Soap Bubble

I grabbed a sample of this as a suggestion on Lucky Scent, and I'm intrigued! The name "Soap Bubble" refers to the soap bubble nebula and is meant to suggest the light, luminous, and iridescent quality of the nebula. It's not really a "soapy" scent, though. It's a light, clean musk with a fruity-gourmand aspect thanks to the notes of passionfruit and caramel. To me it's light and playful. I keep sniffing my wrist in a good way, as it combines that skin-scent, white-floral-musk recipe that I always admire, but adds a layer of sweetness without going into fully gourmand territory. I'll keep using my 2ml sample for a day or two and see how I feel after living with it for a while, but this has potential to be a nice option for late summer and early fall - it scratches that itch for something light, clean, and fresh (my summer go-to faves) a bit of powdery iris and sandalwood for warmth, plus the caramel and passionfruit add a really nice contrast of tart/tropical from the passionfruit, and a yummy salty caramel. Very nice. It's sweeter than my typical choices. And yet I really like it! Maybe I'm becoming more of a gourmand girlie?

This smells exactly like a soap bubble. Soap bubble is a very nostalgic scent, it smells like my childhood memories of going to the children’s museum. This might be too niche, but the museum had a giant bubble ring that you could pull over yourself by standing in the middle of a wooden platform. It smells exactly like that, I guess because the museum used a lot of soap to make the bubbles. It’s such a sentimental fragrance, that’s also striking for me. It’s such a mood booster as well. Even though it’s a relatively gentle scent, it lasts a while and doesn’t disappear. It’s definitely on my full bottle wishlist- I just can’t justify the price point.

i won't beat around the bush: i am head-over-heels obsessed with this scent. soft, squeaky clean, featherlight yet eternal (an extrait that actually performs like one! groundbreaking!). i'm obsessed with all its contrasts. it truly is a soap bubble surrounding you when you wear it. this takes the modern aldehydic profile of frederic malle's acne studios collab and builds on it; i think the nuance of the soapiness is improved upon here. love love love it. i haven't been able to justify the full bottle price but since i genuinely can't stop thinking about this scent, it's probably only a matter of time.

Clean and slightly fruity, I like it. At first, it vaguely reminded me of Fruit Loops. As this sits, the passion fruit mellows out a bit into more of a soapy, floral, clean-laundry sort of smell. I wasn't really expecting this to last long on my skin, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the longevity of this fragrance. I would say most people could enjoy this, especially if you like clean, clean-laundry, soapy scents. It's really good, but I don't see myself paying for a full-sized bottle at its current price. Maybe I would if it was on sale

Soap Bubble is a soft, airy and elegant fragrance that captures the feeling of clean skin with a niche twist. It opens fresh and gentle, slightly soapy but never boring, and slowly develops into a smooth blend of soft florals and creamy musks. Despite its light and transparent character, it has surprisingly good longevity and a pleasant, intimate sillage. It feels refined, comforting and effortless ,perfect for everyday wear when you want to smell clean, polished and understated. A true hidden gem that deserves much more attention.

I remember smelling this at a perfume expo and I distinctly recall thinking "bubblegum", the perfume felt very "pink" to me if I had to associate it with a color. I cannot remember much else other than that + it being the most sweet ig out of all the three perfumes they had displayed but I did enjoy it!

Beautiful clean floral. like fresh sheets, a lil soapy but the soapyness dissipates and leaves behind a fresh floral. sits close to the skin and is a more intimate scent. for an extrait i found the silage a little dissapointing. but aside from that it has a fantastic scent profile

Smells soapy and powdery. A hint of bubblegum. Can’t smell the patch or any woodiness. Inoffensive and easy to wear, perfect if you work in, say, healthcare. A skin scent. Pretty linear.

It is ok- the opening is a bit more interesting - a can smell the peach but sadly it then rapidly changes to an old women rosey musk- reminds me of my gran going to an afternoon tea in a garden. The base notes are a bit more tolerable - musk and white flowers with a bit of Vanilla. Overall, it is not a memorable perfume and less soapy than I expected

A unique sweet soap scent with an average, non descriptive, white floral drydown. I liked the surprise opening(probably due to the gourmand notes), but over time I was less impressed. Has some decent stamina if this one works for you.

This could be a generational difference in terms of what is expected from a soapy scent, but this is distinctively the kind of soap that I have avoided for say, the past 25 years ago: the sweet, fruity, somewhat plasticky kind of soap that normies by for their bathroom sink. Think Softsoap that comes in scents like Tropical Fruit or, hmm, I will just refer to our notes pyramid here...Peach Blossom. Maybe this is nostalgic to younger millennials and Gen Z, but give me that Dial Gold Soap, Ivory, Safeguard, hell, Irish Spring or Coast, or even that Pepto-Bismol pink soap that was everywhere in public bathrooms at one time. These Soap Bubbles are a bit too sweet and feel more queasy than invigorating. There is nothing glamorous to me about smelling like cheap handsoap. It isn't even terribly aldehydic. Oh well.

It smells very strongly of bubblegum and an early 2000s body spray from Victoria's Secret, maybe Love Spell? Nostalgic but not for me. There's a chemical peach scent that starts to come out in the dry down that doesn't work on my skin.

Smells like a vintage bubble bath. It’s a clean soapy smell. I get light to moderate hodge podge of florals and aldehydic vibes. There some sweetness but very faint in the background. The note that comes through the most is the musk! This is very musky especially at the dry down. This will be a good layering fragrance to add some freshness to a fragrance or after a nice long bath or shower and for casual weekend days.

Nice but underwhelming for me. The opening had me wanting it but it fizzled out fast for me as it dried down not leaving any real impression on me other than a faint dryer sheet smell. Acne Studios is still my top pick for that category and lasts and projects much longer too. With Soap Bubble I feel the magic is really all in the opening.

Sugared passion fruit, extra bubbly bubble bath, small bouquet of flowers by a window. The citrus from the fruit is tart and prominent but never over powers the sudsy soap accord. It’s a clean cozy scent with a gourmand twist. Very uplifting and energizing; performs very well.

not sure if its just the name giving me this vibe but glinda in the original wizard of oz would so wear this perfume. super sweet and fruity with a little bit of clean

This one is a quite nice soapy floral, but I assume there are hundreds of "nice" feminine fragrances in a similar vein. Not remarkable.

Smells like a lemon starburst infused with caramel soap. Very different.
