Space Cake

hated this at first but its become one of my favorite perfumes. it smells like weed a little, like barely. but its mostly cake. its kind of sickenly sweet, it really smells like baking a really rich buttery cake. its not super immature but i guess not very mature either. its very strong and lasts me almost the whole day. its way too expensive though, i wish i could find a travel size, especially considering how little you need to apply. was nice to have as a sample but i really wish it was cheaper and i wish the weed was more prominent.

At first I get a really sour kind of smell like green apples. Before scrubbing let it dry down and its lovely. I really notice the cupcake and frosting but I also detect a green note (still slightly sour) which I assume is the cannabis but it doesnt smell like actual cannabis. What a cannabis plant smells like still growing I have no idea so maybe thats the scent they went with? Either way dont worry about getting this and smelling like you just smoked or smell skunky lol.

very sweet vanilla cupcake. very strong. dont smell weed. leans toward fem.

I don't like it. It reminds me of a really synthetic harsh strawberry fragrance oil i purchased for candle making. Not a juicy edible one though

I’ll say it: initially, this fragrance is _weird_. I consider myself both something of a cannabis connoisseur and a fragrance junkie, and at first sniff, this smelled neither weedy nor like anything I’d consider wearable as a perfume. But with this fragrance, as with many things, patience is key. This perfume feels a bit like two scents in one - not in an “oh, the opening is different from the dry down” way, more like a “someone poured two totally different scents into a cocktail shaker and this was what happened” sort of way. The first spray, I smelled absolutely nothing in the way of cake batter, butter notes, or sweetness. I genuinely wondered if I’d been given the wrong scent by the sampling site I bought it from. It is a basement-dank, mossy, herbal, wet-ferns-and-crushed-tomato-leaves type smell. More forest vibes than 420. I actually really enjoyed it, it was just not what I signed up for when I purchased the fragrance. But after about an hour, the greenness toned down to almost nothing and the scent changed entirely - I smelled the salty butter, almost on the verge of buttered popcorn, and a LOT of sweetness. It did have a cake-batter character to it, with lots of vanilla and sugar. Another hour went by and somehow the green notes that had all-but-disappeared came out again, but a little funkier (and admittedly, a smidge skunky) and mixed with the sweetness in a way that finally, after two hours of wear, became recognizable as a weed smell. The final effect is that of an infused rice krispie treat: mellow, vanilla-tinged buttery sweetness with that distinct cooked-weed undertone that you’ll know immediately if you’ve ever made something with cannabutter before, but doesn’t read as “WEED” to a naive nose (I tested this with my grandma, she said it smelled like eating cake outside while someone mows a lawn down the street) It stays this way for the remainder of the wear time, about 2 more hours before it becomes a very close, can-only-smell-it-an-inch-from-your-skin scent, and then another hour or two before it’s basically gone. All in all, this is a cool perfume to have in my collection, and is very interesting to wear - you basically get three scents in one with the opening, middle, and dry down. I can see why someone would love it (I do!) and can also see how someone could hate it - it’s not for those who like a very linear, familiar fragrance experience. As someone who is something of a study in contrasts with my fragrance picks (I love wet, green, herbal-fresh scents as well as heady, sweet orientals and gourmands) this scent is the best of both worlds! I’m very interested in testing out Xyrena’s OG Kush for a more purely green cannabis-based scent next!
