Erba Gold

In the world of niche fragrances, there are so many choices and things available today that it is simply difficult to choose the right one! Unfortunately, some of them are honestly a little overrated.. With years of success, they destroyed their own fragrances with reformulations (Creed-Greed I'm sniping at you ;) ) As always, there are those nice exceptions that make it still worth it! One of these successful brands is definitely Xerjoff itself. I am simply happy with most of their releases that despite everything they have achieved, they still offer high quality and honorably defend the title "Niš perfumery"! X. Erba Gold? Let's get straight to the point. Simply, among all the varied offers from the house itself, this belongs in the Top 3 for the most beautiful and best compliments! I got them during all the costumes really everywhere (store, bar, on the road, bank, cinema, work... ) I also own a Sospiro Erba Gold and it is right there! This current X. beauty is similar to the somewhat ordinary X. Erba Pura (Which is more on the feminine side) with an amazing added transformation! Melon, mango, pear, apple, cinnamon... With my personal best spice - Cardamom! Conclusion! Totally good and a compliment magnet - lasts very well and despite the similarities to Erba Pura, this rendition is totally its own perfume worth the money and a better choice! I notice that it is quite underrated and let it stay that way - it will serve me for a long time for praise and uniqueness 😁 It's not good people-go on for someone else's-this one is mine 😂

Erba Gold opens with a rich fruity combination of citruses, mango and melon. In the background, there's an icy fresh note which makes it smell like what tropical Trident gum would taste like. As it dries down, the musk adds a nice clean, synthetic scent, transforming it from tropical gum to tropical fabric conditioner. All in all, it's a fun, attention-grabbing fragrance, but it could be perceived as slightly immature. In the hot weather, I think most people would enjoy this, plus it's very unisex (except maybe older men). In my opinion, Erba Gold is much, much better than Erba Pura and Kirke, both of which are (IMO) borderline unwearable synthetic musk bombs, though it falls short of the other tropical fragrance I own - Pacific Chill. If you had to choose one as a summer signature at retail price, I would recommend Pacific Chill, no hesitation, due to its unmatched quality and creativity, but I suppose personal preference is No.1, so sample first regardless. Performance is carried by the musk, giving you a whole sunny day's worth of longevity as well as room-filling projection. It's not nuclear like Erba Pura or Kirke, which is a good thing. I would consider a good amount of sprays for the summer outdoors is 6-8, indoors maybe half of that. Random sidenote - Xerjoff presentation is exceptional as always, but their 100ml might be the tallest bottle in my collection. Maybe I'm too used to short, stocky bottles. Smell: 8/10 Performance: 8.5/10 Presentation: 9/10 Value: 4.5/10 Overall: 8/10

This was my first ever blind buy to me, and it did not disappoint. I have smelled Erba Pura before but I didn't like how harsh it was. I loved the scent, but that harshness is really too big of a flaw for me to buy it. Fast forward around a year later, I needed a summer scent really badly due to my collection basically only having winter scent at the time. (I love vanilla scents) So, I stumbled upon Erba Gold. Upon reading the reviews on how this was Xerjoff's new take on the Erba Pura. I was a bit skeptic, but after hearing how people praised it for being a more well-blended, easier to wear Erba Pura. I have to check it out. Sadly, I couldn't find it nor try it anywhere. After careful considerations, I decided to pull the trigger and blind buy it. It was perfect. Sweet fruity scent that screams summer. I know people said it smells like mango, but as a south-east Asian. It kinda does, but not too much. It definitely still smells like melon to me. A nice melon that is backed up with sweet fruits. The vanilla is really well-done in the dry down. This scent is so nice that I used this for a week without getting bored of it. I used it for university, and my friend said I smelled really nice. I don't recommend using it if you're going to be in a small room with lots of people though. Don't ask how I know. TL;DR Fruity sweet summer scent. Does smell like mango to some, but definitely not to me. Super long-lasting, still present even after I took a shower. Projects loudly.

A TALE OF TWO BROTHERS... Once there was a big,powerfull & rich family. They were very successful in their business and had a great respect/reputation in their region. The problem arose when this son started to appear everywhere, he caused a lot of scandals and began to undermine the reputation of the family itself with his explicit behavior. most of the surroundings.. The father became more and more doubtful of his growth and hoped that someone else could somehow miraculously save him.. He invested all his last hopes in his remaining son.. After all that has happened, the second son - Erba Gold - finally intervenes! This one was much more beautiful, equal or even more valuable than his own brother - even closer to his father in terms of values. With his friendly character, kindness and just enough self-confidence, he renewed old ties, resolved most of his brother's disputes, made many new successful acquaintances, and fully returned the shine, honor and glory of this rich and successful family with its own coat of arms “X”! 😊

Honestly, I was looking for a summer fragrance with a Chypre accord, but when I came across Erba Gold, I didn’t have high hopes for it. Having smelled Erba Pura before and the fragrance that never truly captivated me due to its dominant Fruity accord and I assumed this one would follow the same path. But Erba Gold turned out to be an unexpected revelation, and I absolutely fell in love with it! This fragrance masterfully balances Chypre and Fruity accords, where a delightful mango-like scent emerges, bright yet refined, seamlessly blending into the rich complexity of the composition. Its notes unfold beautifully, opening with radiant citrus freshness before settling into a warm, alluring base that lingers. What truly makes this fragrance unforgettable for me is its sillage, which is soft yet commanding, leaving an enchanting trail in the air, and its longevity, which remains on the skin for hours, constantly revealing new layers of depth. This intelligent fusion of freshness and depth not only changed my perception of this fragrance line but also made Erba Gold one of my top summer choices and the scent that truly deserves admiration and appreciation. I’d rate it 8.0 out of 10.

I can't understand why people are so hostile towards Erba Pura and Erba Gold; it seems absurd to me. Both perfumes are quite good, very successful, and can be considered turning points. In my opinion, Erba Gold and Erba Pura are much nicer than the summer perfumes of the designer brands they praise. My personal experience is that both are fruit-themed and extremely similar to each other. However, Erba Gold is more suitable for women, while Erba Pura has a more masculine feel. I attribute this to the amount of musk in it. There's nothing to describe the scent because the number of notes is really very large and it's really difficult to describe them one by one, but in the opening, ginger is in the background, while melon and citrus are prominent. In the middle notes, I detected cinnamon and clove sparingly, but I felt the apple very strongly. After 3-4 hours, the perfume became quite difficult to distinguish from Erba Pura. I recommend considering them as sister perfumes and buying whichever appeals to you more. I think it's also suitable for blind buying. It's a complete compliment-seeking monster, an attention-grabbing monster, and the longevity is excellent.

Xerjoff Erba Gold is a fresh & fruity, airy vanilla bomb. It sure makes me happy. Erba Gold opens intensely with a strong fruity burst of happiness. I don't get much citrus which is my only complaint with this fragrance. The citrus is there, but light. I adore it regardless. The mid & dry down is a classy and airy vanilla fruit bowl on my skin. The mango-like melon and fruit notes pop up and blend so well. Not much spice, but a touch of musk and VERY light woods. Super smooth, fruity, airy vanilla. The 'Gold' makes sense when you smell it. This is my first niche and the projection and longevity are excellent with big projection and all day longevity. Powerful and fun without being childish or candy sweet. The oil quality and blend is refined, smooth, airy and clean. Fruity sweet while being light. Wonderfully made. A perfect summer scent, but could be used year round. Too loud and fun for an office maybe, but rock it anywhere else. If you dig fresh fruit bombs that lasts, has a maturity and class, I definitely think you should give Erba Gold a try!

Over the summer I was torn between this and god of fire. To this day I'm really happy with my decision to get erba gold. You're getting a really pleasant slightly creamy mango/tropical fruit smell that makes you feel like you're on vacation. This is my go to summer night out scent. Compliments go crazy with this. Bouncer told me "I'm gonna have to steal that cologne, what do you have on?" and a group of girls by the beach said " something smells so good", I didn't say anything that's all I needed to know. My friends love this on me as well. Fantastic performance, don't need a lot of sprays with this. Only gripe I can say is that the musk can stick out more than I'd like as the fragrance goes on. Still nice though. Way better than erba pura as well. It's much smoother and adds that tropical feel that I love. 8.5/10 overall

This fragrance is a sweet melon with vanilla and musks as a base, no spices no cloves no cinnammon You get this sweet green pear that jointly with the melon envelops you in this warm sweet hug. It's vivid, Joyful, Playful. when they tell you a basket of fruit don't get the wrong picture... those fruits are the juiciest and sweetest you can eat. I honestly think this is totally unisex and if i had to compare it with erba pura i would say this is less synthetic and definitely more complex. Some people argue the perfromances of Erba pura are much better but having both i would say both lasts around the 7/8 hrs range. If you have erba pura though i would not consider buy this fragrance they are 70% similar. Outstanding creation, complex sweet fruity. Nothing much more to say than what i've already said

Fresh uplifting fruity smell!! some citrus on top to make the fruit mix alive and kicking! and the overall smell is a tropical fruit mix: Mango (not listed but smells a lot like it) Melon Pear Apple and Citruses on top imagine what it would smell like and you'll be pretty close! dry down is slightly sweeter with the vanilla and base notes, but it's still pretty much the same fragrance overall! it's a beast mode one for sure so careful with the sprays. it can easily choke people out so I wouldn't do more than 4-5 sprays max. summer hitter! Use cases: day time signature summer scent night time - only in parties / special events that makes sense with this pools / beaches / summer vacations 10/10 for a realistic tropical fruity smell not blind buy safe!!!

Hello, just got a sample in from xerjoff along with 3 others. Just putting this review out there. This is a really nice fragrance, perfect for fruity scent enjoyers. As someone who likes wearing fruity and sweet fragrances in the summer this is a dream. Now I can get clowned on for this, but I manage to pick up a very interesting scent. My best friend recently picked up Vulcan sable by French avenue(dupe of sand dance). I’m not saying this smells like it, but I think a combo of orange, melon, and vanilla is punching through AND IT SMELLS JUST LIKE IT BUT FRUITY. Vulcan sable has a very interesting dirty whiskey vanilla scent that smells exactly like this. I don’t know if I’m like hallucinating but yeah. Fire scent might buy 9.5/10

My introduction to the Xerjoff name, I was hesitant to purchase this fragrance as albeit a new fragrance enthusiast, I had long known that I was a fan of darker and mature scents and less so it's joyful and sweet counterpart; But I was immediately enthralled by my first smell. The juicy and photorealistic mango immediately triggered a thought in my head, that I was holding a real mango in my hands. As you are wafting in the powerful scent of mango and eventually a more general fruit basket, the deeper tones of the scent, mainly amber and woody notes, begin to come through and nicely present itself, not to prominent but in just the correct proportion. I also bought it for 50% off on FB.

This might just be my favourite summer fragrance. I have a hard time picking favourites, but erba gold is definently there. Erba gold opens up very sweet and fruity, with a tropical feel. And after about a few minutes, it already changes vastly, because initially it smells very much like erba pura, but after that's over with, erba gold smells a lot tropical and very mangoey. I also get that very aquatic type feel from the melon in this, and i haven't seen people talk about it. But i do. Anyway, this is a very sweet and i think feminine leaning still. So if sweet and feminine ish fragrances aren't your thing, you probably won't be a fan. DO NOT BLIND BUY.

Fragrance Journal Entry #117 This fragrance opens up with a very juicy fruit basket, you mostly get alot of that pear, melon, & mango. It comes across smelling a bit like banana laffy taffy but not overly synthetic. As it dries down some earthy notes come out and can smell a bit harsh nose to skin, then a few hours in the vanilla appears to round it out. Overall this is a very unique mass appealing offering from xerjoff, i would say be cautious on the sprays if you wear this in summer, a bit too heavy in high heat. Gotten quite a few compliments with this one, unisex leaning slightly feminine. Rating: 8.9/10 Blind Buy Safe? NO

This is potent fruity-sweet with a musky base. I get a very ripe+very sweet mango (especially in the opening) with a little bit of spice. I find this versatile, the fruity sweetness is clearly a warmer scent profile but its pretty potent so I can see this being good in the cold too, day or night any season. This lasts quite a long time, I don't count exact hours and minutes but its definitely an all-day fragrance. (Wore this out for several hours and I could still get whiffs of this on myself on the ride home) Projection is above-average/strong during the first few hours, and still projects decent/average after a while.

It's juicy melon combined with citruses which are not overpowering, sweet vanilla and sexy cardamom. It's not super masculine, definitely unisex. I was really surprised by the performance - I would get whiffs of it even 7-8 hours after applying it, and within the first 3 hours people would comment on it from over 10 feet away! Seriously amazing fragrance by Xerjoff, so glad with it I got a full bottle which would probably last me an entire lifetime. I could easily see this being used at summer and spring, daytime obviously, but also on warm summer nights. Expensive? yeah... Worth it? you bet!

A more wearable Erba perfume. While it is still loud, it has a gentler introduction to the olfactory nerves. It’s not a harsh opening, but a gradual experience. That being said, this only needs three sprays tops. Anything more and you’ll be intoxicating the entire room. This is truly a summer scent and I’m glad I revisited this one, because it is perfect for this season. I especially love how the amber ties up all the citrus and fruity notes in this perfume, while the woody notes add depth. This easily takes you a whole day, and more, both on skin and on clothes.

I went into the store already knowing I was buying this fragrance and honestly I don’t regret it but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. It’s fruity bright and fun and I can guarantee it’ll smell different than almost anything else in your collection. The opening is easily my favorite part because it’s vibrant and juicy with this luxurious feel to it but on my skin the dry down loses some of that magic and becomes more musky than I would like. It’s a good fragrance and I’m glad I own it but for the price I expected to fall in love with it and I just didn’t.

Strong, deep, realistic fruit basket. To get this much fruit and don’t feel anything quite synthetic is mind blowing, Xerjoff really nails it in this one. Delicious is the only word I can think for it, it really walks the line where scent meets flavor in an impressive way. The Brazilian orange note is great and for me the fragrance develops very strongly on the fruity side, with a base of subtle vanilla. It is very unisex, no classic masculine notes at all. Not very versatile, but as a scent profile, it’s amazing. Wouldn’t change a smidge.

I adore this fragrance, and so does my mother. Think ripe basket of mango, melon, apples, and oranges, with a base layer of sweet and playful vanilla. An absolutely beautiful unisex spring or summer fragrance with strong performance and noticeable sillage. For those who have more experience with fragrance, this fragrance has a very similar DNA to Erba Pura, however, not as polarizing and beast mode, which in my opinion is a good thing. I love it. If you have the money and want a sweet summer scent, PLEASE buy this. Outstanding.

A fragrance I’ve been wanting for a long time, finally pulled the trigger and got it . Similar dna to Erba Pura but Erba Gold is like that cousin that’s like your twin. Best way I can describe it . Both are the same but each do things better than the other . The melon, vanilla, musk ? Just almost all the notes are well blended in this . Unisex as well. Can be worn throughout the spring -summer season and pull in many compliments. If you love fruity scents or have Erba pura ? Definitely recommend blind buying. Rating : 8.7/10

If you want a fruity, musky summer scent, look no further. The pear and melon are delicious and supported by just the right amount of ginger. Add a hint of creaminess and you have possibly the best in class. Obviously, this is offered in a similar style to its brother, Erba Pura, but trust me, Erba Gold is the better, more complex choice. It’s close, but I might prefer it over God of Fire and Summer Hammer. This is a steal if you can find it at a discounter for the low $100s. Great summer option. Overall 8.7/10.

Even though there is no mango note, the opening smells like a nuclear fresh mango. When I got a bottle, I was expecting compliments, but instead people hated it. People were complaining of it being too strong and smelling strange. It disappointed me because I really enjoyed this scent. I believe the musk note causes other people to dislike this fragrance, which is understandable. This scent is not mass appealing, even if YOU like it, others will not. Very expensive too.

I got a sample of this and I loved it so much it has been on my hit list for months. I recently saw a steal for a 50ml bottle and immediately jumped on it. The fruit notes in this for sure hit but it is something about the musk note that makes this blend very well. Its like a thick natural mango smoothie vibe too it. I havent given it a full wear but I have a pinic im doing with my girl next week and put it on then and ill report back !! very solid cologne 9/10

fruity but instead of being sweet, it has a deep, dark, and slightly musky feel that sits behind a really smooth and rich blend of notes. it projects and lasts like crazy too. i put a sample of this on my arm and it lasted over like 24 hours. i could still smell it after a shower. i showed my dad the day i got a full bottle and he loved it so much that he bought a full bottle for himself too. loud, mass appealing, and made to make a memorable summer.

Gosh I like this. But im afraid other people have not said the same. I wore this to school, and I got a "Who sprayed something in here" and a "do you smell that?". Which was kinda unfortunate because I really like this frag. but to top it off, about 9 hours after I sprayed it, I got into a car with my brother, to which he started absolutely tweeking, saying he just smelt the strongest hand santizer ever. Just sample this first if you get my jist.

I made a blind purchase and I'm not regretful, but I would advise you to consider the following: I imagine it can only be used in the summer, as it has a very tropical and fruity sweetness. The dominant note is something like mango, but I would say it's a bit too sweet for my taste. The scent longevity is very high, and the projection is quite strong at first, so the opening might be intense. After some time, it becomes more pleasant.

Muy parecido a erba pura pero más suave y con menor rendimiento, quizás es por la comparación con erba pura que es súper explosiva y dura muchísimo pero erba gold a mí no me esta durando ni proyectando tanto como esperaba, nse si a los demás también les ocurre, pero por lo general me ha gustado más que erba pura, una lástima que no tenga la misma proyección y rendimiento.

The beginning of this fragrance is feminine but that last about an hour and 30 min. The best part is the dry down that I feel never dies it just keeps shooting out aroma.The dry down is woodsy, vanilla really good perfect blend warm and pleasant smelling more masculine I would say. The opening is very bright it smells good but dry down is where it shines. 9/10

It’s difficult to explain just how this one differs from the original, but if Erba Pura is more of the red/berry-type of fruity, Erba Gold is more yellow/citrus/mango-type of fruity - all while still being on top of that signature EP musky base. Erba Gold is also softer in that it is less screechy. Still just as long-lasting, though.

May be because of my home country, but to me it smells like soap. But photorealistic soap, like i smell it and i can see the bubbles. And i don't mean it in a bad way. If you wear this, you will smell like you had 3 showers today. In fact you are currently taking a shower. Extremely super clean. Love it.

Delicious, fruity & fresh summer scent for the lovers of sweet scents. Extremely reminiscent of Erba Pura with soft edges, beautiful fruit and freshness alongside a beautiful sweetness. I figured I'd never find a summer scent, being a gourmand min-max build as a man, I was wrong. This is perfect.

Make sure you're getting your samples/bottles from a legit source. This should smell like refreshing tropical fruits and sunshine in a bottle. I don't even like fruity musk combos, but I definitely vibe with this. I get compliments before even walking out of the house whenever I wear Erba Gold.

Perfume otimo, muito melhor q o erba pura, porem nao se compara em fixacao e projeçao. O perfume se destaca na nota de melao, isso é algo positivo pois ela se mistura muito bem com o citrico do perfume, e diferente do erba pura, ele voce consegue diferenciar as frutas presentes na fragrancia

No mango in this has me questioning my nose it’s smells like Erba pura but a mango tropical take super nice and less synthetic but it’s has this heavy mango note and there’s none in here which shocked me a little less projecting then Erba pura still beast mode 100% getting a bottle

I just love this. Maybe a fraction leaning feminine but certainly unisex to me. Great for the summer. It' fruity and fresh without the usual citrus burst of most freshies. The Pear really comes through for me. I wear it, my wife will wear it. Possibly my favourite summer scent.

Probably one of my favourite Xerjoffs, Instantly opens up with this fresh ginger and fruits with a little bit of that Erba Pura DNA. I get good longevity with this fragrance about 4-6 hours of good projection as well. I definitely suggest trying out Erba Gold before Erba Pura.

The best mango fragrance. It is really smooth and executed beautifully. Mango with a hint of tropicalness, makes you forget all your problems and imagines a tropical getaway sipping on a tropical drink. Older batches last and project insanely, 10-24 hours on skin!! 8.5/10

Very similar to Erba Pura but maybe more smooth. I become anosmic to Erba Pura but not so much with this. Having said that, it doesn't seem quite as beast mode to me as YouTube reviewers have said it is. Reminds me of fruit salad with cream and a woman's shampoo.

The scent is so tropical. If I could describe with a scene it'd be this : Settling down in the Hawaiian bay, you sip on your juice as you stare into the sunset horizon It's a good daily use perfume. Perfect for most occasions. Strong village and good longevity

This fragrance is so cool. Fruity mango bomb with hints of cinnamon. Its very loud so if you're looking to take over a room with your scent this is the one to go with. One of my favorite xerjoffs, definitely more mass appealing than erba pura.

Erba pura but without obnoxious, piercing musk sticking you in the brain. Yes without that screechy thing that everyone around you and their offspring for the next 100 years can smell, but you don't because you get anosmic to it.

Beautiful fruity scent that smells like a fruit smoothie with some citrus. This thing has eternal longevity will lasts days on me. Ended up selling it but it’s amazing just would rather smell this on a female than on myself.

No joke. This is the epitome of a summer day, walking through a fruit market. complete with bright, fruitiness. It smells a little bit synthetic, like most of xerjoff fragrances, but I am in love.

The best xerjoff fragrance from their collection "Vibe" very fruity, citrusy and sweet its like erba pura but tone down the sweetness and make it less synthetic and make it more fruity/citrusy
