Bluebell & Sweet Pea

Having bought the body spray in TK Maxx I decided to try this perfume on a visit to Boots today. I really did not expect to be as impressed as I am. I usually find perfume rarely lasts at all on me. My skin just gobbles up pretty much everything I put on it. So whilst I was seriously thinking about buying a bottle I decided to spray and walk around for a bit to see how long it took to fade. There is still a faint whiff of it about 8 hours later. I'm really wishing I'd bought the bottle now. This has out performed many more expensive perfumes I have tried. Wow! So that's enough about performance. Now to describe it. It's quite a fresh, clean, almost aquatic scent, ideal for Summer. I think most people would find it inoffensive, so it's good for daytime or office use. It's very pretty, think girl next door, picnic in the park kind of thing. If it was a song Belle and Sebastian would be singing it. Which is kind of the vibe I'm aiming for. I'm definitely going to get a bottle next time I'm shopping.

A surprisingly good quality scent for its price. Super feminine, floral, slightly powdery. Prominent bergamot, sweet pea and jasmine. I am really impressed. Not every niche has such a well-combined floral tenderness and flow, well done, Yardley.

This encapsulates for me the perfect loving scent, I mean, it is so humble and gentle. You know when you realize that love is patient and kind, so sweet and light that it can bear, hope, and endure. This scent is everything but arrogant. It is a little nothingness floating around you, musky clean, floral, a bit sweet and pastel blue in the air. Not more, but not less. Edit: because of their concerned position and concept, because of the transparency and the shy and lighthearted elegance, Yardley is very appealing for me. But I still need to fully understand the way I should use them. The musky base blind my nose when I need to be concentrated on the scent. Reapply ? Less is more? More distance from the face? Skin or clothes ? Hair? Wardrobe ? Still investigating because they worth it !

Lovely, romantic, fresh, extremely natural smelling fragrance, suitable for spring and summer days. The longevity unfortunately is weak - which I sort of expected - but apart from that it is a nice perfume. Absolutely inoffensive and feminine, perfect for all ages; however, it will shine on younger, romantic souls. It reminds me of a young woman dancing barefoot on a spring meadow, in the sunny, slightly dewy morning or in a garden just before sunset on a rainy day. It has some romanticism and nostalgia inside. If you’re looking for a bold personality though, look elsewhere.

For a photorealistic bluebell with the scent of the flower and the woodland floor it grows in, you still need the Body Shop's Bluebell mist (thanks Edie!) if they still make it. https://www.fragrantica.com/news/Scents-of-England-Bluebells-20264.html I have that and this one, and the bluebell in this smells pretty accurate to me, from what I can tell through the lovely scent of the sweet peas. Insignificant sillage and longevity, but for 125ml for under a tenner, repeat spraying is not a problem with this refined, refreshing floral.

Perfume leve e fresco, mas não cítrico, e sim um floral fresco. um perfume elegante, sutil, limpo e aerado, agrada qualquer um, cheiro de limpeza, é um perfume alegre sem deixar de ser elegante, quase romântico, ideial para qualquer ocasião, dei blind e foi um compra sem arrependimento. Infelizmente é um perfume um pouco fraco demais, não projeta mais que 30 minutos, mas mesmo assim recomendo sem pensar duas vezes, fui muito elogiado quando o usava e sempre me perguntavam qual era a fragrância, porém nunca reveleva.

Not a photorealistic Bluebell, overpowered by the other floral profiles, if you like Geranium heavy scents, this is one you'll enjoy for daily use, keep in mind this is going to require frequent reapplication due to poor longevity and even poorer projection. Muskier and Woodier than Vanillic. Cozy and slightly sweet floral. Could be considered a mature profile by some. Definitely reminds me of a women's favourite: L'eau D'Issey.

This scent initially reminded me of L'eau d'Issey Issey Miyake, which I was not mad at because I do like that fragrance. It is very natural & refreshing smelling, and more complex than I was expecting. It doesn’t last long at all though, which is incredibly disappointing because this is such a wearable and lovely perfume. For that reason it’s a like for me.

It is a very clean, floral fragrance, but oh, the longevity is horrendous! :(

Agree with the reviews below, this is very gentle and slightly sweet. I was worried it would be old-fashioned but it is definitely not. It's hard to describe, so I will just copy what others have already said, this smells like the color light blue and flower fields on a cloudy day. It's herbal and powdery, with slight fruity tartness - like crushed smarties, which makes it surprisingly sweet. It's not a sickening sweetness, it's very natural. I imagine this could be a Victoria's Secret perfume from the early 2000s in a light blue and white bottle. The name would be something like "Baby Blue Dreams". It works with a sporty outfit, as well as on a sweater or with a dress. It's not energizing, but is very refreshing

My favourite flower is sweet peas. My grandmothers favourite flower is bluebells. Naturally this became a must have gift for her. Blind bought without even looking at the note breakdown as I trust Yardley to do the flowers justice. It is lovely and soft. Inoffensive and beautiful. Citrus opening was very surprising
