A cheap alternative to Montale Roses Musk, not as chilly but quite close, a green rose with white musk, not quite as sweet as Montale but for many that would be a plus point in this one's favour. Back of the box says "A voluptuous bouquet of enchanting roses with a natural smell of fresh cut stems and a touch of sensual carnation, enriched by a sophisticated base of white musk, amber and patchouli." Also says 90% natural ingredients.

Having been unable to splash out £200+ on the latest Lancome Absolue rose fragrances, I opted for this and have not been disappointed. The rose is uppermost, but to me, the addition of carnation gives it a subtle, and more oriental touch - better and more sophistcated than flowery. Being an edt, not as lasting but at the price, just have another spray!
