Royal Diamond

I love this fragrance. This is a beautiful, soft, well-rounded floral fragrance. It's amazing considering the price, that it reminds me of Chloe. This lasted slightly less long than Chloe on my skin (only 1-2 hours while Chloe lasted 3 hours spritzed on wrist) but at this price, I would buy this many many times and keep refreshing myself. The packaging is nice too, elegant design on the label. Of course I bought this on the spot. Love it <3.

I don't normally go for classical, light florals (I don't think), but this is beautifully composed, sweet and elegant in a very classic and... tasteful, I suppose - but not soapy-clean - manner. It smells like a delightfully realistic and sweet bunch of flowers, but without too much sharp green-ness from the stems. Also, it's very inexpensive. I hope this is still on sale after 2012 ends!

@silvie - My mum said it reminded her of Chloe too! She was very impressed with it! I have a half-full bottle still and this is perfect for summer. I'm not overly fussed about longevity as I work with food. Not sure about sillage but nobody says anything one way or the other

I was really disappointed with this-I bought it blind as I liked the sound of it but on me it evaporates within 10 minutes. Its a pretty, slightly sweet (in a pleasant, non-sickly way) and elegant scent, but longevity is non-existent and sillage minimal. I got bergamot predominantly, then a generic classical light ladylike floral. Its a very fresh and natural scent, not at all synthetic and really very good, what I consider a 'happy' perfume. I just wish it lasted longer and projected a bit more on me, its no stronger than shower gel on me. Maybe I have perfume eating pores.

Very cool, very sophisticated scent. It reminds me of ralph lauren's polo sport which I like ten years ago.

On the yardley website it also mentions honey as a middle note which is definitely noticable.

I can’t figure out what this smells like. It doesn’t ‘stay’ on me which is a pity as there are Yardley scents I really love and wear often

I was also pleasantly surprised about this perfume. In the past i tended to be a real snob in terms of perfumes but i discovered that this is only narrowing down amazing experiences. Royal Diamond is a hidden gem, a very fresh but rounded floral smell. I was afraid by the description of honey and pear, fearing a cloying synthetical bubble gum smell you find so much nowadays. This is nice in a pleasant way without being a masterpiece like Guerlain fragrances but that is not the purpose. Sometimes you linger to domething just nice like you crave for a simple home made dish after some exquisite and glamourous dinners at a restaurant :-) The point is also that so many other more famous and commercial brands are available for 3 times the price as e.g Royal Diamond and which are at lesser quality. So don't look down to those brands like Yardley which stay silent in the background of the big perfume business. Let yourself surprise you and stay open to discover little gems as this one. I also like their Royal English Daisy, also very beautiful, well balanced floral. Both perfumes are soft, they will not suffocate you and for the price you pay, you can be very generous and indulge yourself regularly. I spray it on my pillow before bedtime so that I am dreaming about beautiful gardens where i am wandering around, admiring the beauty of mother nature...forgetting the stressfull moments of the day..
