I’ll start by saying I’m generally very disciplined and regimented with my fragrance buying. Whenever I get a sample I usually spend some time with it, rank it side by side with other samples within its category, and then plan a buy in the future for things that stand out in a category I’m looking for a full bottle within. I do admittedly love the House of Xinú, so I was excited to select Vetiverde as one of my free samples from a luckyscent order but I was surprised at how quickly I fell in love with this fragrance. I dabbed it on the top of my hand with one of those little lucky scent dabbers as one does, and within an hour I’d ordered a full bottle which is VERY unlike me! Part of it is that this is just very firmly in my lane. Bright uplifting open with citrus slightly sweet stemmy green notes. A great spicy geranium mid, and then vetiver and sandalwood in the base. It’s a joyful unisex fragrance that is basically a greatest hits album of some of my favorite notes put together in a very cohesive, unique, creative way. It has a nice radiance off the skin that leaves a really nice trail in the air that I got whiffs of for hours even off of the little dab on my hand. I am a big fan of LV Lovers for some of the same reasons and Vetiverde has some adjacency to that fragrance in composition (spicy, citrus, green, creamy, woody) but I feel like it actually nails the Lovers brief as I remember hearing it more precisely. It’s just a bright uplifting Happy (Pharrell reference) fragrance with all of the quality of ingredients and subtle complexity I expect from Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Xinú. Instant love, Xinú take my money again lol.

Nothing else in the market is like it; this fragrance stands entirely in a class of its own. What makes Vetiverde truly remarkable is its balance in how masterfully it is blended—earthy yet fruity, grounded yet ethereal, woodsy yet sweet; you get all of it at once. Every note feels intentional and harmonious. That's the sign of an incredible perfume, the perfect blend. Simply put, it’s pure olfactory bliss—a masterpiece. Vetiverde centers around a beautifully composed woody green vetiver, delicately accented with grapefruit, palo santo, and a subtle sweetness. The dry down after the top (sweet) notes is absolutely breathtaking, just WOW! And yet—the sweetness—is one of the finest aromas that's out there, period. This one is for those who know and love fragrances. Vetiverde exudes elegance and an almost effortless sophistication. It is one of the most captivating and distinctive scents your senses will ever encounter—truly a privilege to smell. Worth the ridiculous price tag in its Mexico City showroom. If the influencers ever found out about this, they'd jizz their pants and the Arab Houses would clone the living day lights out of this fragrance. Blind-buy safe, unless you’re the type who’s opposed to compliments from strangers—then, yes, avoid at all costs!

Floral, herby. green. Initial spray is a very photorealistic "green", the grapefruit isn't loud and I almost can't decipher the citrus I am smelling is grapefruit but its bitterness does come through eventually in the first few minutes. It turns into this almost minty dill that dries down into a beautiful earthy vetiver. Well rounded but definitely still evocative of a balmy, hippie-ish sort of smell. Personally, I think this shines when you're sweaty and it's humid. I love this. I have been complimented by friends but my cousin did refer to it as "bug spray" and I can't exactly argue with that. Side note: Purchased in store in Mexico City back in May which by far has been the most pleasant fragrance purchasing experience I have had. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and will guide you through their selection but not at all cloying and desperate to sell you something. I loved every single perfume they had. Aguamadera was my favorite but to avoid purchasing perfume that was similar to ones I had I decided on this.

Perfume is just great. I love the smell of the vetiver that is pretty much in all facets of this perfume in the whole pyramid you can smell it. It's very fresh. It's very airy and it's very versatile. It has some hint of lemon grass or perhaps some grapefruit in it but for the most part, you will only smell the very aesthetic very green note and you can actually use it for a lot of ideas with layering because it tends to go that way that being said it's kind of expensive for something that is for the most part a very basic fragrance, but the projection is very good and something that I have to know is that yes in fact, the bottle can be used in many different ways so it's a very good perfume that it's very versatile. The total is good very nice but it's kind of expensive when you compare to some of the other offerings, although I would say that you can balance that out with the fact that these are very natural perfumes.

My preference for green scents seems to lean toward textured and layered rather than linear, sharp, or overly crisp. To me Vetiverde is a fresh yet deep take on vetiver, with a green, slightly damp earthiness. It's lively and grounding, perfect if you love vetiver but want something with more dimension and lift. It has an elegant, serene and aromatic spa-like quality that makes the earthy, woody and vetiver herbal notes feel polished and structured. I'd say it's versatile, perfectly unisex and long-lasting.

An absolutely stunning unisex fragrance for spring. I can sometimes struggle with palo santo since it reminds me of the hippie shops I grew up with but the palo santo in this is so naturalistic and verdant. Vetiverde has the type of greenness that I wanted out of fragrances like Monstera and Green Spell, but those tended to lean a bit too vegetal for me. After going into scent bar 3 times just to spray it on, I finally got a bottle.

I am in love with this. I don't know how to describe it other than very vaguely similar to Terre d'Hermes but much more refined, naturalistic, and niche smelling. Smells very refreshing yet also very dry. I can't stop smelling my wrist.

This is a lot more than a creamy, white floral-vetiver with a grapefruit open. I’ll let you know when I figure it out.

Smells like when you see the brachiosauruses for the first time in Jurassic Park

Simple powdery woody aromatic scent built around a lovely green Haitian vetiver. The scent opens with a citrusy green accord made from grapefruit, geranium and plant stems. The heart is mostly palo santo. The perfume settles on the vetiver and tonka bean. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. Like most scents from this line, it feels clean and natural. Enjoy!

Terre d'hermes eau Givree thats lighter on the grapefruit and heavy on the woodier notes, only more expensive.

Minty, fresh, super green vetiver. Unisex but definitiely masculine leaning.

Fresh dill at its best. McDonald's burger pickle, ketchup, and mustard at its worst.

Bubble bath in the heart of the tropics. An army of the undead approaches. Pink satin negligee, frayed lace, damp skin. Powder, rouge, perfume, genteel botanicals dabbed behind the ears, an ornate imported mirror’s humid surface reflects palms and liana and strangler figs pressed against swollen shutters. Lush growth, wild abundance, birds of paradise fills every window; just inside the steamed glass, a pale, wilting orchid of a woman, a fragile, cultivated existence inside that’s already starting to decay. Rosy citronella, refined for cocktail parties instead of protection. Grassy twigs distilled into cut glass crystal atomisers rather than bundled for kindling. Bamboo like the idea of bamboo, clean and serene and watery-green, nothing left of the sharp-edged, invasive reality splitting the foundation outside. The whisper of bodies that no longer remember their names, thronging with un-life, powdered pollen dusting limbs, numbing nerves, severing synapses, only a mindless floral directive: bloom, spread, consume; crawling corpses crowding at the threshold. The tub fills, overflows, she’s sinking beneath the flowery froth, a strange sluggishness creeping through her body, a sweet lethargy replacing thought, an ecstasy of subsummation as awareness dims, a blissful relinquishing to the blooming collective as the door splinters inward.

This is a gorgeous fragrance for anyone that loves vetiver. It done in such a unique way, and plays up the grassier quality of vetiver. It's very fresh without being boring. It does have an undertone of dill, but i find it to be more like fresh dill in a garden, rather than pickles. Something else makes smell like the pages of a new book that you are reading outdoors on a sunny day. Xinu can take all my money at this point. They are clearly master perfumers.

Strong fresh dill, dank, and woody accords. This is the most complimented perfume I wear, probably due to the strong projection and the unique savory quality. I bought originally bought this because I hadn’t smelled anything like it, and at first I disliked the mustard-y undertones but grew to love it. The longevity is insane! Not for everybody, but if you want to smell like a sexy dill pickle this is for you.
