Accento Overdose Xerjoff (00923N, USD190, BNIB) Full review... July 23, 2024 (3 rewear) Accento Overdose (shorten : AO) is a flanker to original Accento. This line now under Xerjoff umbrella. Previously release under Sospiro brand, eventually merge into Xerjoff under “Velvet” eventually rename ro “V” and it still remains. I have never sniffed the whole “V” range, so AO was brought from Note listed and familiarity with Xerjoff. I wish to know that “amber” isn’t mention in note rendition however this is, front and center, Super Amber.. fragrance that merge into Classic Floral Green profile, enrich by Fruity note and Resinous, Powdery undertone it does smell (new way) luxurious (new amber Creed release, sort of) When I sniff in the air, it is mouth watering blueberry hint rose, cooling clean jasmine emitting on top of powdery note from amber and aldehydes. The point is, on my skin, al the jammy fruity and rose goes too fast and you left with powdery mess. ===== First Impression. (April 1, 2024) Accento Overdose was a full blind buy for me. I am bidding on this but it so worthy... I know when the Green coming with White floral. Majority it will be more Natural side of White floral. Like Tuberose with green edge or something. I don't like Fruity dominant fragrance. But I really enjoy Fruity companion when it comes with Floral. Yes, and in this.. it do, it work for me, like a charm. It Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian kinda vibe, fruity barely show up it under white floral. But you can notice it. Fruity in this, smell like a Osmanthus. It leans peachy but not all the way thought, sweet, sour and fresh. It is Osmanthe Yunnan by Hermes kind of vibe. Fruity edge. Floral, in this recalls me the Green edge tuberose but Jasmine instead (?) It smell like Green White Jasmine, unexpected but beautiful. I notice Aldehyde later in later stage of development. I don't notice it in the beginning.. enjoyment in Green Jasmine with Fruity tint company. And yeah, sort of woody rose build up. I recall.. Duetto by Sospiro kinda here but certain aspect merges with White floral with green touch and tasty fruity. It is so enjoyable at this stage. Introducing Xerjoff's amber.. green woody after all the woody rose build up. I kinda see where this fragrance heading to.. more powdery and clean as a time pass by. Xerjoff's amber seems heading that way. Pay tribute to original Accento. Powdery as time goes by, but the floral / fruity support is there. for me, Accento Overdose give a vibe of Killian's good girl gone bad vibe. But more grown up, an unchangeable grown up classy woman forbiddingly enjoy being voluptuous and narcotics. I think if you enjoy White floral fragrance to certain point. & Enjoy full-body fragrance will easily enjoy Accento Overdose. 9.5/10, my enjoyment of the day. Full wear, update 1: This fragrance leave me a bit disappoint, someone mention that this is top note catcher. I think that statement is true. I wore this 17.30 hrs. yesterday and by the time around 21.30 hrs. this turn to unnatural powdery amber, I notice this base similar to the one they use in JoMalone Tuberose & Angelica extrait. it is a bit sharp metallic amber. There is still sharp green floral sweetness support from mid but yeah. It's basically turn chemical / powdery amber at that point... It is 40c in Thailand here right now so weather my be factor. I will rewear when the temp cool down a bit but as of now, I drop the overall score to 6.5 Please decant first at ensure is this work well with your skin. update 2: I spray this on my cloth and pass to washing machine. I use strong laundry scent.. and concentrate fabric conditioner. ... That's amber.. still survive after wash!?? It still emit fairy moderate out of my shirt... Xerjoff going extra dose of amber on this one...

Christian Carbonnel is so talented. He takes notes that I initially look at and think, nope, no way I'm going to like that, and he magically makes them work. I see other fragrances and look at the pyramid and think, there's no way they could f*** this up, and sure enough, they do and it smells awful. I'm getting the most intoxicating florals here, they're thick, they're luscious. This isn't your basic rose or jasmine, these flowers are rare, refined versions of the common florals. I think he has a different way of looking at perfumery. He sees the full potential of certain notes and says to himself, how do I accent this as much and as best as I can to get THEE most amazing rose and jasmine scent? Rose and jasmine are by far the two most common flowers used in perfumery, especially jasmine, so how do you make them incredibly special and seem almost revered, rare? At first, I get a blast of a fresh, bright, fruitiness and it's divine and refined, NOTHING juvenile about this fruitiness. Then the floral notes start to sparkle after a minute or two, and boy do they SPARKLE!!! All of the other notes are here to make the rose and jasmine sparkly and bright as diamonds. LOTV, aldehydes, and the aromatics in the base are here to do that, not to actually take part in the actual blend, they are behind the scenes, so to speak (and boy am I glad because I am not into camphor notes.) The florals here are so fresh, so real and life-like. It's as if their actually still on the branches outside. I get the warmth of the sunshine, I feel the crisp Spring air. When a scent can give you a full sensory experience and transport you, you know it's better than good, it's great. I keep thinking of a bride on her wedding day getting ready in the most glamorous bridal suite and she's surrounded by the most exquisite flowers and wearing a silk robe, and she smells like this on one of the most special days of her whole life. Wow. I've got to try more Xerjoff. So far, I'm blown away by La Capitale and Accento Overdose. I smelled Ivory Route but I had one of those little dabbers from Luckyscent and it's so hard to get the full experience of a perfume that way. I'm glad I ordered every 2mL sample Jomashop has in stock because I feel like in for a real treat. Also, if you've never owned a Xerjoff, the packaging is by far the BEST in the business. They just take it a step further and make it a whole experience with the package, the bottles, and of course, the juice. There is nothing synthetic in this. It's quite the opposite. The Casamorati line is good, I love all my Casamorati's but they really don't compare to the regular line, IMO. I have 4 of them, I would know. I've even debated on getting Dolce Amalfi but there's a note in that one I can't get down with. The Casamorati line are more gourmand fragrances and gourmands, by their very nature, are synthetic. There isn't a toffee or caramel plant out there for me to extract oil from. I foresee Xerjoff becoming the brand for me.

Out of all the notes and accords officially listed, the most prominent ones that I perceive are those familiar aldehydes reminiscent of Chanel No. 5. While the presence of fruits and greenery is undeniable, pinpointing the exact ones becomes a bit of a challenge. HEART NOTES Moving beyond the opening, the fragrance undergoes a complete transformation as it transitions into a floral-centric realm, bidding adieu to the earlier noted fruits and aldehydes. The jasmine, in particular, stands out as an exceptional rendition in the perfume realm, capturing its enchanting indolic sweetness in full bloom. Amidst the continued prominence of white florals, the heart notes introduce eucalyptus, musk, and ambroxan or ambermax from the base. BASE NOTES At the end of the fragrance journey, the scent dries down to an enjoyable conclusion. To my nose, what we are left with are smooth eucalyptus and muskiness from amrboxan. More unisex, with a fusion of traditionally masculine notes, and a smooth transition from the floral heart to the final stages. Accento Overdose is a statement fragrance! Very unique and special to me. One of the best and one of the strongest florals I own! Starts out with fruity notes, a green accord and aldehydes, has a floral heart dominated by a strong Egyptian jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose, all these layered on a more unusual base consisting of pine needles and eucalyptus! What I personally get from these notes are the green notes, not necessarily my most favourite ones in a fragrance, but they are very nice blended with a touch of the aldehydes that gives the scent a sparkling, clean and bright feeling, a lot of jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. The eucalyptus and the pine needles bring a fresh and cool experience to the fruits and the florals. This is very elegant, sophisticated, complex and powerful scent. It’s incredibly strong, lasting on clothing for days. I wear Accento Overdose when I want to feel feminine, beautiful and classy, opulent and dressed up. It’s an incredible well composed white floral fragrance that is super strong. Smells heavenly but you need to love a strong, green jasmine to love this. This fragrance has a great longevity but can be worn even during very warm and humid weather because it doesn’t wear heavy and cloying because aldehydes tend to have very light, crisp touches. The bottle looks like a golden piece of art, it’s heavy and feels very luxurious and imposing. The only downside of Accento Overdose is the very high price. I bought my bottle last year during a sale but it still hurt my wallet a bit. I regret nothing when I spray it on...

Accento Overdose is a creamy white floral fruity wonder... completely different from Accento (purple bottle), which until today was my favorite from Xerjoff’s V collection, and one of my favorite perfumes in general... but now that I have worn Overdose I just don’t know anymore... I’m loving this one, it’s a beast!! Soapy and creamy from the Aldehydes, exceptional white florals from the Lily of the Valley and the Egyptian Jasmine, delicious fruits in the forefront and beautiful subdued roses on the foreground, and to encompass the rest, a vibrant sweet greenery from the Eucalyptus and the Pine... yes, all the notes are accounted for, and yes, they are all present and masterfully blended to create this magical concoction! There’s also something animalic in there... it wouldn’t be Xerjoff otherwise... but it’s not dirty nor off-putting... it’s something wonderfully added in just the correct place to create one of the most alluring and addictive perfumes I have ever smelled!! Although marketed as unisex this fragrance leans more feminine... but I truly don’t care, I love it and I will use it a lot!! Projection is strong, don’t overspray... longevity is amazing, it’s been seven hours since I sprayed myself and it keeps going strong. An instant favorite... Bravo Xerjoff!

I LOVE an aldehydic, jasmine, green fragrance (VC&A First). Was looking for something a bit more modern and bright. This fragrance fits the bill. It is truly like being in a flower garden on a warm summer day. Fresh green/floral notes with spice, and fruity notes. An amazing creaminess/warmth with a touch of soapiness. Elegant/monied fragrance. Everything works so well together! A tad powdery (on me), but still love it. Has great silage, and tremendous longevity. A beast of a green floral fragrance. It smells like the heady tropical air in Hawai‘i at a 5-star hotel. Just delicious and I can‘t stop smelling myself LOL. Ordered a sample, „visited“ with it for a few days, and even though the price tag is rather steep, absolutely buying it. Unique, well compounded, a truly a fragrance masterpiece. Some reviewers say that this fragrance it smells a bit „dated“. My response...A classic is a classic. Personally, I am not into „trends“ and what‘s hot now, rather well compounded, complex fragrances that are „different“ and not pedestrian. Bravo Christian Carbonnel!

This is a fragrance that leaves me breathless and speechless. There is NOTHING on this planet like it. I’m actually surprised there’s not more reviews of this gem! Think elegant, rich, 30+ year old with her 💩 together, that owns her own business and made her own way without her mummy and daddy. It radiates chic and wealth. Not too sweet, too dry, too citrus, too woody, or too synthetic. It’s just beautiful and would totally suit people that don’t like sickly sweet or fruity fragrances normally (I’m a woody and green type girl, but I adore this). Worth the money 1000x over to smell like an absolute goddess. Longevity is 24+ hours on clothes, around 20 hours on skin. Sillage is beast mode, as is most Xerjoff. You WILL get asked what you’re wearing. Definitely feminine leaning, but can be worn in all climates, maybe not over 35 degrees Celsius though. Grab yourself a bottle and thank me later ;)

Let's start by saying I don't like fruity scents! So I don't understand how a "summer", fruity scent got me so interested and wondering if this could actually be my signature scent (when I have a too big of a collection....) This scent hits every "need" it's beautiful, elegant, long lasting, sensual.... it is everything! And I'm exploring it in the UK's December weather *very cold).. I truly don't know what happened here but I think I found my holy grail and maybe a replacement for my top one scent (portrait of the lady) Edit: it becomes better and better each day and I've already gotten loads of compliments.. I didn't realise how far this scent travels... everyone can smell you in a very good way

Of the 3 Xerjoff samples I ordered (Accento Overdose, La Capitale, and Cruz Del Sur II), this one is my favorite. My arms are covered in different samples of perfumes, but this is the one that stands out the most. It's a somewhat fruity white floral with some green that adds some freshness and keeps it from getting too sweet. It projects well, and so far has lasted much longer on my skin than Cruz Del Sur II or La Capitale. Aside from these, I have not smelled any other Xerjoff fragrances (yet) so I can't compare to Erba Pura or the Sospiro line. But I'm really enjoying this one and will consider a full bottle in the future when I finish some of my other bottles!

28C outside, moist air and for many perfume lovers Accento overdose is a great deal of a summer fragrance, if you can afford wearing a spectacular sillage. It will last all day and is very playful. Sweet fruits and Lilly of the valley on a musky base are the loudest players to my nose. Aldehydic rose is very delicate, and quietly present. For example, Gran Ballo is a very different perfume, but the mood and occasions for these fragrances could somehow be similar when I am reaching out for a bottle. Bouquets of femininity and happy summer days. Takes you to beautiful blooming gardens where you lay on the grass and dream about your first love.

off putting at first cause the aldehydes so screechy just a tad bit..... but when I got used to it I started loving it lol.... Its so fun to wear , people around me says its fruity while I get straight florals , aldehydes and woods , no fruity element at all.... so I'm not sure about the erba pura comparison but man is it good. the quality and performance is outstanding , compliment puller for sure . longevity 11/10 projection 10/10 scent 9.5/10 this is particularly not a safe blind buy though I blind bought it , but that's cause I have an experienced nose...... but if you're a regular designer collector don't let this be your first niche .

Gorgeous, heady fruity floral scent. It’s very well blended so I find it hard to pick out the individual notes. I’d say I get a good dose of white florals with an almost tropical fruity smell, like pineapple or guava. I was a bit put off by it being described as a floral aldehyde but I really don’t get much aldehydes at all, it smells more like a fruity floral to me. That being said, while it’s definitely feminine, it’s not sweet or insipid like many frags in that category. This has some really oomph to it - it’s glamorous, bold, and heady. The sillage and longevity are really impressive too, I can still smell this strongly after 6+ hours.

A complex, intriguing bombshell of a scent. It's energetic but classy, and fresh without being light. The bright, gleaming, fruity top-notes mix headily with the aromatic crispness of the piney base-notes. Together they wind themselves around the white floral core, enrobing its supple elegance in their more potent, dynamic energy. It’s very feminine and sexy, but with a certain savvy boldness to it. To me, it smells like Margot Robbie looks - a potent combination of sexiness, glamorousness, and something clever and knowing, like you aren't really getting anything past her but she may well be getting something past you.

For me Xerjoff is one of the best if not the best niche perfume house in the fragrance market. Xerjoff Accento Overdose is a stunner! I also own Xerjoff Accento which is one of my favorite summer perfume and why I was so excited to buy Xerjoff Accento Overdose. Both perfumes are out of this world! But what set's them apart is that Accento is more fruity in the opening while Accento Overdose is more floral with a greener, aldehydic, and soft drydown. Accento Overdose is sophistication and heaven in a bottle. Truly unisex and can be worn year around. My 3 P's - Projection 9/10 - Performance 9/10 - Price 7/10

Considering Hubby is not a fan of scent at all his comment of this on me of ''uber-sexy'' had me staring at him open-mouthed! On my skin it smells like the top and middle notes of Delina with the long-lasting dry-down of God of Fire (it often reminds people of GoF), It's so good because the middle notes stay for hours and the base note does not quickly become the smell of leather on my skin, like it does on GoF. Infinitely prefer it to GoF on my skin. I've worn this for 6 hours and it seems to just get better and more delicious! Definitely FBW and a signature scent for the evenings, bare minimum.

Love and addicted to this beautiful scent! As someone who lives a good portion of my life in hot weather, Accento Overdose is a wonderful spring/summer perfume that is refreshing, energizing, and pretty scent that leaves a sexy trail. You will smell it on yourself and everyone around you will smell you. To put it into non-perfume expert words: it smells like SPARKLING WHITE and GREEN, and it actually LASTS! If you’re looking for your hot weather freshie fragrance, that isn’t going to disappear 10 minutes after you’ve stepped out the door or weigh you down in the heat, give this a try.

Bomb of Fruity florals. Opening is a bit too much and indolic but it mellows down bit by bit. This has a "urinal cake" undertone to it somehow but its not noticible in the air and fades in 5 minutes (unlike Bond no9 Newyork Oud which is so overwhelming and keeps going). Smells like a female middleeastern scent and I have to say its a bit syntheitic. Great performer actually and will get attention. There is a phase that its smells like fruity shampoo which I quite like. I like it but I dont love it to be honest. Something is just not vibing with me here.

As someone who HATES erba pura, kirke, and andromeda this is so good and doesn't give me a headache like the musk in those fragrances. While this has a nearly similar profile to those, this goes a bit more towards the floral direction and the musk here is softer and more bearable for me. Accento overdose is absolutely exceptional and I plan on gifting myself this for my birthday next week 😍 It blossoms even more on your skin Edit: This scent is soooo sexy on me during the summer time!

My favorite fruity-floral scent, where the fruity and the floral side are mixed perfectly and neither is overpowering. My skin literally EATS fragrance and this one still lasts for +10 hours on my skin, with a comparable sillage. My mother stayed with me for a whole day and said she had never experienced such a beautiful and powerful fragrance. Neither have I, so I ordered myself a backup bottle before it got sold out. 10/10, suitable for indoors and outdoors equally.

Got my sample today and I honestly enjoy the scent but it’s a bit strange and I don’t think I’d like to smell like this I expected something more floral and fizzy but this is more soapy, waxy, lotion smelling. Smells like if you smelt someone fresh out the shower but they used a really strong soap. If I wanted to smell soapy, fresh and musky I’d go for so many other fragrances before this. Edit: Ive changed my mind, I love it lol smells clean, classy and unique

Where Accento is a soft, fluffy musk flavored with pineapple and a gentle assortment of flowers, this smells mostly the same but deeper and richer. It manages to intensify the notes present without losing the light, airy character of the original. Like high thread-count sheets or a more plush pillow, the difference may not be apparent on paper but it's appreciated in person. Moderately strong projection fades slowly over 3-4hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Incredibly beautiful, I'm not getting this crazy loud performance that others are mentioning. But this was an instant love for me. I was a bit worried about this blind buy as I typically like fruity florals or warm gourmands. This is def fem leaning and I personally wouldnt want to smell this on a man and I do get some soapiness but an extremely beautiful soapiness and I dislike soapiness. I think this might be my top 5

While this is not a scent I would wear too often, it is beautiful, comforting, and addictive. The richness and depth of the perfume had me desiring more and more, similar to a dessert that I want to savor but find myself eating at an accelerated pace as I get further into it. For this reason, I believe the name is apt. As with pretty much all Xerjoff perfumes, I believe it to be overpriced. But still, a fantastic smell.

Accento Overdose is a fresh, delightful, and moderately sweet fragrance. The scent opens with a very clear, fruit-forward blast. As it develops, the subtle bittersweet aroma from a pink rose emerges, balanced by an aldehydic brightness and green accord. I especially love the dry down, where a light, non-medicinal eucalyptus note comes through beautifully. The notes are identifiable and blend well.

To me this fragrance smells like erba pura but take away all the sweetness and add some elegant floweriness. I enjoy this a lot. I get serious amount of compliments with this one. Although it’s not blind buy safe for sure. And don’t be afraid this is not even close to being feminine. An almost perfectly balanced unisex frag. 4-5 sprays are more than enough and it truly lasts an entire day.

So dissappointed with Accento Overdose! I own Accento by Xerjoff which is one of my favorites and I was hoping for a flanker with myabe some new darker twist, but unfortunately this is just a Floral bomb! As a man I find it too floral and feminine to wear. Totally dissappointed!! I live in Germany and have a full bottle 100ml 99% full and I am willing to accept offers or viable trades.

I did just sample it and I was like... wait a second... I smelled it before but I can't remember ordering a sample... Then it hit me. It's really close to Erba Pura. More feminine, slightly less fruity and more floral. Also less clogging. It's 100% feminine, can't see men pull this off. But would love to smell it on woman, all ages. Last long time with a good projection. 8/10

White linen dress, walking through a field of wildflowers on the edge of a pine forest worthy. Complex, well-blended and absolutely lovely. There is some Xerjoff DNA...maybe an in-house base accord... in Erba Pura that peeks out here from the depths, but this in no way smells like Erba Pura. Smelling them side by side, there's no question they're from the same perfume house

Gorgeous. Gorgeous fruit and flowers. Really unique. Creates the most beautiful scent bubble around you. Feels and smells very modern and very sophisticated. Gives me the same luxurious vibes as Lamar with the really fruity opening before turning into a smooth but intoxicating floral. Easily a top 5 fragrance. Longevity: 6-7 hours Sillage/Projection: 6 feet Overall:9.5/10

It's a special occasion scent. I have to be dressed up to make it shine. I could easily see a bride wearing this because it reminds me of the colors white and gold. White flowers along with fruits make it lean more feminine, and that is why I like it so much. Extremely long lasting with good projection. A few sprays is all you need.

Unisex hmmm I don't know about that but this 1 is true beast mode. 2 sprays is all you need to be in floral/fruity heaven. Jasmine rose and lily are the dominant notes as pine is nowhere to be detected but there is some kind of tropical fruit. Perfect for tropical and down south weather but this works for women way more than males.

This does NOT give me Erba Pura vibes- I have both. This one is an elegant floral fragrance. Moreso a clean elegant white floral perfume. When I want to feel like a confident, elegant, feminine women, I'd wear this in a heart beat! It's a very calming floral scent that somehow re-centres my feminine energy. Love !!!!

My signature scent!!! It is a very unique fruit centered perfume, nothing to compare to it! Long lasting with great sillage and it does not disturbing people- I discovered that everybody find it very enjoyable on me. I can’t get these notes-overall it is a very pleasant and feminine one! My fav. Xerjoff!

There are two scents that captivate me with their opening: Creed SWM and Overdose. My friend, these two scents make you feel the scent of heaven in the worst situations. Roses, lilies, fruits are so beautifully blended that you will want to use them forever. The longevity of Overdose is also excellent.

This is a veryyyyyyyy long lasting , room filler perfume that you dont go noseblind. After a proper shower you still smell it. Complement getter. Very versatile. Has fruity floral a bit sweet aspects that works nicely together.

An Over dose addition to my collection, a beautiful complex of fruity scent and hint of floral vide, the opening is a below the expected, but the dry down is a quite impressive, very rich, very classy. Over all 8/10

This is gorgeous. At the beginning it is fruity after that I get more white flowers. It is very sexy and classy. There is a little Chanel Gabrielle vibe, maybe because of the aldehydes. Beautiful fragrance.

Its not fruity but more on floral side....feel is tropical and coconut vibes (easily detectable) Lasting is superb. Similer with kenzo homme edt intense. Scent is likable and versatile.

I tried the original Accento and it left me uninspired. Accento Overdose, on the other hand, does everything I would've expected Accento to do. We are talking slightly boozy, floral pineapple opening that has some kick from up close. In terms of the scent pyramid, the greenness isn't noticeable here. To me, the greenness is purely there for blend quality and helping lift the scent. Unisex profile, leaning feminine just like the original. Performance minimum 8 hours as a spring/summer scent, sillage is definitely strong - I know it surrounded me with a cloud when out in the sun, when walking about, when in the gym etc. I'd say this, for women, is a good scent to wear when running errands or going out on a girls night. It doesn't have something special to make me think it's a great date night scent or that it would be good in the fall/winter. Drydown on this is very similar to a lot of the offerings from Xerjoff - a musk with some fruity aspects. You'd basically see the same drydown in Erba Pura, but Accento Overdose has more phases to it. I'd argue this is better than Erba Pura. Edit: When I wrote this review in April, Zenne from Nishane was to me the king of fruity musks. I have since tried Initio's Musk Therapy and I'd rate that as my number 1 now (August 2022).

Sweet, floral, fruity and slightly green. A more floral, yet classy, sensual and dressed up version of Erba Pura. Smells great but feels redundant bc I have EP. Strong projection. This would be great if you like Kirke/ Cassiopea and dont own Erba Pura. But its also fine if you own EP because they really arent exactly the same, just ever so slight resemblance. And I almost wanna say I like this better as it seems to have more depth than just fruity musk. It does dry down a little soapy though. This would actually be a good signature scent and I could see it being a wedding scent as well. It just makes me think of an stunning all white look! I dont see it for a man, I see it for a beautiful, bold, well dressed confident woman who wants to turn heads. Great projection. Phew, now that Im done describing it.. I think maybe I should add this to my collection lol
