Right... birthday came round and Finchy, the little creep, buys me a bottle of Erba Pura by Xerjoff. Nice of him, I thought. Sicilian orange, bergamot, lemon up top – bright, juicy. Then all these fruity notes, sweet like candy. Dries down to white musk, vanilla, amber. Creamy. Gourmand. Smells expensive. Like a tropical dessert that costs a fortune. I wore it a couple times, got a few compliments. Felt good. Then I found the receipt in his drawer when I was looking for the stapler. Fake. Cheap clone. The little sod regifted me a dodgy bottle. Typical Finchy. So I went out and bought the proper one myself. Proper juice. Beast mode. Sweet but sophisticated. Quiz night rolls round – I'm wearing the real Erba Pura, smelling like a king. Finchy turns up in the exact same scent. Again. Stole my idea or bought another fake, who knows. Birds all over him. Next thing I know, some chick from marketing's dragged him into the disabled loos and... well, she's on her knees giving him the full works. Proper gratitude. Meanwhile I'm sat there with Gareth going on about the Army and guns for the hundredth time. Some bird walks past, sees us two blokes chatting in the corner and gives us this look like 'Aw, bless 'em' – thinks we're bent for fuck's sake. The fragrance? Lovely. Ten out of ten. But next time Finchy buys me aftershave, I'm checking the batch code. Anyway...

Erba Pura is a fragrance I absolutely adore. Despite its reputation, I personally do not find it overpowering or too in-your-face, and even if it leans that way, it is something I genuinely enjoy rather than mind. To me, it feels joyful and unapologetic. The scent itself is a vibrant burst of bright, juicy fruits wrapped in a smooth musky-amber base. It smells incredibly clean, fresh, and slightly creamy, with a polished sweetness that never feels messy. The overall impression is pure summer energy. It instantly brings to mind a sunny vacation, clear blue skies, and a cocktail in hand by the sea. While many see it strictly as a warm-weather fragrance, I would happily wear Erba Pura on any sunny day, regardless of season, as long as the sky is clear and the mood is right. It has that kind of uplifting quality. I do not currently own a bottle, but I have tried it multiple times in stores, and every time it leaves a strong impression. The spray lingering on my hand is genuinely intoxicating and has me sniffing my wrist nonstop for the rest of the day. Because of that, it is without a doubt one of the first niche fragrances I plan to buy once I have the money.

I purchased a bottle of Erba Pura recently after going back and forth with testing it out. The only thing stopping me from purchasing it sooner was that the bottle is covered in velvet. I detest the feeling of velvet. I love how this fragrance incorporates Middle Eastern influence into mainstream perfumery. Across my friendship group, my friends from the Middle East smell the best. They have no qualms in wearing a strong scent day or night. And I love that about them. All that aside, Erba Pura is a beautiful scent. A fruit cocktail with citrus to prevent it from smelling like a juvenile, immature body spray. It smells expensive. It’s also a chameleon scent. If you wear it in the day it projects just enough so that those close to you can smell it. However, when the sun goes down this perfume comes to life. I’ve experienced this with brands such as Mancera and Montale. At night, this lingers in the air, will enter a room before you do and stay in that room upon your departure. Scent: 10/10 Lasting power 10/10 Sillage 10/10

Erba Pura is sunshine in a bottle. 🛑 FULL STOP 🛑 Some fruity fragrances out there try so hard to be loud, they become screechy or sharp. That is NOT the case here. To me it strikes the perfect balance of juicy, tropical, & vibrant without ever crossing into shrill, synthetic, headache-inducing territory. Its giving luxurious fruit basket enjoyed pool-side at a 5 ⭐ star tropical resort rather than an overly-sweet fruit punch kind of vibe. The musk & amber in the drydown smooth everything out, giving it a glowing quality that lingers beautifully on skin & clothing. Bright, happy & effortlessly elegant. It is proof that a fruity fragrance can be bold without having to shout. It projects perfectly all day; managing to feel both playful, & carefree at the same time.

Didn’t try it because of the hype and many bad reviews till last year when I was on holiday in Spain. Somebody passed me and I was mesmerised by the sillage. I followed the trail into a restaurant and found the wearer. Once I heard it was Erba Pura I was dumbfounded. Went to try it myself and fortunately my skin loved it too. Citrus, fruits and musk in the best possible way (on my skin). Many compliments even from my fellows fragheads and when I tell them it’s Erba Pura they say that it’s not possible; Erba Pura doesn’t smell like that! Just try it on skin and see if it works and if you like it. Don’t follow negative reviews without trying it yourself. I’m a difficult learner since I had the same prejudice with other fragrances.

Since first trying, this went from an eh, to a love. I honestly prefer this a smidge over erba gold. And to all the bozos saying, npc fragrance this, npc fragrance that, your collection consists of two Jean Paul Gaultier's and a Lataffa, please lower your tone. Anyways, this is a beautiful blend of fruits. Its strong, and powerful while still not overbearing. I would love to smell my girl in this, not something I would honestly would wear, but still amazing. This is were erba gold comes in, it is more masculine and I would personally wear it more. Erba pura lasts extremely well for a fruity fragrance, around 10-14 hour with carpet bottles, and around 6-9 with the newer bottles. Excellent fragrance. 8/10

Hype or not this is a monster... jesus specifically sillage nuke. Compliment maker. I remember the first time I sprayed it clubbing I got a lot of questions and compliments like "you fill the room" "What is this perfume?" "you smell so good" "you smell like my ex and I like this" "I would eat you" "I know you were in the bathroom 10 minutes ago" Do you need more than that? In the Xerjoff category I think it's a top 3 minimum. Perfect luxury and yet so easy to wear. As it dries down it shows more and more of the enticing scent. The scent is completely balanced. Longevity on my skin is more than 14H+ This perfume speaks for you, you don't have to. Just a fruit bomb!

This is an incredible scent! Lucious fruits. Sweet amber. Intoxicating vanilla. Beastly projection with a 24hr performance. It’s just a beautiful, well done fragrance. Only thing is...it smells identical to Al Haramain’s Amber Oud gold edition (which smells identical to Sospiro’s Erba Pura). So if you want the same exact scent, with the same projection and performance, at less than a third of the price, go for the Amber Oud gold Edition. Try them side by side if you can. Believe me. There’s very little difference.

Very polarizing fragrance. Either you love it or you hate it. I personally love it. To my nose it's a more syrupy Ultra Male or fruitier/brighter Date for Men. Longevity is 16 days....projection is 5 miles.....complements are sold-out Lambeau Field. It does lean a bit feminine so if you're looking to try it out, buy a decant before blind buying a full bottle. I snuck 4 sprays of this today before heading off to work. I overheard a co-worker 4 rows away from me say someone smells good. I know it's me, damnit!! LOL

Hooooooly, I finally get the hype. I bit the bullet and blind bought this one with a serious dose of fear, but my adrenaline spike was completely worth it. This is sheer quality sweetness in a bottle. I can only describe it as the freshest, most luxurious honey-lemon scent you will ever encounter. I love and adore this fragrance; it performs unbelievably well. It's a genuine 10/10 experience. My only real complaint is that I wish it wasn't so pricy. Verdict: 10/10—Absolute essential status, worth the fear.

I am so tired of much of the reviews on fragrantica. If you don’t like a fragrance, just say it didn’t work for you, list the reasons why and move on. There’s no need to insult our community’s sense of taste, or unleash a long winded diatribe, filled with unnecessary judgements about the type of people who happen to like something you don’t. Honestly, it’s just not fun and inclusive for anyone when we approach our reviews in that way. But ya know, whatever, do you boo. ✨🩵✨

A fruity unisex perfume with beast mode longevity and projection. The scent is unique enogh to use in Asia since there is not many people using Erba Pura yet. For me, the scent is not too friendly. But if you love the scent, it's likely that you'll buy it because of it's performance. It stays with you for the whole day. It projects for a large area. Super efficient. But if you don't want to attract too many people with your fragrance, Erba Pura might not be for you.

As strong as this is why does it not work in the cold for me 🤨 Definitely a fun vacation scent or somewhere that has something to do with water during the high heat LOTS OF PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN some people honestly think this is the nastiest shit on earth... I’m not one of those people :) but be warned more negative reception than positive ones Oh and it smells more clean than fruity on me idk if reformation was a thing but meh it’s good as gold to me

Went to Neiman Marcus earlier, thought it smelt great. Buddy was warning me that it has some gnarly projection, but no, I didn’t listen. One spray is all I did, and man, it’s rough. Do not wear it in summer, if you’re in your car you might as well just straight say you want to shove a banana and apple slices up your nose. Just do that at that rate. Great smell, but holy hell don’t wear if you actually enjoy smelling anything but fruit.

Honestly surprised to see some negative reviews, I purchased a full-sized bottle after the amount of compliments I received with my 2 samples. Maybe it’s just that it goes well with my chemistry, or that I live in humid climate, but for me the opening is a youthful, fresh, juicy fruit basket with a more sophisticated dry down. To me, this is a true sunny-weather scent with great projection worn for daytime events.

This is the kind of fruity scent that’s super easy for most people to love. Other than the pretty high price tag, I don’t have much to complain about here 🥹 The projection and longevity are crazy good. Sweet, slightly tart, very addictive and attention grabbing. But pleaseee save this for cooler weather 😭 In hot summer heat it becomes way too strong and overwhelming. Definitely not a summer fragrance to me.🫠

Opening is really punchy but after like 5-10 minutes I find it to smooth out and and combine the musk and fruits perfectly it’s really strong I only did one spray on my wrist and it’s been projecting like crazy for like 3 hours I really like this I don’t get what everyone is talking about a synthetic smell I’d suggest you sample it and try it out for yourself this is easily in my top 3 for summer now

i get why some people hate this fragrance but for me personally i loved it, smelled this at the mall and it was pretty addicting to smell. really fruity and somewhat tropical to me. great scent and lasts pretty long (8 hours) wouldn't blind buy though due to mixed opinions (didn't even know this scent was feminine but scent smells great to me even as a guy)
