and gave it a try, and thank god I did. I ordered my first full bottle at that time. The fragrance is delicate with a captivating incense opening, that oscillates steadily between a soft discharge of damp earthy patchouli and dark chery notes back amd forth. The thing that I love most about this perfume is the warmth of the smokey gourmand & and the bitter sweet fruitiness of those deep purple plummy lilacs, the combination is completely enrapturing!

I can't get enough of this perfume since I put my nose fot the first time on it as I bought the sample set, I was on the hunt for a new floral earthy resinous fragrance lately (after EL from Arquiste and Jus Intedrit by Jovoy) and this fabulous perfume instantly struk me with gorgeous lilac and hyacinths, topped with its high quality natural vetiver and luxurious earthy choya ral , and with its resinous damp cypriol came to my rescue, it's a simple example of a perfect blend. It's feminine without being overly floral or heady. The smoke in the opening feels so exquisite luxurious and intoxicating thanks to the Choya Ral and Olibanum, I love how the latter both contrast against the gourmand cherry notes and balance out the purple florals on the top so well.Definitely not for those with untrained noses or fainth hearts, but if you want to smell like springtime wrapped lilacs and freshly picked up cherries in the same bouquet, with contrasting ambience of fall where the orange oak leaves fall on earth with the subtle distant smoke smell of freshly lit chimneys in the background, you simply are not alowed to miss this one.The longeivity is practically eternal and the silage is outside of this world by the way.

I blind bought this one despite the counter advise of some reviewers but at the moment that I read the perfume pyramid and the inspiration story on the brand's website, I sensed that it was already speaking to me. A Bouquet of hyacinth and deep fruity plums with prominent lilacs in bloom framed by earthy and leathery vetiver with hints of cherry for elegance, as if you were walking in a lilac tree allee, where your nose picks up some subtle smoke coming from a cottage behind the trees. Pause for a moment, let Lilachypre EDP sink into your senses. Stroll through nature, breathing in the damp patchouli bushes, the soothing lilacs on trees heading down as if bowing to you when you pass by, and the deep fruity plums gather all around you. Savor an overripe cherry over an open fire settles right on your skin as the fragrance develops further. The first thing that got me hooked was the balanced incense with mesmerizing turbulence between heady lilac and rich earthy cypriol and vetiver. As I like cherry, the last touch for this fragrance is always dazzling for me, I am getting compliments about how great my clothes smell when I leave my scarf of or hand my jacket somewhere. This perfume is one of the most attractive ones I've tried the past couple of years and everyone loves the way it smells. If you're looking for a subtle, characteristic yet powerful smelling fragrance, this is perfect for you! I can feel that my chakras are open again thanks to the intoxicating natural incenses in Lilachypre.

I have been a customer of Lilachypre for nearly 2 months now and I can tell you that this is the one of the most characteristic perfumes I have ever used beside Ungaro Diva and Lancome Magie Noir. At first I had my own chalenges with the smokey notes at the opening, but then I got used to it and realized that the smoke doesn't project to the people around me but stays rather too close on the skin so that only I can notice it and even then only when I put my nose on my skin, however the funny thing is, after I got used to that smokey accord, now I wish that it were more smokey :-) I know it's weird but it's totally addictive, and I am always complimented on how fancy it smells whenever I wear it and it never fails to leave people asking what perfume I've on. The thing that really sets this perfume apart from other fragrances for me, is the fact that it literary lasts for 2 days.

I bought the sample set, and after Poussiere de Lune, Lilachypre is my second best favorite. I always feel refreshed and alive when I wear it, no matter how long the day has been. It's a cheerful but strong scent, with notes that are both sweet and smokey, earthy and deep. There is something about this fragrance that really makes me feel like I'm walking through a field of late blooming flowers in fall. My only regret is that I wish that it had more cherry accords inside, still I love this perfume! I can't stop smelling my wrist when i am wearing it.

This is a scent that I've been using for 6 weeks now and I don't think there is a better lilac vetiver out there. It's not shy I have to say, but not too strong as to be overwhelming either. The smokey opening contrasts so well with the sweet cherry notes later on and sits like a well tailored suit on the patchouli vetiver laced earthy notes crowned by nagarmotha. This perfume is not for those who are faint of heart, but definitely for those who want something stronger and full of character. What are your favorite vetiver-floral fragrances?

This brand got, deservedly, lambasted out of existence when they went on a ridiculous self-review campaign on here and spewed a bunch of hate at anyone who called them out for doing so. Amongst all of that, you can hardly find an ACTUAL opinion on one of their products anywhere on any of these pages. Since they're not available anymore it's probably a moot point to most, but I have actually come into possession of a full bottle of Lilachypre Encens and am here 3 years after the drama to give some thoughts. For starters, the packaging is quite nice, especially for a tiny brand like this was. It comes in a wooden box with what seems to be a heat-transferred image of the same thing that's on the bottle, not just a sticker, on the front. The back features a description and a note pyramid. The box is hinged and opens up nicely to a velvet lined interior that the bottle sits in - this part feels a smidge cheap but overall a great effort from a brand at this level. The bottle itself is simple but heavy, with a solid feeling magnetic cap that clicks firmly into place - you can pick the bottle up by the cap no problem. I think the logo and art are awesome, I love the two dancing fairies as a logo and honestly it's what drew me to buy this in the first place. The label seems to be card stock or something similar glued down into a recess in the front of the bottle. As for the scent, the main criticism I saw from people who weren't just blindly retaliating that all the scents smelled like "poop" or whatever other nonsense was that they were not especially skillfully blended. That much I think I can endorse - it seems here like they've decided that they wanted this one to be their "earthy" fragrance and just sort of full-sent that as a concept. Or maybe they were going for incense and landed in a totally different ballpark by accident, who knows! This thing is INTENSELY earthy and is like getting blasted in the face with Choya Ral - admittedly sort of neat for something that is a less popular note. I would wager that most who picked this up would want to smell that being as it's kind of the "exotic" note here, and boy will you. The vetiver is also very noticeable, imparting even more earthiness and providing a smokey tone to the dirt-fest that's going on here as well. I might get the most tenuous whisper of something that resembles a cherry or general sweetness for the first nanosecond I bring my wrist to my nose, but it's quickly overtaken and whisked away by the earth and smoke. There might be hemlock in here blending in to those other two notes as well, but largely, it's all about that big smokey dirt accord. It's an accord you will not struggle to smell, because this is highly potent and has been violently projecting off of my wrist for a solid hour now from a single spray. It seems like it has no intention of going anywhere either and I expect it will remain noticeable where I sprayed it til I wash it off. As it's drying, that cherry note is peeking out from beneath the scorched earth more and more, still only identifiable if you know to look for it, but it's there. This is a heavy-handed effort from a beginner perfumer, but if you have a nose for the niche and are a fan of earthy, smokey, slightly harsher types of scents, I honestly think this is pretty nice. It's really a shame how the brand chose to carry on and how that lead to their swift downfall, because it really smells like they were onto something here and could have, with experience, developed some real winners with what they were working with. If you've got a good product, please don't be afraid to just let it speak for itself.
