EN. When I received the Coro sample from my favorite boutique, I didn’t even want to test it. After reading the note list on Fragrantica, I expected a syrupy fruit punch of tropical notes, which is definitely not my taste. So I put it aside. But one Sunday I decided to try it at home, just to be safe... and I immediately fell in love. In reality, there is very little “tropical fruit” in this fragrance. Yes, the opening is bright and fruity, but it feels harmonious and elegant, immediately supported by floral nuances and a base that never turns cloying. The composition is rich and balanced: iris and jasmine unfold with refinement, while soft woody and amber notes add depth and character. What surprised me the most was the sillage: Coro is anything but quiet! It has strong and lasting projection, leaving behind an elegant and seductive trail for hours. This is not a fragrance that hides on the skin — it declares itself with confidence and personality, yet never feels excessive or overwhelming. For me, Coro turned out to be a real discovery: I expected something banal and overly sweet, but instead I found a refined, magnetic, and truly captivating creation. It’s one of those perfumes you simply cannot judge by the note list alone — you have to wear it to experience its extraordinary beauty. ⸻ IT. Quando ho ricevuto il campioncino di Coro dalla mia boutique preferita, non avevo nemmeno voglia di provarlo. Leggendo la lista delle note su Fragrantica, mi aspettavo un “composto zuccherino” di frutta tropicale, decisamente lontano dai miei gusti. Così l’ho messo da parte. Ma una domenica ho deciso di provarlo a casa, per non rischiare... e me ne sono subito innamorato. In realtà, di “frutta tropicale” in questo profumo ce n’è ben poca. Certo, l’apertura è vivace e fruttata, ma appare subito armoniosa ed elegante, sostenuta da sfumature floreali e da una base che non diventa mai stucchevole. La composizione è ricca ed equilibrata: iris e gelsomino si rivelano con raffinatezza, mentre le note legnose e ambrate donano profondità e carattere. Ciò che mi ha sorpreso di più è la scia: Coro non è affatto timido! Ha una proiezione intensa e duratura, lasciando dietro di sé una traccia elegante e seducente per molte ore. Non è un profumo che resta sulla pelle in silenzio: si dichiara con sicurezza e personalità, senza mai risultare eccessivo o invadente. Per me Coro è stata una vera rivelazione: mi aspettavo qualcosa di banale e troppo dolce, e invece ho trovato una creazione raffinata, magnetica e profondamente affascinante. È uno di quei profumi che non si possono giudicare solo dalla lista delle note — bisogna indossarli per coglierne tutta l’eccezionalità.

I don’t think it has Erba Pura’s DNA or vibes. This one isn’t just as loud and screechy. One thing I will say is that it’s not so strong or as long lasting as EP. This one starts out very fruity, tutti frutti bubble gum but light— not so overly sweet or childish. After a couple of minutes it does transform into something more grounded and woody (Sandalwood), with musky floral (Jasmine) nuances. The fruit I detect the most is the pineapple. It’s quite innovative and very interesting too! I think it is a league of its own and not so related to Erba Pura— which by the way I cannot tolerate. It’s feminine leaning — at least in my book.

I wish Xerjoff would make more fruit-heavy frags like this. Its nothing like Erba Pura because its not anywhere near as musky, and the fruits are different. Erba Pura is near-perfection, though. This is a solid 8 of 10, but it is NOT better than Erba Pura. Its way more like Accento than Erba. If youre a fruit fan though, this is guaranteed to please.

Summery, fruity. It reminds of Erba Pura but with a stronger ambery/vanilla note instead of the strong musk. If you like the fruit in Erba Pura but not the dry down, you might love this one. I really like it. I feel that Erba Pura is bolder, has more personality, white Coro is kinder. Maybe that makes sense for someone.

Extremely easy to wear and fall in love with, some would say a bit too sweet. The smooth fruits blended with the jasmine and musk dry into this floral, perfectly unisex fragrance, one of my personal favourites from the xerjoff line
