EN Xerjoff Perseveranza — luxury that does not give up freshness I must admit that before trying Perseveranza on my skin, I had read several negative reviews and was already prepared for a possible disappointment. Instead, the opposite happened: Perseveranza turned out to be a beautiful fragrance, far more successful and far more meaningful than many comments online would suggest. The most surprising part is the opening. From a fragrance carrying the Lamborghini name, many would expect dark power, density, leather, engine heat, aggression. Perseveranza chooses a more intelligent path. It opens with a clear, vivid, almost energising freshness, where ginger plays a decisive role. At first, this freshness may even feel unexpected, because it goes in a different direction from what one might imagine. But this is precisely the point: it is not out of place. It is the very centre of the idea behind the fragrance. This freshness conveys momentum, mental clarity, inner tension, the will to keep moving forward. In other words, it truly conveys perseverance. As the hours pass, the composition gains body in a very natural way. Vetiver becomes clearly noticeable, giving the fragrance a dry, elegant and controlled structure. Pimento adds movement and vibration, while elemi brings a luminous resinous quality that keeps the fragrance perfectly balanced between freshness and depth. There is also a spicy nuance in the heart, but on my skin it never dominates and never overwhelms the rest of the composition. The drydown is one of the strongest parts of the fragrance. It remains fresher for much longer than one might expect, then settles into a slightly sweet, resinous, woody base without ever becoming heavy, greasy or suffocating. This, to me, is its greatest quality: Perseveranza proves that luxury does not need to be dark or opulent in order to feel authoritative. It can also be dynamic, refined, persistent and precise. On my skin, Perseveranza easily lasts the entire day. More importantly, it does not disappear: it keeps a steady presence, always perceptible, with that vetiver-like freshness and soft resinous base continuing to accompany me without ever becoming tiring. For this reason, I find many reviews describing poor longevity, a “greasy” drydown or other similar impressions completely out of place. My impression is that too many opinions are built more on expectations, official notes or other people’s comments than on a real wearing experience. For me, Perseveranza is a successful fragrance, original in its balance and much more convincing than many rushed readings would suggest. It brings together freshness, vetiver, resins and woods with measure and character. Above all, it truly manages to express its name: not the heaviness of luxury, but the strength of someone who keeps moving forward with style, clarity and determination. ________ EN Perseveranza Xerjoff — il lusso che non rinuncia alla freschezza Confesso che, prima di provarlo sulla pelle, avevo letto diverse recensioni negative e mi ero preparato all’idea di una possibile delusione. Invece è successo il contrario: Perseveranza si è rivelato un profumo bellissimo, molto più riuscito e molto più sensato di quanto certe opinioni lette in giro lascino immaginare. La cosa più sorprendente è l’apertura. Da un profumo che porta il nome Lamborghini molti si aspetterebbero soprattutto potenza scura, densità, cuoio, motore, aggressività. Perseveranza invece sceglie una strada più intelligente: si apre con una freschezza evidente, viva, quasi energizzante, in cui lo zenzero ha un ruolo decisivo. È una freschezza che inizialmente può persino sorprendere, perché sembra andare in una direzione diversa da quella attesa. Eppure proprio qui sta il punto: non è fuori luogo, è il cuore stesso dell’idea del profumo. Questa freschezza trasmette slancio, lucidità, tensione interiore, voglia di andare avanti. In altre parole, trasmette davvero perseveranza. Con il passare delle ore la composizione prende corpo con grande naturalezza. Il vetiver emerge con chiarezza e porta una struttura asciutta, elegante, sempre ben controllata. Il pepe rosso dà movimento e vibrazione, mentre l’elemi contribuisce a quella luminosità resinosa che tiene il profumo in equilibrio tra freschezza e profondità. C’è anche una sfumatura speziata nel cuore, ma sulla mia pelle non domina mai e non schiaccia il resto della composizione. La base è uno degli aspetti più riusciti. Rimane fresca più a lungo di quanto ci si aspetterebbe, poi si adagia in un fondo leggermente dolce, resinoso, legnoso, senza diventare pesante, grasso o soffocante. È proprio questo il suo pregio maggiore: dimostra che il lusso non deve necessariamente essere opulento o scuro per essere autorevole. Può essere anche slanciato, raffinato, persistente, nitido. Perseveranza, sulla mia pelle, dura tranquillamente tutto il giorno. E soprattutto non si svuota: mantiene una presenza costante, sempre percepibile, con quella freschezza vetiverosa e quella morbida base resinosa che continuano ad accompagnare senza stancare. Per questo motivo trovo completamente fuori luogo molte recensioni che parlano di scarsa durata, di un finale “grasso” o di altri aspetti che non ho riscontrato minimamente. La mia impressione è che, molto spesso, si leggano giudizi che sembrano più costruiti sulle aspettative, sulle note ufficiali o sulle opinioni altrui che su una vera esperienza d’uso. Per quanto mi riguarda, Perseveranza è un profumo riuscito, originale nel suo equilibrio e molto più credibile di tante letture affrettate. Un profumo che unisce freschezza, vetiver, resine e legni con misura e personalità. E soprattutto un profumo che riesce davvero a esprimere il suo nome: non la pesantezza del lusso, ma la forza di chi continua ad avanzare con stile, lucidità e determinazione.

Xerjoff Perseveranza opens up as a bright citrus with some sweetness underneath. After some time citrus note settles and a mix of citrus, sweetness and some herbs is presented, stays like that for a long time. Finally transforms into a skin scent, with only sweet note present.

Fantastic fragrance Exotic like the Lamborghini a stand out of the crowd scent very classy wonderful aromatic spicy clove , hot pepper ,mellow Citron infusing with the vetiver to the creamy vanilla cinnamon tonka bean I’m very pleased !!! 10/10

It’s really good, it reminds me of the smell of cantaloupe. 9/10.

This was a shocker. When I received all 3, I tested on strip and this was my favorite. Well, initially. After wearing all 3, that isn't the case. I thought for sure this would win. It has several notes that I enjoy. Cloves, elemi, landanum, and vetiver. I didn't get huge push off skin but there was mild projection for the first few hours. After that a skin scent at almost 8ish hours. The end result for me was dusty cloves sprinkled with grass. Oh, and a bright spicy opening. For the set, I would put this at the bottom of the 3. Avanguardia takes the top spot. But with all 3, the exact same issue persists. Price!!! For me, I don't see it. Being a Xerjoff fan, I get it. However, there are so many others from Xerjoff that I like better and don't currently have. Mostly all of those can be found for much less. Lamborghini is cool, and could be worth having just because. Even if $$$ wasn't an issue, I just don't know if I would jump on them. Glad to experience for sure. As always, the bottles and presentation are amazing. If I just had to throw money away or they wanted to gift me one. I would lean towards Avanguardia. Happy hunting.
