#1295 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Definitely in for a full bottle of this one. My first experience with a Yanina Yakusheva fragrance, and it's a banger! Really rich olibanum, nice iris, leather, pepper, tobacco, it hits all the marks for me. It's long lasting and attractive. More a business and pleasure scent than something for causal wear. I'd put this up there with my favorite Boadiciea scent, "Comlplex", but this is more floral so it's more unisex. I think it's safe for close quarters if not overdone. I'd definitely wear it in the office, dinner dates, formal events, but not casual day wear. Not cheap or easy to find (ScentSplit at $150), but I'll pay it.

Amazing fragrance. A bit old school with modern twist. Solid projection and longevity. Unique fragrance. 8.5/10 from me.

A nice old-school carnation, a bit too discreet but enjoyable

Sweaty wool cape... This is more of a wool than leather with moist herbal, and sweat & i believe this sweat comes from the sichuan pepper & the castoreum with bits of musk and the narcissus. I'm sure than civet is not there! it is the castoreum! OR maybe the mix of olibanum, tobacco, and the musk with bits of carnations that causes this castoreum effect! As it cools down, i start to detect ambrette & intense animalic musk. When i realized that this brand is Russian, i never got surprised of how different this blend is! i mean Russian houses are WAY different than Italians and French perfume houses (Europe in general) as they have their own direction of creativity that can't intersect with any other region & i believe this comes from their rich heritage, very cold weather (which by itself helps with animalic, and very strong blends to tolerate with), & definitely for their unapologetic habit to experiment anything that is new in order to discover new art, and honestly i really respect this creativity habit cause this is what art is... NEW. & i believe some of indie Italians perfumers uses this method too. Btw, this has nothing to do with "Leather oud" by Dior... This is intense animalic that starts intense and cools to more smooth aniamlic. Nice.
