Homme Anniversary

This is a beautiful fragrance. I have it added to my cart in hopes for a black Friday sale. The best price I can find is $220. I found the OG Homme for $180 but have not sampled it. To be honest, I am quite conflicted. Its a 9 all day as far as scent is concerned. My issue is with performance. I am not in a scent bubble and I applied 1ml. Sure I can smell it if I look for it, but for this price, I need to know what I am wearing. It would be a no brainer of this was a $60 bottle. I may just roll the dice and grab the OG Homme in hopes that it projects better. Supposedly its more masculine as well which is fine by me. I love the powdery vibe Anniversary gives off which I would assume makes it unisex. 7.5/10

Absolute 10/10. Masterpiece level perfumery. One of the best Xerjoff creations of all time. Every once in a while (longer nowadays since everything is over-sweetened and bubblegummy or candied) you see a house create something unique. And I don't mean fecal, or animalic, or overly oud-laden, but just different. This is that. This fragrance evolves through so many phases of development that each time I put it on I get something new that I didn't experience prior. When I have a hard time 'figuring out' a fragrance, and I can't stop smelling or being intrigued by it, then it is a winner. This is that. Eddie B's article is a colorful peek into this offering....put into words better than I ever could...

Didn't really have any expectations but wasn't pleasantly surprised and I actually like it quite a lot. Very smooth leather with creamy lemon is what I get. Someone mentioned cumin; I HATE the cumin note in perfumes and there's for sure no cumin in this. I can see this working all year round. The leather note is always there but it's not taking over. Would I pay retail for this? No, but if you can get it at like 30-40% off I'd say it could be worth to try out.

The first time I sprayed Xerjoff Homme Anniversary, it felt both comfortingly familiar and strikingly new. Its citrus-sweet DNA reminded me of Guerlain Habit Rouge, but Sergio Momo’s touch took it to another level. The raw materials are noticeably top-tier, lending a deeper, more luxurious feel. With all due respect to Guerlain, Xerjoff’s execution here just resonates more for me—bolder, smoother, and undeniably memorable.

Lovely herbal citrus opening. Lovely spicy leather. Even lovelier sweet candied fruits. But on the overall, this veered off the course of male centered perfume as the name dictated quite a bit. While it’s not quite a unisex perfume, it’s quite a bit sweeter than what some gents would prefer. While I love this for what it is, I still prefer the original.

I smellled it in the Xerjoff boutique in Milan. Absolutely beautiful! They took the classic Xerjoff Homme, which is a 10/10 and made this a 11/10. No word for it. Gorgeous flanker, incredible smell. Unfortunatley it is very expensive as they are only using the best of ingredients.

Bebilon1 Your statment is 100% wrong Nothing like reflection, not the DNA, not the vein, nothing citrusy, and No citrus through the white flower, comments like yours makes everything wrong about this. You are the definition of why people can not trust fragrantica.

Woaw! Absolutelyyyy amazing. It screams quality and luxurious the moment you spray it on your wrist. It explodes very bright, fresh, citrusy and mixed with some leather. Very masculine. I have no other words than fresh, sexy and luxurious...

Got it as a sample from perfumology. Strong projection, lasts forever, great for special occasions. I don't recommend blind buying, though -- definitely get a sample and don't buy it at retail price. $400 for any cologne is crazy.

For me this is the perfect replacement for Amouage Reflection man. Don’t get me wrong it is not the same but it is of the same vein however more citrusy - citrus cuts through the white flowers and elevate it!

Suprise me! Its amazing scent hit you with that bubble gum vibes then you have the smooth leather. ill give this one a 10 on 10

i feel like this cannot be comprehended in the beginning but slowly turns into a somewhat basic suede smell

A somewhat traditional masculine fragrance with a touch of rubber. Sounds weird, smells great.

Very sweet in a good way, should not be called homme, this is 100% unisex and powdery.

I was expecting this to be a bit more leathery with more moss and cloves. If they’re in there, they’re blended really well. What I do get is some tonka and a bit of fruity sweetness. I haven’t smelled the original so I can’t compare, but this one’s pretty good. Good projection and longevity too. Unfortunately, it’s bordering on being too sweet for my taste.

Starts out with a big sweet lemonhead candy citrus that sits atop a very grainy suede. The opening has a modern-meets-retro vibe. As it dries it loses both the lemon candy and suede bits and becomes a very sweet waxy fruity smell. This stage lasts a very long time. Strawberry flavored chapstick and marshmallow. At this point it is very contemporary. Something about it kind of bugs me. The whole thing is very candy-like but it is also so strong. Not a totally unpleasant smell, but I feel it overstays its welcome a bit. In short doses, I might enjoy smelling it on someone else — but I don’t want it to haunt me for 12 hours on my own skin. 7.4/10

The citrusy opening sticks around for about 30 minutes before it starts to mellow out, making way for a subtle vanilla-like sweetness. Still, the citrus-leather combo stays the star of the show. It’s a complex, well-made scent with a unisex vibe that leans masculine. Definitely high quality, but honestly, not worth paying full price. If you can grab it at a heavy discount, it’s a solid pickup.

Burnt tar and gasoline and fresh herbs mixed with citrus fruit cream smeared on a black leather biker jacket, you can feel the heaviness that keeps it from being too bright and herbal. masculine and modern.

I am unimpressed with this perfume. I find it to be more of a vanilla perfume than a leather perfume. Very sweet, smells rather like a designer fragrance. I do appreciate the fact that the vanilla is airy and not cloying, but still too sweet. It clearly has an Italian perfume DNA, which is often less sophisticated and less advanced and innovative than French perfumes. It gives off a showing off vibe and lacks a true heart or story. I was actually embarrassed wearing it next to people. Not for me.
