English Rose Fragrance Mist

Shockingly this has garnered me the most compliments out of all the fragrances I own! It’s also the cheapest in my collection (works out to £4 per 100ml!) Rose is one of my favorite notes (along with tea) and this has both so it’s right up my alley. It’s light and refreshing, but also has a certain uniqueness and elegance to it that is not typical of cheap body mists. The blackcurrant note adds a bit of depth and mystery, but the overall effect is very fresh and natural. Its sillage is actually quite good and longevity is better than expected. I also own the perfume, but this is definitely better—it’s less heavy and more natural smelling. It also has added moisturizing ingredients so it feels nice on the skin. I also have both the hand lotion and body wash (also incredibly inexpensive) and love to layer them. I love that I can use this liberally without worrying that it’ll over power or break the bank!

The body spray is less powdery and musky than the perfume. The body spray may even last longer than the perfume and I wonder if it is because it has moisturizers in it. I think I prefer the body spray over the perfume. The ingredients are more natural, it has better performance and is a truer rose scent.

This brings up memories of my Aunty. It’s lovely actually, clean sweet roses, not too powdery, not too cloying. Longevity and silage are moderate.

I actually like this more than the perfume equivalent also! I was coming here to report exactly what others have already said 😊 This is a fresh, pretty, truly *English* gardeny rose. It's natural, clean, and has a dewy quality. It's so fitting for spring, I think late April - mid May would be a perfect time to wear this. Maybe on a rainy, but warm afternoon. It doesn't have great longevity, but it perfumes the air around you. You might not catch it on yourself, but others can. It's well worth the money! 🌹 🌧

I adore this smell as it reminds me of my lovely Grandma who gifted me this body mist for my birthday a few years ago. She always wears the rose body lotion from sanctuary spa and uses the yardley english rose talcum powder. It's such a gorgeous feminine smell and so nostalgic. It is a very basic floral without much of a base but it's good value for the price!
