Torino21

Even if it is a bit expensive it's worth it. It can be found for much cheaper (still not cheap) on gray market sites as well. Such a gorgeous blend of fresh and herbal notes. I knew that I'd be ordering a full bottle almost as soon as I sprayed my decant a few months ago. You're in the backyard of a friend who's studying to become a bartender. It's early summer, before the worst of the heat has arrived, and the air is almost sweet on its own. The ocean is distant, but close enough to contribute its freshness and coolness to the atmosphere. You're at her little bar in the backyard amongst the herbs that she's growing for the summer. Lemon trees line the property, and your friend has a few fresh at the table (uncut) to practice with. But your nose is mostly drawn to the mojito she's making you, or perhaps more appropriately, to the mint that she's grinding up with her mortar and pestle, the fizz of the soda lost to the breeze. The two of you chat and drink for a while before the sun really kicks in, exposing the aromatics of the rosemary and the thyme growing in her garden. By this time, the wind has also picked up, blowing in light but noticable scents from nearby lavender fields. It's the happiest and the most free you've felt all month, maybe all year, and in your mind you're already trying to come up with excuses to stay the night. It's just amazing. The mint makes it feel almost sweet at times (along with the blackcurrant), but this is just such a clean herbal smell. Equally appropriate for an important meeting at the office or a hike on a hot day. The price almost makes me want to use it sparingly, but the performance also does that. 3 sprays lasts quite a long time, and this stuff is so potent I don't go past that most of the time. Very impressive longevity and sillage for a summer scent. Makes you feel like a million bucks walking around. Now that I've rounded out my other summer scents, I won't be afraid to use it either. Any time I'm down and need a confidence boost, this will be one of my go-tos. If they ever discontinue this I'll be devastated. It's like when I was 18 and decided that Acqua di Gio Profumo was going to be my signature scent and they discontinued it three months later. Not quite my summer signature yet (will be wearing it in between Vibrato and Paradise Garden), but if I had to choose one summer scent for the rest of my life this would be it. Masterful. I'm going to have to try the rest of the Torino line the next time there's a sale on decants.

Blindbuy from Xerjoff’s website. The opening is a blast of freshly cut, energetic and natural spearmint/marrocoan mint. A couple of the reviewers under compared it to Nio. Well, maybe a little bit as Nio also is kind of green, but its not minty. Torino21 is, however, more similar to Guerlain’s Herba Fresca in the opening with that dominant green minty quality. In the writing moment I have Herba fresca on one hand and Torino21 on the other. Herba Fresca has more a herbal blend feeling (like mint+grass+herbal flowers such as clover), but with spearmint as the dominant player. Torino21 is more pure crushed spearmint with some citrus. Imagine the smell of mojito before the soda comes in the glass. The smell inside the glass when the mint and limes are crushed together. Many scents has citrus with some mint in the background. This is not Torino21. It is big mint with some citruses in the background. Herba fresca is a artistic interpretation of mint. Torino21 is a sporty one. Is it similar to Reneissance? Not really. Its probably in the same category (green/citrus/aromatic), but Torino21 has spearmint, is smoother and is more refined. Overall quite different. Today, when my girlfriend came back from work, she said «the fragrance you have used today is very nice». She was probably 5-6 meters away from me. It should also be noted that my gf doesn’t like most of my fragrances (and perfumes in general), even those easy-to-wear types. A compliment from her is quite rare regards to perfume. The mint dominates quite a while, but in the drydown other notes such as jasmine also come out to play. A very appealing, happy and bright scent. I get an association to CK2 in the drydown. Not that they are same, but to give the reader a kind of reference point. I guess Torino21 fits the tennis concept as its very green and the mint a sporty energetic kind of note. Torino21 feels very natural and good qualityity. Its quite smooth and playful. It is probably perfect to a white t-shirt or casual wear, or going out with friends doing fun stuff. Overall a very versatile, easy to like scent in my opinion. It would be loved by people around you. I emphasize that it is for the mint lover. If you don’t like mint, look elsewhere. For me, Torino21 is an easy love. Its very natural, versatile and easy to wear. Its limited edition, but could be a great hit from Xerjoff.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR VELIXIR DEMETER THE INDONESIAN BRAND CLONING TORINO 21 This brand sent samples to every small and large YT channel possible to get the hype going. And they flooded almost every fragrance site with fake reviews, it's scummy, but I'll leave a review anyway. I already have Torino 21 and I bought Demeter before it all fell off the face of the Earth. Demeter is about 80% close at best, even though it has the same notes as Torino 21, it's not as close due to the quality of the oils and balancing of the oils and that's why it's close but not quite there. Demeter is VERY mint forward in the opening and it overpowers the other notes such as the lemon but you can still smell them, but it's still pretty close to the mojito aspect of Torino 21. Torino 21 on the other hand is MUCH more balanced, its minty mojito, is also MUCH more natural smelling. Demeter is better in the drydown though (30 minutes later) it's still stays close to Torino 21 but it's mint still overpowers some of the notes. Torino 21 is without question better and it's obvious if you smell them both side by side. Torino 21 is better balanced, uses higher quality oils so it's natural smelling and you can make out all of the notes if you have an experienced nose. As of now, Demeter is the best closest alternative to Torino 21 there is, on its own, it's ok. Its not as refined or natural smelling, but it's ok. In my opinion, just continue to save and get Torino 21, unless money is an issue then at least you'll be 80% there.

Tough to even start describing this fragrance and my opinion on it. Honestly, maybe not perfect in every aspect, but a perfectly great fragrance at what it does. You may say it's not good enough for cold weather, but how does that make it any less of a a fantastic tool for the warmer part of the year? You probably shouldn't use a hammer to paint art... to me, fragrances are tools and should be used appropriately. Torino21 is a perfect tool for its intended used. Green, prominent aromatics, and ultra refreshing! Performance is amazing >8h on skin detectably with sufficient projection for the first 2h. Surprisingly, this has been a very complimented fragrance whenever I wear it to play any sports/workout - I say that because being complimented on the fragrance is not something that happens to me super often. Matches that vibe very well. Xerjoff, in general, is not a brand I have identified with. Likely due to the high number of fragrances they offer, I like very few of those, love even less, and currently own T21 only. I do feel T21 entertains a similar public to Renaissances' but they are not redundant in smell alone. Easy and approachable, very mass appealing fragrance to even introduce someone into "niche." The straight up competitor for its place is now ADP Buongiorno, full on redundant fragrances. Fantastic cost-benefit from discounters. One I see no issue with picking up the larger size (100ml).

To start by describing the scent profile at this point might be redundant, but to keep it simple. Everything that has been said it's true; -The sharp and crisp opening that can be as invigorating as off-putting for some. -The photorealistic green and citrus profile that has been described as a "Mojito" aroma. -The perfect balance between the notes that denotes quality. -The good longevity for a freshie and a good sillage that lingers it ́s presence. All this taken into consideration makes it a safe blind-buy, that is, only if you like green and citrusy fragances because this one is strong, as strong as Xerjoff makes it. While perfectly suitable for the office, i might recommend no more than 2-3 sprays for that type of enviroment, closed ones. If i had to add anything else from my experience with it, is that it ́s longevity is not as strong as i was led to believe, or at least on my end, nonetheless it is very good for a fresh profile. If not the best out there. About the "mojito" aroma, i might say is also possible to think of the scent as purely Green. That is, being surrounded by bushes of mint, basil, rosemary and citrus trees. Overall strongly herbaceous and aromatic. Lastly, ignore all the comments about this smelling like a "cleaning product", for those comments, their criteria has nothing else to compare it to, so they resort to what is common for them, which Torino21 is not.
