Lacquered Rose

I completely disagree with the person beloew. I love the X-Ray line and lacquered rose is a simply beautiful fragrance, a gorgeous spicy rose that lives up to its name. Sometimes dirty, sometimes sweet but always spicy and seductive. I think it's such a shame they had to change the lid design as it looked so stunning and I have never had any problems with mine. For a small boutique perfume house I am not sure what the person below expects, I don't think they could have done more and ultimately your purchase and contact therefore was with Barneys so the resolution should be with them also? I think it's mean spirited to leave a nasty review based on this. I have 5 of the perfumes from this line and I think they are all exceptionally lovely, unique and individual. Yes the price tag is higher because they are niche which is the only downside of course. But I love that they smell different and that's a huge part of their appeal to me and I love these layered too. I just wish the bottle design hadn't changed as it was so different and distinctive; more like a sculpture than a perfume bottle.

I like the giant strap I do not know what you talking about sintetisk stuff, this fragrance is exclusive and long long lasting strong feminine wonderful fragrance. if somenody want an expensive very exclusive fragrance than its this one !!! love but its too expensiv here in sweden 1250 kr

I love Lacquered Rose. I used to have lots of compliments. I bought it at the legendary Barney's New York. Unluckily it's not available anymore, at least in the US. I found the Europe's website with acceptable prices, but I don't want to order due to the uncertainty of delivery.

I have to write again about this fragrance .How often I use so I become more in love with this scent, this is like a dream ,,,elegant and magical

Just purchased a bottle of this. Since there are no reviews for this, i'd like to jot down my first impressions. Very low projection. This is the very first thing i noticed. The smell on first spray reminds me of Ferrari Essence Oud. Not much oud to be smelled here. Its a candied rose. A little woodsy and some safran i can detect. Longevity is average. About 5-6 hours. This is basically a skin scent. So far, $185 for 50ML is shocking. In a bad way. Edit: The metal cap seized itself to the atomizer. I had to yank it off. Then i noticed that the inside of the cap is rusting. Nice. I emailed X-Ray Profumo to give them a chance to fix the problem. Firstly, finding an email address is not easy. I had to examine the international site since the USA site seemed like it wasn't even finished. Finally i was able to email them and told them what happened, and expressed by disbelief that a $200 luxury perfume had a cap that was rusting. They responded after about a week telling me that they know abotu the problem, and have completely redesigned the bottle and cap. And that i should go take the perfume back to Barney's. I send a reply asking is there was something that we could do over the mail since going to Barney's would be a bit of a pain because of the current winter weather conditions. I never received a reply. So i decided to take his advice and go down to Barney's and exchange it. Except i exchanged it for a perfume from a different house. Good riddance X-Ray Parfumo. Generic smelling perfume, high cost, poor performance, and defective bottles. Why did i buy this in the first place?
