I was actually really intrigued about this fragrance. I was only curious due to cotton candy and some of the notes reminded me of Mac's Candy Yum Yum. At first blast, it was overwhelming scent of lavender and cedarwood which reminded me of pinesol or lavender scented bathroom cleaner, it really put me off. But then, I waited, I couldnt judged and dismissed it off immediately as a dud and honestly, it mellows out to a Barbie fresh out of the package smell. The amber and vanilla certainly it help it become more bearable, adding sweetness while the guava and cherry blossom adds sharpness and crispness. I wish lavender and cedarwood werent in the formula, it honestly does not balance well with the other feminine notes, otherwise its a great Barbiesque appeal.

Opens like a girls deodorant (Vogue girl, the one with cats), so initially a little nostalgic but not wearable for me. Then the cotton candy strawberry plastic came through. Synthesis would lift this to the level of artificial I hoped for but on its own it's nice for sunny weather.

Fun fragrance. My wife says it does open with a new barbie smell (smells plastic to me) . Has kind of a MFK 540 sweet vibe that dries down to a high quality candy scent. We both like it

love synthetics and all sorts of scents but nope! just too sweet in a way that makes me nauseous but do i still love it, cherish it, and use a little now and then regardless cause it makes me happy? of course! wouldn't recommend unless you know exactly what you're getting yourself into which you should with this one :)

I love the opening but it becomes too syrupy-sweet after a few hours (like... store brand soda & cough syrup sweet.) It's definitely Art, but it's not fully wearable Art.

I did not love this bc sadly; it was more masculine on me than anything... it was a bit odd but not terrible. Sweet musky and a strange syrupy smell. It reminded me of something else I have had before but I could not put my finger on it. It smelled like my tub of barbies in the shed in the summer heat.... then it dried down into a more clean new ish Barbie scent once the guava dried down and stopped giving off that warm fruit funk. It gets an A+ for being an artistic scent to me but I had to swap this baby even if I loved the packaging!

I have never written a review for another perfume, but this is my signature scent that I have worn on and off since 2018, and by far my most complimented/asked-about perfume. To me, this initially smells VERY strong and artificial - almost like 100 perfumes all in the air at once, plus hairspray and nail polish. The drydown on me is pretty warm and sweet, but it doesn’t smell as much like any identifiable note as other perfumes I love. It kind of has a “a perfume you once smelled on someone and liked but didn’t recognize and couldn’t ask” note? It smells like your best friend’s makeup bag that a department store perfume sample leaked all over, so the smell of that has mixed with the smell of lipstick and a ton of hair spray. It’s a really messy, feminine smell — I do get the cedar/sandalwood note heavily, and I think the lavender + synthetic berry notes. I just wanted to contribute a positive review because I have repurchased twice and multiple bottles and had deep anxiety when I thought it was discontinued, lol. This probably smells different on different people, but I think if any of your favorite perfumes are described as “plasticky” or “waxy/smells like dolls” then you’re in the demographic who might like this! A friend asked what this smells like, so I decided to test my bottle today with a well-working nose. First blast- This smells like a guava flavored cotton candy mixed with a base of men's barbershop/aftershave. After five minutes, it dries down warmer with the amber, cedar, and sandalwood poking through. I guess you could interpret this perfume as Barbie getting frisky with Ken, which is kind of genius if you ask me. Very very sweet though, and very very synthetic, so if either of those two characteristics bother you, pass on this one.

This is a very sweet fragrance. The cotton candy note does not stand out as much as I would have expected. After a few hours I still have the fruity sweet smell. Of all the Xyrena fragrances I have tried this is the least interesting.

In a way this sort of reminds me of the Lolita Lempicka perfume. To me it smells prominently of raspberry syrup and powdery musk. I like it.

This smells nothing like BR. It smells similar to Mon Guerlain but more lavender. Lasts and I love it
