Hermina

On me Hermina is predominantly a herbal scent. I can smell basil and black pepper. I can't tell if it's similar to any other fragrance, but it's something different for sure. A lovely chypre without being too masculine, nice for spring. Longevity is 8-9 hours on me. I can not detect the fruits on me, it's more of a dry and cold scent. A must have if you are a fan of Silences, Coco Mademoiselle.

I’m a bit reviews suggest a much better more complex fragrance than I get. The initial spray is probably like the accords say, and if the scent stayed that way, fine. It doesn’t It’s thin, metallic floral. Nondescript. I wouldn’t bother keeping it in my car as an extra. This is stinking hot humid summer, I do think this will smell fine on people whom suit 5th avenue after 5, it’s got that same cool metallic softness. I gave away my 5th ave after 5 and some months later tried same bottle again, it may be that the bottle needed to air out and be used thus getting a bit of oxygen to it and it performs better. I won’t bother opening my new one, I’ll just sell or swap it.

Totally agree with the previous comment. It's not floral or sweet - on me its herbs and something fresh. But not usual fresh as you can describe aquatic fragrances - fresh flower maybe... But still more like herbs and fresh spices. It's so different and lovely.
