Deified Tony Iommi Signed Edition

I recently received my bottle, and I must say, it left me speechless. The combination of notes in this fragrance is truly exceptional and unlike anything I've experienced in a long time. The saffron takes the spotlight in the opening, exuding an intense and captivating aroma that I absolutely adore. As it dries down, a luxurious blend of rich leather and musk emerges, creating a truly memorable scent. In terms of longevity and sillage, this fragrance is top-notch. It easily receives a perfect score of 10/10 for both. The scent lingers on my skin for an impressively long time, and its projection fills the air beautifully, leaving a lasting impression wherever I go. I am genuinely thrilled with this fragrance and highly recommend it to fellow fragrance enthusiasts. Its unique blend of notes and remarkable performance make it a true gem in the world of perfumery.

I am both a Xerjoff and Black Sabbath fan, so I had to save some money in order to get one of the signed bottles. O-M-G, I was not wrong at all! I love the strong, yet elegant leather note, mixed with rose, saffron and fruity notes. Why do I say "fruity notes"? Because I feel there's more than apple to it (some ripe mango, kind of, but no passionfruit). If Monkey Special is very suitable for nights out or concerts (I actually wore it at some metal shows!), Deified is more professional and I am planning to wear it to some job interviews, in the right amount (only 2 or 3 sprays). It's a 10/10 for me in terms of scent, bottle design and performance!

Excellent and unique addition to the Iommi fragrance line. The signed bottle is an unbelievable example of fragrance presentation and attention to detail.

The thing about the price is, if you are on xerjoff.com the price is shown as 650 euros. If you are on xerjoff.com/usa the price is 533 euros. I don't know why that is; you'll have to ask xerjoff.

Slightly disappointed, but expectations were also high. The new Iommi Deified has very little in common with the first Iommi. No sweetness, no boozyness whatsoever. That is now replaced by a top note of apple and a higher dose of cinnamon, which are very obvious from the beginning, but also remain until the end of the fragrance - similar to what Passion fruit and Rum did in the first Iommi. The fragrance is quite linear and pleasant - over time, and dry woodiness becomes more apparent, but the cinnamon+leather+apple combo is always there. This replacement means that now you have an entirely different fragrance. While the leather note is similar in both Iommis, one you would have a hard time saying they are related at all. The first Iommi takes a very boozy, sweet, dark approach. This one is a very dry, woody, light scent. There's no sweetness to it at all. t is an interesting smell, but for me, it lacked the originality and perfect blend that the first Iommi had. Still pleasant, just didn't knock my socks off. But a recommended try for people who prefer woody dry scents , with 0 sweetness to it.

Voting on this is pointless. This is a 1-in-100 collector's piece at €650/50ml. When Monkey Special came out, they released 200 collector's pieces at, IIRC, €575/50ml. Nobody is telling you to buy this, it's either for the hardcore Xerjoff fan or for the Tony Iommi fan. Also: Deified is not a flanker of Monkey Special and is its own thing, this is what the brand themselves have said. Me personally, I would still expect overlap due to the amount of common notes & accords.

I'm gonna enjoy people complaining about the price, considering atm it's the collector's edition. I blind bought the original. I loved it. Can't wait to check out this one.
