I'm a Xerjoff fanboy, so take this with a grain of salt. This is Xerjoff bottle 25 for me. TLDR: This is like if you took, Musc Ravegeur and Acqua Di Parma Colonia Intensa, mixed it together and gave it some iris lift. If you like those, you will love this. If you believe this to resemble anything else, you can rest assured that this is for sure a higher quality version. There is no sharp, metallic, or chemical smell with this as is with less expensive alternatives. This is smooth, very slightly citrusy, picking up the cinnamon, which I love. Not a heavy powder iris, but it is there and it gives it some lift. There are subtle woods and musks, also not heavy. The amber is a vanillin blend, and the greens make this extremely palatable, so it's not a redundant wood, spice, sweet. Very well blended. A parfum masterclass suitable for all seasons, signature scent worthy. My take on this: picking up the concept of a Malle, giving the perfumer cart blanch to create whatever they desire, this "sketchbook P.33" seems to not be in any particular direction with respect to a concept, but allowing the perfumer to have creative control. This is obvious. For me, Money well spent!

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It is like if angels share had a baby with super cedar. It’s a very complex scent that starts of a bit masculine and then almost immediately you smell the apple and then it develops into a very dry, woody as ent with a hint of cinnamon. I do not have anything like this in my collection (which is over 100) and I’ve smelled at least triple that amount. I bought a full bottle immediately after smelling the sample from Xerjoff. It also has great projection and sillage. If you spray your shirt, you will smell it all day. I typically only need 3-4 sprays and that will last for 8 hours. This is absolutely a unisex fragrance. It will smell just as good on a man as it does a woman. I feel like this is a scent that would smell Greta on anyone and can be worn year round. I’ve worn it on hot summer days in TN (100 degrees) and also on freezing winter days visiting my family in NY (0 degrees) and it smells fantastic regardless although certain notes stick out more depending on the season. I highly recommend this is you like unique, unisex scents and especially if your a xerjoff fan such as myself.

I adore this fragrance, it was really love at first sniff, I would search the never found just to find it, if I were to ever lose it. It’s a love. I would say that it’s best time of year is summer and spring, it doesn’t hold up very well in the wind but if you are to wear it in doors in the winter, you’re turning heads without a doubt, such a beautiful scent, if you want to move away from ’Blue scents’, still have that versatility and sophistication, you’re in the right place! I get about 5 hours in the autumn/winter with projection before become a skin scent.

Ok!.. I willl tell you exactly how this fragrance smells, In the opening this is similar in vibe to one million with added iris but with much better quality and much more complex. In the drydown to me smells like uden overdose with more complexity and added cypress and some green quality. The longevity is BEAST MODE... but it is a skin scent except the first 2 to 3 hours. Overall yoy will get tons of compliments with this fragrance and smells great. But.. 450€? It's really overpriced. But for the smell, it is incredible.

Versatile allrounder. Can easily be used all year. Will remind you of 1 Million, but it is absolutely better in every way. Xerjoff has reasonably priced samples, which is how I initially got my nose on this. Ended up with a full bottle after contemplating the outrageous price a few months. EDIT: They have a "blank page" version now with the same juice but cheaper bottle more in line with normal Xerjoff pricing.

I love this one. It is everything I wished both Naxos (way too sweet for me) and Zefiro (there's something I don't like about it) were. It's subjective, but to me it's a combination of both of those fragrances with the aspects I loved the most of both put into one fragrance. I was scared to blind buy this one due to the price but I have zero regrets and look forward to using it often.

So I picked up my bottle yesterday... I was quite surprised with my first sniff I was expecting something like one million but I'm pleased to say I don't get one million.. I honestly don't know what to compare it with but I can say I'm very happy with my purchase. It has a good projection and good sillage. All I would say is give it a try you may be pleasantly surprised..

I lovely addition to my collection, specially in winter session...I must say the opening is amazing, a lovely blind of bergamot and grapefruit, but give it sometime and enjoy the Beauty of it.. I am kind deciding to make it my winter perfume of this year. Over all 9/10

A tip for people with similar body chemistry...on paper this smells really sweet but on me the cedar gets very strong! If I spray only once on my wrist pulse point it smells like a lovely sweet cinnamon with woody base. A decant lasts me forever.

Opening in the air: Imagine a fresher, but just as sweet version of Comandante that is more about creamy citrus. Different from up close with a profile that is clearly supported by a woody base. In the air: Fruity, slightly sweet. Up close: Citrusy & woody. Dries into this mixture fairly quickly. Within Xerjoff's offering, that profile is most accurately portrayed by Uden and Uden Overdose (bergamot-lemon top). Wore it to the gym and I must say, this is a subpar performer. Sillage is non-existent after the initial spray, even with a higher body temperature. Profile unisex, leaning masculine. Purely a spring and summer fragrance, would not wear it in the evening since it just doesn't offer up much. Value proposition is poor - P33 runs €450 for a 100ml. You can almost get Alexandria II for that which isn't at all a similar profile, but that should just signal how overpriced this is as a scent. I don't think it would exactly end up the same, but you could probably layer some combination of Comandante, Uden/Uden Overdose, and Layton from PDM to get much of the same. You could literally buy 2 of the 3 for the same $. I like the scent, but it leaves too much in the tank. And just so nobody gets the wrong impression from the "Smells like" section, this scent has nothing to it that would make it comparable to Aventus. This has that Xerjoff DNA to it, it's that slightly sweet, musky base that is so common with Xerjoff. Nobody would mistake this for Aventus or any clone of Aventus.

I really like this, it's almost as if the gap between Xerjoff and Amouage are getting smaller and smaller. This reeks of naturals and opulence. Ive only worn it for a few hours, but it's like a diluted version of Amouage's Interlude Black Iris, but nowhere near the performance. This is a very very unique Xerjoff. Would I have bought it if I knew it smelled like this? hmmmm.....not sure, I blind buy everything, but I'm not parting with it, hell no. This is one of those scents that you would save for an occasion but don’t expect to be smelled waking in, you won't but those close to you will. But it can veer the other way; it can be worn anywhere, anytime by anyone, highly versatile if you want it to be. The scent is gorgeous, absolutely divine, but the price tag? a bit on the pricier side, but I understand the naturals and the artisanship that went into the bottles etc, so it's obvious where the money went. As with regards to likening to Uden Overdose, I can very vaguely understand it, but I would never have made an association between the two, I own both, and this is in a complete of it's own. I'd love to see more releases from his Sketchbook, that's if I can afford them! Versatile, divine scent, anytime, not blind buy safe, a bit on the pricey side. UPADTE: after a few months of owning this, it's in the number one Xerjoff of mine out of about 20+ Xerjoffs, divine and an absolute masterpiece, well worth it's £££ God bless....

The initial opening of this fragrance is a Apple and citrus scent with some spiciness in the background. 15 Min - Off my skin I am getting a minty scent which may be a combination of the Iris and Apple notes. 30 Min - The mintiness is changing into a powdery scent with an underlying sweetness and a light spiciness. 60 Min - At this point in the wear I am getting a powdery and musky scent profile with undertones of woods and Amber. Dry Down - The dry down of this fragrance is a powdery musky and woody scent with undertones of sweetness. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is OK with the frangrance creating a scent bubble of about 2 feet for almost 2 hours. The sillage is also OK with a scent trail of about 2+ feet for about 2 hours as well. Longevity on my skin is OK with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 5 to 6 hours, and becoming a skin scent at about 2+ hours. My rating on this fragrance is a 6.5 out of 10.

@Dumbplings You claim to have had 1 million...oh boy...Where did you get the idea that the Le male line has a mix of iris-vanilla-musk? Apart from Le male le parfum which has iris notes, the others have nothing to do with what you are saying. Vanilla, yes, lavender and others but not what you said. From afar, it is obvious that it shares the vibe of the 1Million line, especially the original. They are not identical but especially in the opening you can swear that it is 1Million undercover. It has the same structure, sweet vanilla-cinnamon,flowers and a touch o suede leather(from what I perceive not from the pictures displayed as the notes) That's why, considering the existence of 1 Million, I don't think it's justified to buy it even though it's a good perfume.

tested a 2 ml sample vial. I guess this is one of those fragrances that smell basic in the beginning, but show their true beauty in the drydown. if you spray this on your arm or wrist or somewhere you can sniff regularly, there's a high chance that you are going to like it. but do it on a shirt, leave it and come to smell again, you will be amazed. maybe it's sweet, but not as cloying or generic as 1 million or le male. design is another thing with this. you can barely see the brand name or logo. almost couldn't believe that this was a Xerjoff fragrance. It's like they did it in purpose. 8/10

P.33 is another example as to why Xerjoff is my favorite fragrance house. In this simple composition Xerjoff uses transitions and texture to express creativity. In the opening apple and grapefruit greet you with a freshness that is fresh and slightly tart with an underlying sweetness. Cypress is key in the mid which adds some aromatic lift that helps to amplify the sweet spice of the cinnamon note. Ultimately Iris is the star of the show giving this fragrance texture, that is creamy and at the same time slightly powdery. I also faintly detect Amber in the deep drydown.

This is nice, I never smelled 1 million (not that I am aware of) so I can't compare but this is in the same vein (same family not same dna) as uden overdose and comandante. I prefer those two to this scent, but this is still a nice smelling scent that I would consider buying if I didn't already own comandante. Opening is my favorite part, but the dry down is ok. Performance is around average I'd say, versatility is pretty good. Unisex, with maybe a slight masculine lean. Edit: love the opening but the dry down basically kills this fragrance for me personally.

I got a sample of this, sprayed it once on my wrist, and went “huh this is basic”, and never touched it again. Reading the reviews I think I should revisit it, I still don’t think it’ll be anything special but clearly I probably missed out on something. It definitely doesn’t smell bad, it just smells like every other woody citrus to me. The overall scent is generic but when you pick it apart you can tell that the notes are well blended. The iris in this is very nice. I would give it a 3.7/5, it’s not quite a 4 for me.

But why...?Ok, 1Million has or have(yet) big sales but a brand like Xerjoff releasing a dupe.. If you want 1Million by Rabanne, for a much bigger price, go for it... On a scale from 1 to 10 i'll give a 6.5(mainly because it's just a dupe with a big price tag, what the others have said-work of art, bla, bla. It's a bad joke for those who are in this game for a long time).

Got a decant because I love the 1 million dna and this smells like how I remember I first smelled 1 million back when it came out. Smells 90% of 1 million and dhp 2025 but with greater longevity and higher quality. I wouldn’t pay over $200 for a bottle tho because it’s not original

Why in the heavens is this compared to aventus? They're not remotely close. This is like prada l'homme combined with fresh citruses and white musk. Simplistic, familiar, forgettable, but nice.

Nicely blended, woody and fruity. A slight bitterness to it too from the pepper. Sort of similar to Mancera's Cosmic Pepper. Not bowled over by it, but a decent scent 8/10

A nice fragrance that reminds me of Uden and Uden Overdose with added Iris and vanilla. Presentation and bottle is beautiful like all Xerjoff.

It's an alright fragrance for those who prefer freshness and spiciness with a more masculine leaning profile. I found the first few minutes after spraying it unbearable. But the drydown is very different and quite pleasant. Not the type of fragrance I prefer on myself but I would definitely enjoy it on others. For me personally it is too musky and sharp. But give it a try if you're looking for something clean, fresh, spicy and a bit citrusy. I'm just not sure if at this price point it's the best kind of fragrance with this profile.

Ok great me out: I haven't smelled 1 million but This smells SO MUCH like Ivory soap on my skin. The OG 70's style Ivory soap. Powdery, slightly light wood/musk. Clean, pleasant but for me not full bottle worthy and way overpriced. I'm wondering if anyone else smells that comparison? I can't imagine anyone being offended by this scent profile, which is also why a soap company would use it for mass appeal haha!

Not meant as a jab, but if you're a fan of the Axe Anarchy scent you'd love this. It has that sweet, playful, woody, floral scent profile that can found in many perfumes, but it's done to niche quality. Would say it's a daytime fall scent / nighttime summer scent. Definitely would sample before purchasing a full bottle.

I am going to be very straightforward. The cinnamon throws off the entire fragrance. There is potential here. Unfortunately what could be a very brilliant combination ends up smelling a bit dirty. I'm disappointed. Especially for the price. Hard pass. I want to like it. I just can't.

Does Xerjoff know they created a 1 million flanker? smells like 1 million Privé. Projection & longevity is great but the scent is nothing new and at $400 USD its WAAAAAAY OVERPRICED at least by $300. Tony Iommi and Torino21 were mind blowing and unique, I'd pay a little more for those 2 but P33 Hell NO! Scent doesn't justify the price. If your looking for a Niché version of 1 million Privé then P33 is for you.

A clean iris scent with an overdose of green apple. I love most Xerjoff creations, but something in this reminds me of a perfume that some colleagues of mine used during highschool after gym classes. Sadly, this makes this perfume not for me, as I don't find it unique for a collection called "Sketchbook", and I tend to dislike apple notes in excess.

Don't take this the wrong way, I love Xerjoff ( Look at my wardrobe for proof), but this is utter disappointment. Smells cheap. Smells Paco Rabanne 1 Million cheap Niche edition. Not worth the money, not even close, sorry. Still, no brand has only hit releases and no misses. Fingers crossed for the next ones from Xerjoff.

I don’t understand the hate for P.33, I think it’s masterfully crafted. At first glance, the combination of bergamot, grapefruit, pink pepper, cedar, amber, and musk seems unremarkable. Add in cypress? Uncommon, sure, but still not that intriguing. But then come the iris, apple, and cinnamon, and suddenly, things get interesting 🤯 I don’t think I’ve ever smelled iris and cypress together before. You’d expect the evergreen nuance of cypress to dominate, but it’s perfectly balanced to let the iris shine. The apple brings a mouthwatering sweetness to the top, while cinnamon adds a tenacious spiciness. The result is unexpected yet it also works. It’s like biting into a bacon burger smothered in Nutella 🍔🍫 You’d think it wouldn’t work, but the perfumer has turned seemingly clashing elements into a harmonious work of art. While I don’t love this enough to justify a full bottle, I can see this being a real treat for the right person 🙂

I have to disagree with majority of these reviews im a holistic blind buyer. I got a sample of this, and immediately bought a full bottle. I can’t compare this to all those designer scents simply because I’ve never smelled them. However this is absolutely and unbelievably one of the highest quality iris scents I’ve smelled in a while comparing next to my iris absolute. Fresh yet papery and powdery from the orris, with some fresh citruses, and the cypress really grounds this perfume and gives it a mustering elegance. I really adore this perfume! Sparkly fresh yet complex and elegant. It’s very well blended!!!! This smells extremely similar to commandante by xerjoff and imperator minus the bay leaf by Royal crown, and I love how they make these fresh masculine scents with musky ambery oriental twist! Don’t hate it just sample it first it’s not mind boggling, but it’s very elegant! Also the bottles are hand painted <3

I will start by saying that this to me is very well blended. However, it may be too well blended as I was hopeful that this would bring what I desired given the note breakdown. What I get from this mainly is apple, iris, musk, and cinnamon. The cedar is present but I would’ve hoped it was more prominent. Same with the pink pepper, amber, and cinnamon. This is very airy and sits close to the skin. I would say if One Million Prive and Prada L’homme gad a child this may be it. It does smell good, but not for that price tag and misses the mark for wanting something that came off as ultra niche and luxurious in the marketing this is very designer-ish. The price tag is outrageous for what this is. This is a disappointing release given Monkey Special and Torino 21 which are both relatively designer-ish but done masterfully imo which warrants purchases. I would feel bad for anyone who purchased this retail.

Starts off smelling exactly like Valentino uomo intense...like not even any different in the opening it's lipstick iris with a musky vanilla base. As it dries down it turns more into Afnan 9pm which is a clone of ultra male but this smells closer to 9pm than ultra male. Where as ultra male gives me more of a bubblegum smell that I don't get in this. Definitely similarities to 9pm and ultramale in the dry down and Uomo intense in the opening. With that said I really had that type of lipstick iris they use but the dry down is somewhat redeeming

Was a bit muted / mass leaning on my skin. Might need more investigation, but in general it’s nice. Second test: Opening is great. Realistic crisp green apple and citrus. Doesn’t project much, but is very pleasant. On the dry down the cinnamon comes out and blends with some slight sweetness. Some wordiness there as well (I think the cedar.). Very pleasant and we’ll blended. I still feel it leans designer, which means it’s also very versatile, but the quality cannot be disputed.

Fragrantica developers should implement something to be able to check who is voting so everyone can see their profiles.Will be really helpfull because nowdays people are downvoting everything before they even sniff it or just from personal reason's(they hate brand,perfumer etc). We would also see their collection to have a bigger picture. And no I don't care for this release or Xerjoff as a brand but for sure will give it a go if I have a chance.

Orris absolute aka Iris is one of the most expensive perfume materials, and I have orris concrete and an orris tincture with 15% irons and I can vouch this perfume has tons of natural orris absolute. That’s why this perfume cost what it does... if your ok with synthetic orris materials there are cheaper counterparts to this. Not to mention the bottle is hand painted and finished with gold by hand. Only a inexperienced nose would call this cheap.

I've owned 1 million and tried all the flankers of 1 million, let me squash this finally NOO IT"S NOT THE SAME!! Why are so many people comparing this to 1 million there's no similarities what so ever to any 1 million flanker. This is inspired by the Le male fragrances with that musky iris vanilla smell, I swear some people shouldn't review fragrances on fragrantica

I don't like many xerjoff fragrances but uden, lira & p33 are probably the best from xerjoff...also this smells like JPG le male le parfum. Iris, musk & vanilla however this is definitely more woody/peppery from the pink pepper, cypress & cedar Actually now I think about it the cedar in this kinda similar to Burberry hero EDP

@Karenxkaren I've been asking the same question and I believe I have an answer. Its this synthetic musk's that many xerjoff's fragrance use, and naturally many fresh fragrances will use these musk's, and come out smelling verry designer and synthetic. I agree, they would be so much better if they left this out.

Something screams freemasonry with the p33 sketchbook hmm I wonder why? Did they use alchemy to fix the longevity issue one million prive had? This might be for me! Some are claiming this smells like prive. We will see about that!
