So clean, fresh, bright, dreamy and beautiful perfume. I saw reviews that say it is soapy, yes I agree with that but it is not only soap like smell, there are some notes that makes this perfume more than just clean. I find it really similar to gucci premiere which I love but in this case Lua is more clean and softer, brighter, not that much loud and this makes it more luxurious scent than gucci premiere(even though I love it). The vibe is definitely some white or pastel colors, fresh sheets, flowers, elegance. I strongly believe that if you want to look and be well put together your perfume should reflect you - your style, aura etc. so that's why I imagine this being worn by a woman who is very elegant, classy, soft and well spoken, inteligent, kind and always with a smile, the one that you want to be around and you are always fascinated by her grace no matter what aesthetics you like. Overall for me this perfume reflects quiet elegance. I just love it. p.s. if you liked this one but not enough because of clean smell, then go with gucci premiere it is similar to this but has less clean feeling.

Despite having tested hundreds of perfumes, I have never felt the need to leave a review on this platform until now. As a long-time collector, you can imagine how difficult it is to say 'I’ve found my signature scent,' but this is exactly it. If I were restricted to only one perfume for the rest of my life, Lua would be it. It masterfully balances being a tender, kind woman with an undeniable sensuality. This scent reminds me of the person I dream of becoming. It’s like a spell—so soft, yet so addictive that you just want to keep breathing it in deeper and deeper. Usually, fragrances in this genre either lean too heavily into citrus and turn into cologne, or they fall into the trap of mundane powders or a sharp, screechy iris that burns the senses. But Lua is blended so exquisitely; it feels like a thin, satin fabric against the skin. Words truly fail to capture its beauty. It is simply magnificent.

I'm either very difficult on perfumes or in fact most of them(including niche) are so unbelievably boring. I just haven't been able to find something that simply grabs me and captivates me from the first to the last minute. Something that, long after it's gone will keep a memory alive from that moment in time. But this fragrance is just that. I'm not an expert to describe notes and it's pointless because most of the times the description doesn't match what I have in mind. We're all different. In addition, some say it's soapy, I would disagree. Gentle, soft, feminine- yes, however haven't smelled a soap like this ... and the longevity. The top notes captured my attention but the dry down is a fairy tale!

I love Xerjoff as you can see from my collection and reviews. I was lucky enough to get a sample. Gerogeous smooth sweet predominant citrus bodied out by compliments turns slightly powdery vanilla underneath. Low silage long performance. Calling a spade a spade (which hurts me here): 1/ well made but not unique 2/ despite the notes it’s a copy of Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi missing the woody aspect 3/ it also reminds me of Panah Gourmantic Orange (also gorgeous) just replace lemon with orange 4/it also reminds me succinctly of Nicolai Vanille Tonka 5/ it’s a common offer in the market If you don’t have this perfume but would like this perfume type I can guarantee it’s probably the first one to go to...

Lua is quality and class for special occasions, however you can easily wear it daily because it’s not too strong, or stuffy and won’t overwhelm. To me it’s about iris, pink pepper, musk and cedar. Starts fruity fresh (melon bergamot) but quickly moves to flowers and sits nicely on a musk/vanilla/cedar cloud. Pink pepper comes and goes giving this beautiful concoction a bit of zing. I get why some people consider Lua mature, it has to be the iris and powderiness, but honestly I’m the last person to delight in mature perfumes so if I can pull it off it means that’s it’s really not that powdery. It really is just magical and lovely and worth trying out. Probably not the best blind buy though.

This is really nice👍🏻 Airy, powdery soft fruits. Too expensive to blind buy ( which I did 😬) but this is an easy to like safe sent. Doesn’t last as long as other Xerjoff on me, but it’s pretty and inoffensive, all weather/season day scent. Came in a really nice box, numbered and everything (what do you do with a box?) I would rather it was $50 cheaper in a cardboard box box.

For my skin the beginning is a bit strong, but when settled, whow!!! This Scent transforms even to powdery pure a bit soapy on my skin. It brings to my mind court, perfumed talcs. Also my childhood evenings after Saturday Sauna, how skin smelled after sauna and soap wash. Lua surpriced me totally.

It reminds me a bit of Johnson's baby shampoo in the yellow bottle. I generally love soapy perfumes so this was absolutely worth the money. Love it. Update: After having tried Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy, I noticed significant similarities between these two.

Not sure why you don't hear about this more. It is simply beautiful. I really find this to be an air, pretty scent. Fruity and floral...and the patchouli just rounds it out really nicely. Very safe blind buy. Love!

Lua is truly enchanting! It's like a delicate bouquet of fresh flowers with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla and melon. So feminine and elegant. Perfect for daytime wear.

Gorgeous. I don't get melon, per se, just a pleasant fruitiness along with the musky notes. Smells expensive and has great longevity. This seems a bit under the radar.

Old fashioned floral bouquet,lovely.

I would describe this perfume as white. I have a hard time describing it, but when I smell it I feel like I am smelling the color white. It smells clean and a little fruity. I like it but am thrown off by some subconscious mental association. Also something about this seems a little masculine. Edit to add: the musk is VERY prominent in this perfume. It is a very clean musk, and mixed with the right amount of melony fruitiness. The drydown is sweet and soft, quite different from the opening. I find this... 'different'. A like but not a love.

One of the most underrated Xerjoff along with Esquel imho, Lua is a really nice clean airy rose and iris with a mildly sweet melon note giving it a fresh and watery feel. Expert blend on this one. It’s super pleasant and while I do think it leans feminine the iris and cedar (and the vanilla as it dries) stops it being cloyingly floral, so I quite like wearing it too even though darker masculine fragrances are my first choice. I would love to smell this on a woman, especially in spring or summer.

Lua is well blended. The two notes that are dominant to me are a clean musk and pink pepper. Iris and melon might be here in an abstract way, but I can’t pull them out individually—and I’m not sure I would have thought that had I not read it here first. I don’t pick up the retro vibe that others write about. On my skin this Xerjoff is a linear, pretty musk with floral and citrus notes. I like Lua quite a bit, but probably would not find many occasions to wear it.

A lovely perfumey perfume, and I mean that in a positive way, compared to how I usually mean that!! In a strange roundabout way, the drydown of this reminds me of a softer version of Mancera Gold Incense, and they happen to share plenty of notes. This is not grabbing me enough to explore a full bottle but is lovely nonetheless.

To me, it smells like a mix of Accento and Chanel Chance. It’s less screechy, much more balanced, and smoother overall. I still get that signature Xerjoff creamy DNA, similar to Apollonia and Pikovaya Dama. Not bad and definitely a clean scent :) moderate sillage and longevity.

basic fragrance with a perfect blend. Starts light and adventurers. It develops into mature adventurers woman kind of a fragrance. Can be a signature scent.

Pretty good, would be nice on my sweetie. But if this Ferre is very close, I don't see the point in this. Nice juice anyway!

Not a big fan.. harsh and soapy floral notes (mostly jasmine and lily-of-the-valley) mixed with heavy patchouli base. But after reading the notes I can feel melon note (which is cool, but just for a while). My ig: scent.guide

Perhaps it's the wrong season but I just don't like it. There's some boring fruitiness that turns into the most old fashioned smelling, elderly soap. I'll give it time and re-evaluate.

Smells very clean. The scent of an expensive soap. Is it good or not everyone will decide for him/her self.

(This review is based on an official sample) It took me some time to decide whether I like or dislike this scent. Let me start by saying this is in no way a bad perfume. It does not stink, it's well blended and it will send no one running away from you if they catch a whiff of it. Yet this scent is screaming late 70's early 80's in my ears. It's sweet, it's heavy, it's wearing a tacky dress with padded shoulders. I can't say I smell the melon, but the "fruity notes" are very noticeable, as is the rose + lily of the valley + iris combination, and the musk & patchouli base makes the whole thing linger heavily without any freshness to it. I can see a middle-aged, unfashionable auntie pulling it off, yet I can't see why one should opt for such a high-end choice. Sorry, again, this is not bad, just really not my type of scent and not something I deem "classy" or "timeless".

Try before you buy. This opened up a bit like Poison but less sweet and more peppery. The drydown is too "mature" for me and reminds me a lot of White Diamonds. Not my thing!

This is gorgeous. Simply gorgeous! At first, I smell the fruits but with a tangy note, from the pink pepper, I presume? A few moments later, I smell the flowers, they come in full force. The iris dominates but it isn’t cloying. There is a certain freshness to it and it lingers. Then, it becomes a powdery/soapy scent but in the most gorgeous possible way, it’s difficult to describe. In the dry down, it simply is spicy, heady and very oriental with the faintest of faint leathery touch but it is absolutely divine and to die for! At least, to my nose. Lua should not be a blind buy. I find it complex and mature. I had a sample and sprayed it several times (on different days to really test it on my skin). I am happy to say I will make this mine after careful consideration. These Xerjoff bottles do not come cheap after all... Full Bottle worthy in my opinion but this is because I love: • powdery perfumes (iris) • mature scents • oriental scents but with definite feminine notes • florals with a peppery touch Lua checks all these notes beautifully and in a most gentle and feminine way!!

Xerjoff LUA shares quite a bit of overlap with FERRE edp. First, there's the focal floral: iris. Second, there's the focal fruit: melon--a notoriously difficult and capricious note for me, but it works in both of these perfumes. Third, there's the general golden gleam. Fourth, there's a clean, resinous musk in the background sustaining the whole composition. There are differences as well, but they pale in comparison to the similarities. FERRE edp offers an enticing rice note, where LUA features a vanilla-cedar base with a touch of patchouli. All in all, I must say that both of these perfumes smell very nice to me. Casual elegance is the feeling they convey. The question remains: which one is better, in the final sniffing analysis--the only one that really matters? I believe that I prefer Pierre Bourdon's creation, FERRE edp. Lucky for me, since it's being nearly given away for free, what certainly cannot be said of LUA, the nouveau riche cousin to FERRE edp.

I'm not a perfume reviewer. I smell a fragrance, and decide whether, on my skin, it suits or doesn't suit. I don't even try (most of the time) to pick apart the notes because I sound pretentious to myself (knowing that I don't know a violet leaf from an orris root). I can pick a rose note, an Oud note, a musk note out of a perfume (the easy ones). I can also pretty much put perfumes into their respective categories. This is all well and good until I smelled Lua. What I have here with Xerjoff Lua is quite simply a gorgeous smelling perfume that confounds me because it starts off as a gourmand and then morphs into a wispy floral? Can that be right? Actually, now that I write this, I find that it doesn't really matter what the notes are or whether I can "detect" them. This perfume is gorgeous and I lament my lack of funds with which to make it mine.

Nice melon scent! When I was 11 or 12 years old I had a melon scented soap that was lovely. I think I never saw that brand again. This perfume smells very similar to that soap. Melon, clean, fresh. Out of the shower scent. I think it's very simple, but it made me very glad, it brings nice memories. I will buy a full a bottle.

I agree with phantosmia Bella. Couldn’t have said it better. This is really old school. Not horrible but not my thing. There are many better fragrances from Xerjoff. To me this is not worth a full bottle. I got a sample of it with my purchase of Casa Morati Dolce Amalfi. Now... Dolce Amalfi, that is a good one!

One word: exquisite! This is a hidden gem for sure from Xerjoff. A very luxe fragrance with a fruity opening, but then the magic happens. A sexy irisy drydown with vanilla that oozes luxe. For a girl that loves a soft, airy and clean floral, this is your jam. Try it and thank me later✨️

Lua is one of those fragrances that I count among those that are extremely wearable on summer days: very light, pleasant. It opens citrusy, juicy, and then gives way to a predominant Iris sweetened by rose. Good, but it didn't particularly impress me, I expected it to be more intense.

lovely perfume , creamy rose, but no longevity at all 2 hours and its hardly there.. for such an expensive perfume, very disappointing

Just a nice, pleasant perfume to me. Nothing so special. I can't shake the connotation of the most typical soap I could imagine.

Beautiful perfume, but it does not fit my pH :( I'm offering for sale if somebody's interested, EU.
